Francisco J., came hour late, the entire time working on my AC he never turned the electric off in the house. He came in and said motor part needs to be replaced. He proceeded, a few minutes later We heard two loud pops and then the entire house loose power. He speaks with a manager, then tells me a manager would be her in the morning. After the entire night without power I phone, the manager refused to speak with me. After putting a review on their website I get a text for a bill 274 for apart we have no idea whether it works or not due to not having any power. I asked them to send an electrician after FPL, came to my home and stated my circuits are blown. I finally get a call from The manager, and she stated after speaking with her “HIVAC GUY”, they have come to the conclusion that it was NOT THEIR TECH. FAULT. AND I NEED TO PAY FOR SERVICES RENDERED.

I don't usually give all 5 star reviews, but these people deserved it. I have had ducting issues with this central air unit for years. Barely any air comes out of the duct in the master bedroom, which is always warmer than the rest of the house. Other A/C companies have quoted me upwards of $1,500 to install an completely new ducting system. That seemed outrageous to me considering I only had trouble with one duct, that was literally 3 feet from the air handler. When the unit finally stopped cooling, I called Speedy Air. Mike came out the next day. The system was low on freon, as I expected. The fan motor, run capacitors, and contactor were faulty. No surprise considering the system was 8 years old and I have heard the contactor buzzing. Mike checked the system and found the leak in the evaporator that the previous technician from another company couldn't find a couple of years ago. He also looked up the warranty information on the unit and all the parts were covered. What I thought might be $1,000 or more came to less than $500. Best of all was what he found with my ducting. The problem was that the original company installed the air handler too close to the rafters on one end. That meant they had to use an abnormally small plenum, which caused the airflow problems. They were also the ones trying to get me to pay $1,500 to fix the problem they caused. Mike suggested to wait until the air handler eventually needed replacing, and change the ducting then. In the mean time he turned up the speed setting on the fan motor itself. For the first time in years we get adequate flow for the master bedroom! What else can I say. Mike ran his buns off, we had cold air within 2 hours, he solved my duct problem at no cost, all for under $500.

I signed up for the A/C tuneup deal advertised for Speedy on Angies List and was extremely pleased with the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of Mike, the service tech. Having used various A/C companies to service other homes I have owned, Mike from Speedy was by far the most thorough and took the time to explain to me everything he was doing. I was so pleased with the work performed, that I signed up for one of Speedy's annual membership plans. I will definitely use them again.

It ended up we needed a new thermostat. The tech could have very easily convinced us that the blower motor had failed and required more major service as he first suspected. This was the 2nd service call on this unit in 3 months with same symptoms. I'm certain the thermostat was the problem during that first service as well since the tenant stated the main cover of the thermostat had fallen off the day before and the service tech "tweaked" the connectors on the thermostat AFTER doing his $350 service job on the main unit. We appreciate the honesty and quality done by Speedy AC Service and will definitely give them a call when work is required on any of our other rental units.

All the work went smoothly. Had a question about the heat pump turning off during a cold spell in Florida and they came out the next day to check it. Very professional. Answered all of our questions. David went the extra mile to research about adding a heat strip to our heat pump. Spent time explaining everything to us. I would hire them again for any of my havc work.

All I have to say is professional, courteous, on time . I had my AC replaced and I have to say being in the service business for 26 years. They were awesome . They took out the old out and installed new lines and the new system in 4 hours. Outstanding work thanks so much.

It could not have gone better. We met with the owner of the company for the estimate and to sign the contract. He made sure we were getting a unit that would meet our needs and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. The installation crew arrived on time, were very polite, took time to explain things to me and made sure their work area was completely clean before they left. The office staff is great and efficient in handling everything. This is a company that provides great service from the owner, office staff and technicians. And the A/C unit is working wonderfully!
