Spot-On Surveying

It went very well:) Chris went above and beyond the call of duty. I appreciate the level of professionalism, competence and dedication displayed by Chris. I highly recommend Spot-On surveying. Pricing was very good and I received great information from the service provided. My neighbor is still in shock due to the result of this survey;)

Appointment was for Sunday , Sept 24th at 1PM, but showed up Saturday Sept 23rd ca 11AM. chatted a while on the front porch. he seemed nice enuf. I asked him for his business card, he told me he was sorry but left them at home. I told him to start the survey and my husband and I went back in the house. After 20 minutes he knocked on the door to say he was done. He had placed pink flags and pink nylon ribbon everywhere... in the front yard and also including the length of the chain link fence in the back yard. When my neighbor saw all the pink flags she went ballistic telling me that the survey was totally wrong. So she called her own surveyor Greg Ossege from Advance Survey Inc. he came to speak with us and told us our survey was totally off by a large amount. He told us that in all his years as a surveyor he had never seen such a bad survey. he offered to do another survey for us..at the cost of another $550. we agreed. He was a licensed RLS and so was his company. The second survey showed that on one side the survey was ca 6 ft by 180 ft off..encroaching in our neighbors yard. on the other side also the original survey was off by 1 ft plus... times 180 ft..this time encroaching on our property. I called our original "surveyor Mr Christian Matthews and told him, but he would hear none of it....he followed the fence line and began throwing survey jargon at me... since Mr Ossege was standing next to me, I asked him to speak to Mr Matthews... when Mr Ossege asked him to share his RLS license number he refused. then he told me that since I had included someone else in our conversation he could no longer speak with me. meanwhile he had charged my credit card for another $100 for a "more detailed" survey but after I complained about his having no permission he returned that $100..and he acknowledged in writing that he had made a mistake in his calculations so he was giving me a $50 discount. So I got busy doing some my own research. I called the licensing board of Georgia they never heard of him and they never heard of his company. His business address is in an RV car wash in Swanee.. His own paperwork states that what he produced was not a legal survey! I never signed any contract or paperwork.

Well the gentleman was prompt and arrived at scheduled time, I asked him about my property lines and he was very informative in explaining to me where my property begins and end, also gave me a printout of the street where my property sits and outlined for me on the diagram beginning and end of my property, this young man Chris was very knowledgeable and professional, I would definitely recommend him.☺️
