The company sent me a crew that I wasn't familiar with, and I wasn't too keen on that, as I'm a creature of habit and I want the same people all the time, for my self preservation.  However, they did do a good job!

Overall great service for cleaning. I had them for about 18 months and then we moved out of town. If they forgot to clean something, I called and they fixed it,. One time they actually came back out and recleaned the entire house. I did use carpet cleaning service from them once and did not like it. I got better results renting a machine from Lowes and doing the carpets myself. The house cleaning was great though. It seemed like they tried to keep the same crew with my house, so the girls cleaning got used to what I wanted done. <br />

The ladies, called me ahead of time and said that they would be a bit late.  That's covering your bases and I appreciated the call, rather than just sitting and stewing about the ladies not being there on time. <br /> The ladies that came into the house were Zoe Brown, Jasmine Oscasio, and Mariela Kruger.  I had already told myself, that if it was the same crew I had the last time, I would have to follow them around to make sure everything was done.  However, when I opened the door, the first thing out of my mouth was, "Oh no, I'm not going to have to follow you around, I know everything will get done!" <br /> The only item that I informed the service of before hand, was the fact that I had a stain the toilet that the other crew didn't get out the last time.  I knew they had the capabilities of getting the stains out, because of the very first time I had them to the house.  Well, one young lady went right into the bathroom, and started working on the stain, and IT'S GONE!!! <br /> The three young ladies, just set about doing what they do best, and that's clean!!!  The ladies even took the books off the bookshelf, and then polished the book case, which the previous crew didn't do.  They just dusted around the books. <br /> They even knew how to use a Rainbow vacuum cleaner!!!  I was asked if I had any perfume or scent I want in the water to freshen up the place, and I hadn't thought of that.  The young lady used one of her cleaning supplies, after I smelled it, to make sure that it wouldn't be too overwhelming for me. <br /> It didn't take them any time at all, before they were done.  I'm telling you, the three young ladies I had clean my home, knew exactly what to do and what they needed.  They were FANTASTIC!!! <br />

The first thing I saw, was the Spotless Logo on the shirts, so I knew who they were.  That was a great help.   The lady and gentlemen that came into my home, were very receptive to my needs, since I'm not able to do things yet, because of the car accident.  I instructed them on how to use my Rainbow, but even I had forgotten and told them to put too much water in the bowl.  They brought to my attention as to how the Rainbow was skipping and cutting off.  I then told them to put less water in there, and the problem resolved itself.   <br /> I enjoyed the crew, as the number one thing is that they are Christians and that made me feel more comfortable with them.  It took me a while to get used to them being here, without jumping out of my skin, whenever they came into the computer room.  I told them that I had been away in the hospital for six months and had just gotten home on 28 Feb 13.  I also told them that even when my dad is here, when he comes into the room I'm in and starts to talk, my heart jumps to my throat, as I'm not used to other people in my home. <br /> There were some things that my aide, Valerie, and I had to finish the next day.  They didn't take the books off the bookshelf and dust, but just dusted around the books.  Likewise with the top of the filing cabinet.  They also didn't clean the window sill in the computer room, but they did wipe down the blinds. <br /> In the kitchen, they didn't clean the stove, thoroughly.  Valerie and I will take the burners apart, when she comes on Monday, to finish cleaning the stove.  Everything else was great. <br />

The last week of May I scheduled appointments with several vendors in Macon to get estimates in preparation for my family?s move into our new home the following week.  I was looking for a company that could be trusted to do a thorough and professional job with out me standing over their shoulder since I would not be able to be present during the work.  I  interviewed several painters, cleaning companies, and etc.    <br /> Spotless Cleaning was one of the companies that gave me an estimate.  Stephanie and her husband came and gave a great pitch.  At the time I interviewed them the house was completely empty except for two camp chairs.  The house was a foreclosure but in great condition and really just needed some tender love and care.  The hard wood floors were dull and needed to be cleaned and polished, the cabinets needed to be wiped down inside and out, bathrooms needed thorough cleaning from sitting empty for so long, etc.  Although I met with another company and immediately liked them and their work ethic, I was so impressed with Stephanie?s pitch I decided to go with Spotless Cleaning.   <br /> Based on what I described as my needs Stephanie suggested the Spotless DEEP Clean and in addition to this I was to have my carpets and hard wood floors cleaned for a grand total of $800.00.  I was told that my hardwood floors would gleam and the minor spots in my carpet would be lifted out with the equipment they used for carpet cleaning.  I was so excited and relieved because I thought I had found a company that would do a quality job without me having to stand over them.  Especially since I was told they would do a quality check after the crew completed the job to make sure it was done correctly.   <br /> I scheduled the cleaning service for Wednesday, June 6 and made sure that the company would have access to the house.  I called ahead of time to confirm that the Spotless Staff would be able to do their work with the painting contractor, and I was told that it wouldn?t be a problem because they have other jobs that require them to work around or with contractors.  I was very clear that I wanted every thing done so I wouldn?t have to deal with movers, cleaners, and painters on move-in day.   <br /> Upon arrival at my new home, the first thing I noticed was the same DULL hardwood floors (maybe a bit cleaner, but definitely not gleaming).  I made a mental note to contact the company and was willing to call them on that later until I began opening my kitchen and wet bar cabinets where I found dust bunnies, dead lady bugs, food crumbs, etc.  This immediately deflated my confidence in Spotless Cleaning.  I called the company and told them what I found and they sent a crew out that day to clean the cabinets.  However, I kept wondering what happened to my quality assurance check, and I kept wondering what else hadn?t been done.  I went back and forth about whether or not to write this review but felt that as consumers who have worked hard for our dollars, I wish that I had paid more attention to ALL the reviews for this company instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt.  Especially after I found other things that hadn?t been done well, if at all.     <br /> Even my grandmother and my husband wondered what ?cleaning? had actually been done.   <br /> The only bright spot about Spotless Cleaning is that I didn?t sign a contract with them for continued service.  At the time of payment they did take $50 off for the floors but I felt that they could have done more if they were interested in keeping me as a client and for the inconvenience of having to come back on my move-in day (exactly what I wanted to avoid from the very beginning).  It was painfully obvious that the only thing they were interested in is getting more than they deserved for a service that was mediocre at best.

Well. They really helped me get my home ready for sale and help me get my new place in order during a very busy time. After the home sold, I didn't need the service anymore, but I would easily resume service with Spotless. Do make sure you let them know about any problem areas or special areas you want cleaned (e.g. don't assume they know your house's secret hiding places for dirt). Do speak up if something is not done to your satisfaction. Do enjoy the time you don't have to spend cleaning!!

We used Spotless Cleaning bi weekly for 8 months, but we had to cancel their services because they didn't have the same people coming all the time.  Some would come and do a good job, and at others would not do the job as well.  We would not use them again in the future.

"Dear Future Customers, It is unfortunate to receive a D rating from a previous customer whom we have not serviced since May 28, 2011. As a company I can only say, it does not matter how hard you try to please someone but sometimes going above and beyond is just not good enough. However, as thorough as our cleaning specialist are, we are human, we can and do make minor mistakes but it does not justify an attack like this over an incident that happened almost a year ago. To get the record straight, we parted ways with the customer and refunded the last cleaning performed due to the unprofessional attitude, rudeness (ie: cursing the crew members for being 10 minutes late, threatening our company reputation, and lastly providing this unnecessary D rating on this website. Our only downfall from this customre was our punctuality and as far as quality goes our company even agreed to wear shoe covers or no shoes to honor one of his many request. Our cleaning specialist are licensed, bonded, insured, professionally uniformed, courteous and a company should expect the same professionalism and courtesy from a client as well. We have performed over 2,000 DEEP CLEANINGS alone. Lastly, we take pride in our work and we have many customers we have been cleaning going on 3 years now. We would love to have all of our customers for this period of time but there comes a time where you have to defend your crew and company from an unprofessional client. We needed someone to clean the home we had just purchased prior to our moving in.  Spotless Cleaning did a "move-in" or deep clean and they did an excellent job.  I think there were two crews in our home for a few hours which resulted in a very thorough cleaning (bathrooms were impeccable, outside and inside all appliances, on top of cabinets, door frames, baseboards, windows..etc)!  Stephanie was great to work with and the staff was very professional in our home.  I can't say enough good things about the staff or this company...they will even clean your home for free once a month for four months if you are a Cancer victim/survivor!
