Wow. I wish there was an A+ rating! Great experience from start to finish. They were quick to schedule the estimate, gave me time to get other bids, and then when I was ready to schedule they were amazing at communicating every step of the way. Workers were professional, fast, and thorough. Blown away and can't recommend them highly enough! <br />

<p>I simply cannot say enough about how happy I was with this service. I will certainly use them again and recommend their work to anyone.</p> <p>We have many mature trees that require frequent trimming. There are Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Crape Myrtles, Elms, Yaupon, and Japanese Maple. Over the years I have used several tree services, with mixed results.</p> <p>I heard about S&P from neighbors who were very pleased with their work. I requested an estimate. Jesse came the next day. I was very impressed with his professional manner and the courtesy he showed me. The estimate was fair so we made an agreement.</p> <p>The work was completed easily in one day with a large crew. Jesse was available throughout the day to make sure the work was being done to my satisfaction. The crew arrived on time and got right to work.  It took less than 3 hours to get the tree down, chopped up and stump ground.  Then they put dirt in the hole where the tree was and put down St. Augustine.  Very impressed with the job they did and how well they did it.  They also let my yard very clean, there was no indication of the tree being removed except the fresh healthy grass they put in and all the mulch in my flower bed, which saved me money! <br />

S &  P arrived on time with a crew of 8. They removed 2 cCrape Myrtles & one 30 yr old Live Oak that was 3- feet tall. The Crape Myrtles had to be dug out of the ground around a built in soaker system The crew did a great job. The Live Oak was in my back yard between the fence and the house, They cut it down and then used the grinding machine to finish the job..PERFECT!!! <br /> They trimmed 4 other Live Oaks and a Chinese Tallow. PERFECT!!! <br /> Cleaned up everywhere the worked, very professional and polite. It was obvious at you spoke to Jessie, the foreman, and watched the crew working that there had been considerable training on trimming trees and safety. <br /> I would definitely  use them again. <br />

I worked with Johnny from start to finish.  He called me back about an hour after I sent the request to get an estimate.  He came out to my home after I was off work. He looked at what needed to be removed and stated they have all of the equipment to complete the job so it takes less time. <br /> The team arrived on time and Johnny was present at my house to make sure the job was started correctly.  The trees/stumps were removed and grinded up into mulch.  <br /> The price was reasonable and Johnny was each to work with in regards to getting the job completed.  I called Johnny on a Monday to say that I was going with S & P to remove what I needed moved in the yard.  The crew was out to the house on Tuesday morning.   <br /> If Johnny can get a customer in sooner he will try. <br /> <br /> <br />

I had previously contacted several tree service companies (including arborists)  for quotes/estimates regarding removal of a very large silver maple from my front yard.   Prior to this morning, I hadn't found the right priced deal with a company that I felt could do the job.   My brother brought a fella by this morning and he provided a written estimate of  $1,100 ... however ... they were already working in the neighborhood so it would be reduced to $900 if they could do the work today.  There would be no additional charges for taxes, stump grinding, hauling off, dumping fees, or insurance.  They are bonded and are on Angie's list.  They did not ask for cash or a deposit ... and would accept a check or a major credit card.   All of these points were what I was looking for.  We made the deal at 9:30 am.   They arrived at 12:30 pm.   Before they started working ... I asked how much more it would be to do the work in the backyard.   They said an additional $100.  I was very satisfied with the revised quote and a revised deal was made.   They arrived with 8 men .. 3 trucks .. 2 stump grinders .. and 1 chipper truck.  It took a lot of climbing, roping, chain sawing, pulling, stump grinding .. but .. only 2 hours to complete the job.  They were amazing.  They avoided disturbing my neighbor's fence, yard, plants/shrubs/bushes/trees.  They also were able to manipulate 3 very large limbs from the top canopy away from the hydro wires.  And, they didn't block traffic except for the very first limb that extended into the street when it came down and with all 8 men chain sawing it into sections and carrying it to the chipper truck ... they had that cleared up in less than 5 minutes.  They were very polite and a very hard working professional team.  All of their equipment had their company name, logo etc. painted on it (including the trucks -- not those removable magnet signs) ... and all of the equipment was in good working order.   They cleaned up front and back perfectly.   Now there is a big open area of beautiful blue sky in front of my house (facing north).   Their name:   S and P Tree Service.   They are listed on Angie's list and are setting up their web site at: Tree Service Dallas | Dallas Tree Removal | S&P Tree Service.   ( sandptreeservice.com  )   They are a family owned business (father & son - Santos & Johnny Perla) and have been in the business for 25 years.   They are local with their office in Grand Prairie (469) 789-6775 - and - Johnny's cell (469) 789-6778.     I will not hesitate to use them again when I need trees &/or bushes trimmed/removed.   <br />

They came out and did a great job. We had no problems with them.

They arrived, quickly removed the two smaller trees and stumps, leaving the area as clean as when they arrive. <br />

They arrived on time, brought a big enough crew to get the job done quickly and completely.  They were careful to clean up afterwards and made sure nothing went into my neighbor's yard. <br />

My experience with S & P Tree Service was good. Their prices were good.

They did a very nice job cleaning up. They are a member of the ISA and are liscened, insured and bonded. They were very polite, professional, on-time and equipped with all the proper safety equiptment. They did a really nice job. They gave me a free estimate before I even hired them. I had estimates from a few companies and chose SP because Johny seemed very competent. His crews worked well and made sure I was satisfied with job before they left.
