Company did not meet original scheduled installation date; rescheduled twice. Overall installation was "okay". Gutters had many leaks near corner junctions and downspouts were installed incorrectly.

Replaced windows in house with Alliance Hawthorne Vinyl windows with Argon Gas and Low E Glass with a Lifetime Seal,Frame <br /> and Glass Breakage Warranty. These windows are poor quality and most have been replaced twice within 5 years. Square Deal has been called four times to have bad windows replaced in the past three weeks.We were told every time, that someone would call us back to set up an appointment.No one has ever called back to do so.I strongly suggest no one deal with this company because they are not reliable. <br />   <br />

The job went very well- folks were there, got the work done, and it was done professionally and well. <br /> David provided excellent oversight and follow- through, and pictures were provided in advance of additional work being done. <br /> Debris was removed and property was left in excellent condition post work. <br /> Highly recommend this company- communication and feedback was timely and frequent. <br />

Work was done on time and very professionally.  The only negatives were failure to remove debris from roof that came from upper gutter that was replaced.  Also, and this is my fault in not communicating properly, an elbow that I requested to place downspout against wall of house was positioned too low.  Square Deal has promised to fix both problems. <br />

The outcome is all I had hoped for and more.  The contractor was concerned that I was satisfied with the job before he would take payment.  There were add-ons in cost for unexpected problems (ie, rotten support columns) and my need to add to the job to make it complete (ie replace doors) but no changes in the cost that were not agreed to by me.  They even repaired a few things (ie my back screen door) without charge.  The experience with this contractor could not have been better!! <br />

I spent about $12,000 with them and they've been very good with their work.

We have been using them quite a bit ad it's all been quite positive. The last time we used them was 3 to 4 months ago. They were really good. Any little stuff we needed straightened out they straightened out for us. Most of their work was right on. We also used them a year prior to our last dealings with them. The last time we used them we spent about $15,000 and $18,000.

They did an excellent job.  They arrived on time.  They cleaned up scraps, cigarette butts, anything that would detract from around the house.  Pleasant to work with.

They did a very nice job repairing the trim. <br />

As a former installer, the salesman was very experienced and knowledgeable, and able to recommend an aesthetically pleasing and viable solution to a problem drainage area. He was also able to clearly explain the problem with the load on the existing gutter and the reason increasing the slope even more was not possible due to a slight curvature in the roof 's edge. So the salesman made sure there were no 'surprises'. <br /> while the work was impeccable, and there were no added costs or other surprises, there are two areas I see for improvement: 1) worker language and 2) scheduling. <br /> Regarding the first point, during the execution of the job, the helper evidently lost his temper and went into a screaming foul-mouthed (f******, etc.) rant for several minutes. I heard this from inside my home, as I'm sure did my neighbors, and any children who may have been at home during the summer. <br /> Regarding the second point. The office staff calls to schedule work the very next day. This is OK as my schedule was pretty flexible, but I had to turn down the first scheduling call. I was able to accept next day scheduling the next time they called. <br />

The project went well from start to finish. Salesman was prompt, responded quickly. The installation crew did as well.

The service and responsiveness was quite professional.  Very little if any interruption.  We would definitely recommend Square Deal to friends and family. <br />

I used them last in 2006 and they did a good job. I actually had used them once before and that may be several years before. I had them replace some windows with double pane windows in another house and they did well. This time I used them after Katrina and it was very hard to find a roofer. I had to talk with them and they said, "we will call you back in two months." In the meantime, I could not find anybody else. So, they called me back and I had them do the job. I was happy with it. I would like to give them a good recommendation. They came in do to the job in early 2006. It took me maybe three months to get them to come, but I tried everybody else also. You know 80% of the houses here were underwater after Katrina and there were all kinds of work to be done. So when they told me they would contact me in two months, they did that and then they came. So that was better than anybody else was, and I was pleased. The one reason I called them was because I worked with them before. There were at that time questionable roofing companies here as there was so much work to be done. It was a positive review and unusual because of the situation after Katrina and that they did not say well we will come right away or anything, they said in a couple of months or so and they did in fact do that. I spent approximately $7000-$8000 on the roofing job, and for the windows job before this I think probably somewhat less than that, may approximately $5000 or so. So, I have two experiences with this company. I would give them a "A-."  The reason I am hesitating is that I had asked them to be sure about flashing one roof in the upper part of the house, and that leaked a while later and they would not fix it, so I had to do it. So that is going to be the only negative thing and for that I would give them a "B."  Otherwise the job was good, but as they say that was disappointing I think that they just did not pay real attention to the flashing, as there was a leak along there. I would use them again in the future if I would need them.

Salesperson arrived on time, very professional, gave estimated and answered my questions.  Gave me a list of jobs they had done so I could drive by and see the quality of wowork they did.  r

This is a nice family run company.  They are responsive and priced competitively.  They stand behind their work and came back to fine tune the gutters post the 1st big rain after installation.  i would recommmend <br />

The rain guards look really nice and they keep the leaves out. They did a really good job.  I didn’t have to be there and they took care of everything.  They answered any questions I had.  I felt the prices were very reasonable.  The rain guards came with a warranty. 

I chose them because of the price and they specialized in siding, unlike the other company.  I liked everything they did. They were very thorough and the owner spent a lot of time going over the job.  He wrote up the estimate right then and there. I had checked with the manufacturer of the product I was putting on the house and they were the recommended installer in the area.  He presented me with a little brochure with a list of references of the jobs he had done and showed me the insurance certificate, the contractor's license and workman's comp certificate.  Normally I have to ask for this information and he provided it without asking. They also had a high rating and I liked his approach.  Initially, he left some samples with me and checked back with me a couple of days later.  He came back again and went over by detail what they were going to do and what they weren't going to do.  They showed up on time and cleaned up every day after working, so there was not a lot debris spread in the yard.  I have a small yard and they were very conscious of working on the neighbor's property to do my siding, so they asked the neighbor's permission, even before I got there to ask them.  They made sure that everything was cleaned up and their walkway was not obstructed in any way.  They were very conscientious about how they worked.  It was a good price and they were excellent in quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism.  I would definitely use them again.
