Central A/C - Install
We had an old system (attic fan coil for central AC in an old house with radiators) that needed to be replaced. They did a good job of sharing the options with us and installation was done efficiently, cleanly, and with good communication. We have used Standard Heating and AC for ongoing maintenance and will continue to do so.

They are great about sending reminders for my tune-ups and all of their techs are great at explaining everything they do when the come. Today I had Connor who was a gem! The technician arrived on time to tune up the air conditioner. He gave me a friendly greeting and agreed to wear a mask immediately. He asked about the cat to make sure it would be safe (!). He asked about and listened carefully to me about how everything has been working (Standard installed our boiler and maintains it also). As usual, the technician completed his work efficiently and professionally. He explained everything before leaving and left the work areas neat. Standard is so reliable we joined its maintenance program years ago and will continue to call Standard for all our heating and air conditioning needs.

The whole process from Quotation to order acceptance to installation and product overview was absolutely the best. They brought in stair runners and floor runners, they cleaned up. They were very polite and listened to our questions. All work and functioning HVAC equipment by approximately 3:00PM, the same day. Just a class act.

Everything with Standard went well. The salesman explained work that would be performed and the cost. Our household has a Gold Membership with Standard for our furnace. This year's annual maintenance went smoothly and professionally. The tech arrived during the agreed upon window. He put shoe coverings on before entering the house. We discussed that we had had no problems during the year and that if it appeared that the filter needed replacing, I had one that the tech could install. He worked quietly and quickly. He said if I wanted, he had a humidifier pad that he could install. I noted that I would do it independently at a later time. His written report noted that there were no issues and that all should be good with the furnace for another year.

As always, Standard’s service was excellent. Ross was kind and helpful in answering my questions. As a Rewards member, it gives me peace of mind to know that my furnace (and AC) are tuned up each season, for a very reasonable monthly membership fee, and Standard is at-the-ready should problems occur.
