Had Stanek windows and patio door installed approx. 15 years ago. Patio door was getting a little difficult to slide open and close. Called Stanek, they sent technician, Cory, out and within 30 minutes he had door operating good as new. Our Stanek windows are great and good as new.

Great work. On time and professional. Only had one window that stress cracked. They come and repaired it no problem.

We are going to use them again.

They quality of work was very good.  The price was fair and the install went well.

We shopped around and the price was very reasonable. We like everything about them. They have done all of our windows. They do good work and they are personable. They clean up very well after themselves.

The windows were double pane windows and there was clear vinyl in between the glass with UV protection. These windows were very quiet and we could not hear anything outside. They did a nice job with the installation and their prices were great. They worked well and did a really great job.

Getting the quote from Stanek Windows went ok. They wanted me to go with the higher quality windows. Their product was good and their salesman was good, it was just too high of a price for me. 

The entire process was excellent.  Doug Lippitt, the sales rep, provided a complete description of how Stanek Windows are made.  He exhibited the effect of several levels of insulation in the windows with a heat lamp.   <br /> After the sale, Doug was very attentive to assure the delivery and installation was done on schedule.  The installation process went very well.  The installers arrived, removed the old windows and installed the new windows.  The old (original) windows had hardware that I wanted to keep.  The installers removed all the hardware for me. <br /> The transom windows were replaced during a renovation project.  Because of the tight timing, Doug Lippett worked very hard to have the windows delivered and installed on schedule.  This took a lot of his time to ask the factory to speed up the window building process. <br /> Other contractors have noticed the doors installed by Stanek.  I have gotten a few comments about how well the doors were installed, and, door installation is not an easy thing to do - especially in an old house. <br />

Everything went very well. They could not have been more helpful from the salesman to the installation. We are happy with their service.

They were fantastic. They were so neat and efficient.  The windows looked like they were original.  The salesman was very straight-forward and honest in explaining how the process would go.

Pretty much ideal repair and administration. <br /> Get him if you need window repair and know little about it. <br />

They did agood job all around. If I needed them again in the future, I would use them.

Very straight forward, quoted the project and then after 3 months, I decided to go ahead with the project.  They honored the orginial quote and performed a great install.

This is our third set of windows from Stanek.  We were excited to replace the windows in our upstairs office, as it was either too hot or cold.  Stanek retired the previous design of their windows, so we had to go with the newer version.  The newer version has pluses and minuses, but overall the windows are solidly build and perform quite well.  They made our office/guest room much, much quieter and more comfortable to be in - so we are very pleased on this account. <br /> The window installers do a good job of putting down protective cloths and vacuuming up after installation, so that is a big plus.  The repair folks need to do the same, as there were shavings/trimmings afterwards and I picked up a splinter in my foot. <br /> With each set of windows we have purchased (we purchase 3 to 5 windows in each set), we have had issues with installation.  The first set was a bowed sash and lower sill, and poor operation.  Stanek was prompt with the repair, but could not do much, as they did not want to put a screw through the bottom of the sill for fear of allowing a water leak.  The operation was fixed and has been good since the repair.  The window evened out over time, so no obvious bowing now. <br /> The second set of windows had screws in each of the sills and many of the screws were above the level of the sill.  Stanek, again, was prompt in the repair and seated the screws and caulked so water could not get in.  I was worried about a long term maintenance item, but they have held up for about 4 years without a problem and perform quite well. <br /> With this set of windows, the vinyl sashes were scratched from the factory.  I called our salesman about 10-minutes after the installers left to complain.  Stanek was again very prompt in coming out to look at the windows and attempt a repair.  However the scratches were too deep, so they could not repair - we speculated with the service person that the raw materials or manf. process was causing the problem.  About a week later, Stanek replaced the vinyl on our lower sashes.  The replacement sashes still have some scratches, but less frequent and more minor so we are ok with them.  I polished/buffed some of the scratches out on one side, so may polish/buff the others out of the top and bottom sashes - but I hate to spend the effort on a new product that was quite expensive Our previous windows were not scratched like these.   We have also noted a few bubbles in the glass on these new windows, along with some glass shards inside the window sticking to the interior film - they're small, but noticeable on a clean window in the sun.  We may have Stanek come out to look at these.  <br /> - Overall the newest set of windows turned out ok and have made a huge difference in the room. - We believe they are worth the investment. <ul> <li>- The windows perform quite well and are of solid construction.  </li> <li>- Stanek is very responsive to any issues and we are confident that they will make things correct in the end.  </li> </ul>  However, I would like to have the windows right from the start, without having to call and complain, take time off for a service call, worry that the windows are not going to look good or perform well, and that I made a bad decision/investment.  <br /> We still have four big windows to replace, so  would we use Stanek again?  The answer is a maybe - we would have to be confident that the new windows would not have the scratches/defects of our last set.  Fortunately this will be a few years off, until we can save up more for the final four. <br /> <br /> UPDATE - Stanek very promptly and curtously replaced the lower sashes on all three windows.  These were in much better shape.   I still think that they need to check their quality control at the manf. facility.  You might want to inspect the windows before they pull out the old ones.

We bought four windows and they installed them. We have replaced over the last three years three sets of windows in various locations of the house. The house is very big. They came up clean as a whistle. They did everything they said they were going to do and better. They were a little cheaper and the service was just as good ad Anderson or Pella. I would use them again.

They tore off the old siding rapped and sided our entire home.  The two installers were here about 2.5 weeks and were very professional and helpful.  Worked with us to make sure we were involved in every decision and turned out great!  From estimate to installation, we enjoyed our experience and were very happy with the results.

They were competitively priced, professional, timely installation, quality product and they had, un-pressured sales.

They did a great job and I was happy with the outcome.  Their price was very competetive for tyhe quality of work they provided.  I would recommend them to others in the future.

They did very well. They did a very professional job. It was neat and clean, which is hard to find these days. They were expensive but they were in competition with the other top of the line companies for expensive windows. They even vacuumed when they were done.

Went to showroom on a  Sat. to look at displays, met salesman and set up appt at our house after work on Tues. evening. Vic was punctual and prepared. He was a little too folksy trying to make a connection with us as we were already sold on the product. The agreements were signed (12 mos same as cash finalized it) and barely legible receipts were left with us. We purchased 3 entry doors, 1 Picture Window, and 1 patio sliding door. The next few days we were suffering buyers remorse and called the salesman a few times  to clarify details that we were unsure of. A few days later somebody came to measure the the doors and 2 days later somebody to measure the picture wind. It took another 3 weeks but we received a call to set up the install. It turned out that the doors were installed by a different crew that the window/patio slider. Both were scheduled on the same day. Both called and let me know that they were on their way. The doors were installed in 2 days by a 1 man crew, the large windows/patio slider were installed by a 2 man crew taking 1 day. <br /> <br /> We were very pleased with the install and the quality of the products. We are making plans to replace another 15 to 21 windows in the house and will definitely consider Stanek. At around $800 a window we have to make sure this most recent install is paid for.
