Beware. We hired Bryan Greenhaw in August to add a master bathroom to an existing room after we initially hired him under the name Southeast Chimney in June(and had a great experience) to complete chimney work. All of the positive and fantastic reviews you see are from when he operated as Southeast Chimney alongside TeamElite of Marietta. What should have taken only 7-14 days (according to other quotes we acquired) is still incomplete. He was starting out on his own as a contractor under the name Stark Construction and we wanted to give him an opportunity. [Side note: He is NOT a licensed contractor; only LLC] After giving him half of the quoted amount, he had plumbers come out on the first day [8/18/18] and he didn’t even personally come to the job-site. That day was a disaster and nothing was completed; only an uncentered shower drain that’s not even with the floor that has to be redone. He then showed up to start electrical and put so many holes in the ceiling that we had to replace the ceiling as it was stipled and he told us it would be too hard to match. He’d then show up here and there and continuously gave us the run-around. We kept asking him to just please communicate with us. He told us that he was waiting on the floor guy, so we ended up handling that to move things along. More and more stalling. The last weekend of October some plumbing was done. He then stopped responding to phone calls and text messages. Hardly anything was completed and here we are 5 months later in January and the bathroom is still not finished because he abandoned the job. Furthermore, DO NOT let him conduct any electrical work in your home. What he attempted to do resulted in what most likely would’ve caused a house fire. We knew he was not a certified electrician, yet he assured us he was capable and we stupidly allowed him to add three LED can lights and an LED strip to the closet. A breaker for that room kept tripping. The new contractor we hired found many severely notched up wires and melted wire caps where he had created arcing. It has been quite a headache and disappointment. Most of what he did has to be redone and trying to find a contractor to come in behind someone else’s “work” has proven to be quite a challenge. "I appreciate the review as it will help others most certainly. When I installed the wiring there wasn’t any issue. Now months later you have a tripped breaker and issues with wire nuts. I did not unhook the lights and I did not mess with anything after initial install. You explained to me how you are difficult and I should have listened to that and walked away. Finding a contractor willing to work in that environment was both pricy and also difficult. My original business partner (who was the plumber) turned out to not be a good fit and I discovered that after allowing him to do the plumbing you mentioned. Although you didn’t allow him to leave and we ended up working until after 10pm on your plumbing and then going to fix my truck so I could go home which you were aware of and did not care. Although you did care to try and covert him to Christianity while we were there working instead of allowing us to work. Communication was an issue between us as I needed time to adjust to problems and find solutions and if I did not give you answers immediately you became angry and accused me of abandoning the job. Everything you accused the previous contractors of and accused me of came to fruition. This is true in work as it is in society. When someone tells another individual enough times that they are doing something when, in fact, they are not, it will eventually come to fruition. I could have allowed second rate contractors to work in your home but thankfully I did not do that. That was communicated and thought to be understood. I later found out it wasn’t understood and saw the pattern of nothing being good enough for you so I decided to cut ties. I quoted $7,900 for a $15k bathroom to be nice after Team Elite turned out to be a scam and I had to walk away from them. I should not have taken on your project. Im sure you are happy to have another contractor you can bad mouth like you did about every single contractor you’ve had before other than the floor guy who came in $500 more than others. I learned a lot from your project and have implemented a better process of what jobs we take on and what jobs aren’t a good fit. We were not compatible and I hope you and your family grow from this experience rather than hold onto it for as long as you live there."

The chimney was cleaned but never inspected. He was supposed to return to fix the chimney and never did after setting up two appointments. I would not hire again.

I thought the two technicians were nice. However, if I had it to do over again, I would have asked them to show me the current condition of the chimney prior to the cleaning. That way I could have seen a comparison of before and after. Following the cleaning, they advised me I needed work done on the chimney because I had some missing mortar; however, I was not told just exactly what it would take for a fire to break out with missing mortar since my chimney is surrounded by a brick wall until it gets to the attic. Their estimate for doing repair work was several thousand dollars so I will check with other companies before I choose who should do that work. The main reason I was disappointed is that the price for the cleaning was about twice what it should have been compared to their competition and higher than a promotion they were currently running on their website when the work was done. And, the $319 price would be the same if I was on a regular followup schedule with them. For me that was a real turnoff.

Best service at a great price! We had first had an inspection from someone else whose price seemed way too high. We went to Bollen's Hearth in Breman, GA to find a new fireplace insert and they recommended Bryan. Bryan came and gave us a price 1/3 the previous people. Always showed up on time and installation was beautiful. His work is as if he was doing for this own mom. We love our fireplace and will be using Bryan for years to come for cleaning.

My first appointment, scheduled three weeks in advance, ended with a no-show by the technician. When I called to reschedule, they responded appropriately with apologies and an immediate second appointment, which took place as scheduled and went extremely well. I observed the inspection and cleaning, which included the chimney cap, wood-stove chamber, and chimney pipe. These guys did a thorough, first-rate job. I've already set my calendar to schedule them earlier next year.

After looking at gas fire place, he realized the large propane tank was empty. Unable to provide reference as to where or how to get propane tank filled. Gas fire place was left as is...
