Starlite Renovations & Landscapes

We hired Kristine at the end of August to do a remodel in my daughter apartment bathroom. Her estimate was very reasonable and she had good ratings. When we hired Kristine she said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for them to complete the bathroom. She was supposed to start the job that following Monday. When Monday came she called and said they had to finish another Job so we decided she would start the following week. When she started the first two days were great they came in and did the demo work. After that, she would call and say they would be there at 10 am and then makes calls all through the day that they were going to be late and sometimes not show up at all. I believe in the six weeks they were supposed to do the bathroom they may have worked 30 hours at most. When they did show up, which may have been a total of 8 days the entire 6 weeks they would work for 2 to 4 hours and say had to leave to go to another job because that customer was giving them grief about not getting their job done. My daughter would sit at her house waiting for them to show up and they would call with excuse after excuse of why they were going to be late or not able to show up at all, it was ridiculous the excuses they made. all this time my daughter is driving back and forth from Pittsburgh to our house to get a shower. It was over six weeks since they started the bathroom and they still only had less than a third of the work done and all the debris from the demo was on her deck and I had to pay someone to come in and remove it after I fired them. It was the last straw when she guaranteed that they would have the bathroom completed by October 5th and on the 1st of October called and said that she had a family member in the hospital and she did not know when they would be able to come back in the finish. I did not want to sound heartless but I had heard so many excuses and lies from her that this just seemed to be another one. I had already given her over half of what her estimate was but I had to fire her. Since then I was able to get another contractor and I will need to pay him not only to come in and finish but also pay him extra because he will need to redo the part of the plumbing and parts of the tile shower because it was a mess. I do not feel that they have the knowledge because the work was done so substandard and sloppy. Plus they just never showed up and made up lies about why they could not be there. I have never written a negative review before, but when I hired them it showed they had a 4.5-star rating. That was very deceiving I just do not want another person to go through what we went through with Kristine and Starlite Construction.

Kristine was amazing worked with my budget and did a million dollar job! I can't wait to have her come do more repairs when my budget is able lol but u have to start somewhere

Showed up late and did not finish the job. Then scheduled a follow-up and showed up late again. Felt like a rushed job. Cut the branch of my young pear tree with all the pears on it.

Very curtious and hard working

They did a great job. They were prompt, and their price was right.

All business right down to work showed me different ideas I choose the one I liked real nice got it done quick also cleaned up afterwards.

I hired starlite renovations to replaster and paint an entire apartment that needed some serious work and it turned out great.
