They lacked of bit of responsiveness in regard to contacting me about delays or times they would be there. I missed 2 days of work waiting for them, the first day they didn't call to tell me they weren't going to show up because the motor they ordered was not the correct one, and the second day they overbooked a job so they arrived late in the afternoon. The repair Tech however was very nice and professional. They just need to work on their customer service skills, like letting the customer know of any delays.

StarTech (Luis, Owner) was very responsive to my initial inquiry and kept in contact with me throughout the entire process. They offered a fair price for their maintenance service. And David (Service Manager) did a great job while onsite, evaluating and servicing my 2 AC units, changing filters, recommending improvements (he also took time to go service my mom-in-law's AC unit 15 minutes away). David also gave me his thoughts about the feasibility of a couple of AC projects I am thinking about and am awaiting their estimates. Really impressed with the professionalism and excellent customer service displayed by our friends at StarTech. We will continue to use them for future needs...thanks again!!

They quickly arrived once called. David diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it. They were courteous, very knowledgeable, and professional.

Excellent-very pleased with the service

The technician was approximately 40 minutes late due to going to the wrong location, a street after my last name despite texting my address to Luis. The technician was very polite but I cannot truly attest to the quality of work as I do not know what if anything was removed from my home. Everything works the same as it did before. I asked for a receipt to show the work had been done for my insurance company but the technician said I would have to get with Luis. I spoke to Luis on Nov 16, 2017, to ask that he send me a receipt, he requested I text my email address to him which I did when we hung up. On Nov 20, 2017, I tried calling because I had not received the receipt. He did not answer so I text him with my request. Today is Nov 28, 2017, and again no answer. Seems the only interest is in getting the money. Also, the phone number on Angie's List, the Better Business Bureau, and Yelp are incorrect. The correct phone number is (915)588-8035. The incorrect phone number made it difficult to redeem my purchase but I eventually found the correct phone number.

Serviced furnace and cleaned HVAC for the winter. Excellent service, Fast, clean work and let me know that part of the work could not be completed because of the weather but they will return to finish when the temp is right. If they had not told me, I would have never known. Honesty and integrity is all important to me. Will definitely hire again.

Six months ago, I would have given StarTech 5 stars for everything, and I am happy to be able to reinstate that rating. There was a problem with the connection on the water heater that ended up ruining it. Yes, it took some calls, but Luis finally replaced the water heater, for free. He is an honorable contractor.

The service was excellent. I had a little problem with the water not getting on the pads a few weeks later but they came out and fixed that by cleaning the whole thing and didn't charge me extra.

cleaned air ducts as far as they could reach in, They were supposed to use a rotating brush to go into the air duct but I saw no evidence of that, Had to point out debris being blo0wn out of a couple of openings' after they had already cleaned them.

Startech had someone out to me that same day and we were fixed and cooling again by that afternoon.

showed up on time. Did work. Reasonable price. Gave counsel on ways to improve performance. Were not too pushy with sales.

I thought that his workman had fixed the problem, but the it was still hot inside. The owner came this time and told me it may be a $450 for a connector fix or a completely new air conditioner for $6,000. I got suspicious and called someone else. The new air conditioner people put in the freon, plus the service call. So it cost me a total of $200. That is a big difference. It now works fine, no thanks to STARTECH!!!

Great service and prompt response.

The two men who came were communicative, professional, caring and did an excellent job. They checked their work before they left and made sure that I understood the problem.

They came out and did a full inspection of the unit and determined that it had no freon in it and that there was no leak. They then added the freon and made sure the unit was working properly before they left.

Work was done quickly and professionally. Startech staff was polite, well trained and knew how to get to all the vents (some required a very tall ladder) on both floors.

Luis and his crew were highly professional and efficient! Any questions or problems I had Luis handled ASAP. I am a real estate investor and can't wait to work with them on my next project, highly recommended!

The problem with them was they didn't get a permit. So I guess the price was good but probably because they didn't get a permit. Three people came out to complete the service. The work was completed in two days.  I liked the responsiveness. It was good. They completed the work on time and they were professional.

David was professional and helpful .

After cleaning & sanitizing, one of the air ducts was emitting particulates. We demanded that that the contractor return & redo that particular air duct. Also, the stand to one of the roof-mounted condenser units was obviously mounted crooked. The contractor & owner returned to correct the problem. StarTech accommodated our schedules and installation preferences & completed the project on time. However, since the installation it seems that StarTech has been nonresponsive or slow to respond to certain items of concern. Items of concern: 1) StarTech for the longest time did not provide us with a final invoice detailing the items/services purchased along with the maintenance agreement. It wasn't until the first cold weather when we weren't able to turn the heat on, that StarTech sent a technician. I reminded StarTech of the invoice & finally one was provided to us. 2) Early on, the switch to one of the condensate pumps would be stuck in the "On" position and I was concerned that the motor would over heat & burn out. My call was to StarTech went unheeded. 3) The location of the condensate pumps interfere with the routine maintenance of cleaning of the filters. When I explained this to the HVAC technician, he said that he would acquire some materials to install longer hoses & electrical cords that would allow us to safely move condensate pumps out of the way during maintenance. To date, this task has not been accomplished, nor have we been contacted. Summary: StarTech completed the project satisfactorily and accommodated our needs. The company's lack of attention to details & lack of customer service resulted with us giving the company this average rating.
