They were nice polite gentlemen. There was a couple of things they needed to fix and they took care of it when we let them know about it. Even when they had to come back for 1 thing, they were back as soon as they could. They didn't speak English well, but they used translator and figured out what I was asking.

Sunroom or Patio Enclosure Building Service
The patio enclosure was the second project done by Starz Home Remodeling. The first was to redo the patio flooring and cover the patio, complete with matching the shingles from my home. I really like Starz because of the quality of the work that they do, the professionalism, and fairness in pricing. If you have any projects that need to be done in your home, I highly recommend Starz. Not only have they done the big jobs of redoing my patio, they have also done smaller jobs like installing ceiling fans, redoing the grout in my showers, adding gutters, and some exterior cosmetic work around my home and garden. I am extremely pleased with the work done by this company.

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
Starz did a great job rebuilding a set of outdoor wooden stairs that lead to a second story apartment above our garage. Roy was easy to work with and provided helpful answers to all our questions. Communication was strong and we were able to schedule the job relatively quickly which was helpful. The stairs were well built and we love the way they look. The only downside was that the crew hit a sprinkler line while digging the post holes. However, we appreciate that the crew let us know right away, repaired the line well, and stayed in touch with us over the coming week to confirm that everything worked properly. We’d recommend them for similar jobs in the future.

Stamped Concrete Installation
The project went exceptionally well. Great attention to understanding not only what I wanted, but with the job required. They made sure they understood what my extended patio was going to be used for so that they use the correct materials to handle the weight of the swim spa that I was planning on installing. Every step of the way was explained to me and they continuously checked in to make sure that I understood and was happy. I’m very happy with project. It was handled professionally, quickly, and at a very reasonable price! I could’ve asked for nothing more

Team did not know what they were doing, always confused. Starz overquoted and underperformed. They used nails instead of screws, causing deep holes, missing nails, loose ends, cheap, splintered wood, and deck was 50 inches tall, requested 52. There were various cuts in the wood, wood splitting, a piece of wood loose where they cut the post hole and didn't secure it to the deck. For the pool, they used regular sand, not compaction sand. The bottom of the pool is bumpy. They put the pool coves behind the uprights holding the frame firm. They had to take the pool apart to take out the coves and put back the uprights. The first time they installed the pool, it was 2 inches higher than the deck. They broke down the pool and removed sand on one side to meet up with the deck. The pool is lopsided and water is 6 inches deeper on one side. I had to pay an additional $300 for them to reinstall. The second time they installed the pool, it still did not flush with the deck. I have to redo it all.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations—our intention is always to provide high-quality workmanship and clear communication. Adi was very helpful and understanding throughout the process. We had a hiccup with receiving the quote initially but once it was received, everything was smooth sailing. His guys came out on a freezing cold, drizzling day to start with demo on a Friday and came back on Monday to finish it. Looks great. Thanks Adi!
