Statesville Masonry

Very friendly and got the job done everything looked good until it didn't. Pieces of wood falling off our deck. Phone calls and texts go unanswered. So much for the 10 year warranty! Our deck was done last March and we have been trying all this time since the first part of last summer to get them to fix it.

The project was for a Retainer wall, grading, french drain ,concrete walkway and then a sunroom. I have given the advance and paid the money for retainer wall, grading and french drain and concreet walkway. But the concree walkway is not done, grading is not done and french drain is also not done. There are a quite number of issues with current work I asked to fix is also not done. The sunroom base is done without permit and he said he obtained th epermit but country says no permit was pulled. Now for last 2 weeks he is not responding to any of my queries.

I hired Statesville Masonry & Decks for a covered patio and outdoor fireplace project. While portions of the work were started, the job was never completed despite full payment being made. Specifically, the contractor failed to relocate the outdoor fireplace to the agreed-upon location and did not cut an opening through the patio roof for the chimney, leaving the fireplace unusable. I made multiple attempts over several months to allow the contractor to finish the work. Several completion timelines were provided but not met, and the project was ultimately left incomplete with no refund or resolution offered. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

The team was hired to convert an attic space into an office. They arrived on time each day and were very flexible in accommodating our schedule. The work was done on time and for the quoted amount and met all our expectations. The build quality was excellent. We would happily use the team again for future projects.

We are very pleased with our screen porch. Joe told us up front how much the project would cost and how long it would take to complete. The workers did a great job and worked hard to make the vision we had for the porch . It was very helpful that we had other projects in our neighborhood to look at and talk to the homeowners. Overall we are very pleased with the job and the workers.

Overall it was good. We are very happy with our new living space. The project had it’s challenges and hiccups. But the team always addressed them until we we were satisfied.

Joe really communicated with all the contractors really well. Our patio turned out unbelievable, with the colors and border that Joe helped us pick to match the house. The guys that did the screen in were awesome too. Definitely we would recommend. We are very happy.

From the beginning, they were transparent with costs, payment cycles and produced a contract that we stuck to from start to finish. As we had ideas, they were open to them and were able to pivot when necessary to make sure we ended up getting exactly what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Perfect! Both men were very nice! True professionals! I would hire these two men ebery time! They are that good! I could tell in mere seconds they were both qualified concrete finishers! They were ready from the get go! They had all tbeir tools and concrete dump buggy with them when they arrived! I was completely satisfied with all work and the clean up afterwards!

Very rarely does someone come to your home, make promises to do a good job for a fair price AND then completes the job better than promised. I could not have been more pleased with the work from Joe, Tommy and the team.

Amazing job, beautiful concrete patio... everything that was promised at an affordable price. Plus on time and good quality. I only wished it was beige instead of gray, to match my existing covered patio, but that was never discussed, so no reason to complain. Thanks again, Joe.
