They use multiple methods to inform me of upcoming treatments (email and phone). The technician is always on time, and takes the time to explain the service he is providing. They have been good at amending their service to keep my one year old child safe from any chemicals. <br />

I am a realtor and would recommend this company for any real estate termite/pest inspections. <br /> They have an entomologist on staff are professional and provide a professional WBI report. <br /> Inspected home with possible infestation by powder post beetles. Determined there was no active inspection. <br /> Found inactive pest activity missed by home inspector and wrote report indicating that no treatment was necessary and <br /> gave detailed description why. <br /> There was an evident inactive infestation in new flooring. Lumber Liquidators would not provide provide on-site inspection of defective product. Called 2 local companies that would not take call, had another competitor inspect the floor verbally tell me there was no active infestation but would not document the statement without a 500.00 treatment. Yet another company told me that the treatment could stain hardware, damaging the new hardwood floor. <br /> Best of all there service price was 25% less than the inspector that would not provide a report. <br />

I made the arrangements over the phone. They came during the day, while I was at work. After work, I took a look where the nest had been, and there wasn't a trace of the nest afterwards. They followed up to make sure I was satisfied with their work, and sent me a bill in the mail. Overall, the experience was very good, and I have recommended them to several people since then. <br />

After discovering termites in a wood pile on our property near the house, we decided to not only have it treated, but get the house protected as a precaution. We reviewed several options, but went with Sentricon for their convenience and reputation. I believe Sentricon is also used for the White House and Statue of Liberty. Sentricon is not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for. <br /> After using the service for a few months or so, the termites in the wood pile were gone. We kept the maintenance plan up to the time we sold our home. State termite is one of the most professional companies I have ever dealt with. They always showed up when I had questions or concerns without hesitation. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. <br />

State Termite is fabulous. I've been her for ten years. For the first five, nothing would stop the ants and spiders. They spray four times a year and they're fabulous. I tried two others before them and nothing worked, honestly. A friend of mine told me about State. I said, "That's not going to work. I've tried two other companies. Nothing's working." They said, "Just try them." I tried them and I was in shock about it. I will continue to use them and recommend them.

They were very nice on the phone and on the job. My problem was when the ants were still marching into my kitchen 10 days after the treatment. I called them to ask about re-treating and was told that they'd return for $79. ("Follow-ups" are noted as $79 on the receipt, but for some reason, I thought that there was a month guarantee for their initial work. Mike explained to me that the only job they guarantee with one application is for bees and that ants often have 1-3 follow-ups.) I called another exterminator who guarantees all of his work for a year and is charging me the same price that I paid State Termite. I made an appointment with the new exterminator for next week.

After weighing over the confusion this may be creating , we have decided to charge one fee and guarantee the work.
