We really appreciated working with Steele Home Remodeling. His bid was comprehensive and detailed. He provided unique design ideas for our space and helped us get the most out of our basement. Phill and his team provide quality work with an eye for small details that make the project and space come to life. Phil graciously offered to move the birds' nest for us (I know that seems like a little thing, but the other contractors who submitted lower bids for the project did not make the effort to take care of our feathered friends), and then proceeded to complete all the repairs earlier than expected, and with such quality work that rest of our house feels a bit inadequate! We will definitely contact Phil and Fritz for our next project.

Phil did snow removal for me and does it for a neighbor on lake shore properties. I explained that all the salt runs directly into the lake and that he doesn't need to use so much. He said he doesn't "expletive" care he doesn't have time to use an applicator or care the has a job to do. He then used a 5 gallon bucket of salt on one small residential property with 40' of sidewalk! The rudeness swearing and lack of concern for the environment caused me to warn you about hiring Phil.

Everything about Phill and Fritz were easy which you cannot always say about working with a contractor. Work was fast, quality was excellent, price was fair. Will definitely use them again!

Phil kept in contact when the project was delayed by the weather. The team arrived on time, set up, and finished the job. Phil's bid was well done and they came in under time and budget. Pleasant and Professional. A great crew!

They did great - my tenants were very happy with their professionalism. <br /> They did some relatively minor work to a rental home that I own and do not have time to do all repairs myself any longer.  They were very courteous and polite.  I was using these small jobs to see if they were someone I would want to work with in the future - I have already asked them to replace a damaged window as I was pleased with the initial work. <br />

Work done with excellence and faster than expected.  I had ceiling lights replaced and needed someone to mud and paint to cover up the holes left behind. <br />

Service was timely and professional.  He had to support the roof over my porch while he took out the rotten post and replaced it. I had picked out a wrap for the post which he put on but then called me to talk about my options because he was not satisfied with the way it turned out.  The problem was that the post wrap that <strong>I  </strong>had picked out and purchased wasn't what I had been told it was. We went back to his original idea of how to wrap the post and stain it and everything turned out great. He made sure everything was sealed so no water could get under the post and cause the rotting I had with the first post.  I learned I should have listened to him in the first place because he knew what he was talking about from experience.  Very satisfied with his work and willingness to work with me.  I will keep him in mind for future service.

Excellent service!  I never had to wonder if my lawn would get mowed because he was so reliable.  Great job of mowing, trim and cleaning up.  Price was comparable with other providers.  Will gladly use him again this summer.

Steele was hired to level kitchen cabinets for installation of granite counter tops.  Upon removal of old counters, it was evident that these cabinets would not support the weight of granite.  They removed cabinets and built an internal structure of 2x4's and then replaced the cabinets and leveled.  Great job and well done.  Even the granite installers commented on the quality of their work.  We thought that a few spindles needed to be replaced on a porch railing system, but the whole thing was rotten.  They removed old railing and built an entire new system and installed.I like the fact that they gave me pricing options as to materials so I could make the decision on whether I used pine, treated or cedar. Strongly recommend. <br />

The problem turned into a bit of a bigger job than expected and we were under time pressure. Phil and Fritz rearranged their schedule to come to our house and repair the damage during the few days we were in town. It took them several days but they worked hard everyday until the job was done. The removed all moldy material, replaced the insulation, patched and painted the wall and replaced the baseboard molding. It looked like new. And two days after they finished, Phil got married! We couldn't believe he would rearrange his schedule a week before his wedding, but that's just what he did.  <br /> These two guys are the best. They are not only incredibly talented and skillful at so many things, they are a joy to have around. The are very helpful in making suggestions and providing options. They are always on time, neat and quiet. And they were a joy to have around. I can't say enough good things about them. I wish I could get them to move to our new neighborhood 1000 miles away!

Everything went great. Contractor showed up on time and performed the work according to the quote. I highly recommend them and will be using them again if needed!

Phill responded to my inquiry within 15 minutes.  He was on time, and plowed my driveway and all of the sidewalks on my corner lot in about half an hour. <br />

He does other things besides snow removal. I paid him for two removals, and it was $55 each. I don’t know about the blowing. I imagine he does have a snow blower. I wasn’t here when he did it, so I don’t know what kind of device he had. I think it was probably a snow blower. I've only had him twice. I don’t have anything to dislike about him at all. The quality was excellent. I have a contract with him for the entire winter.

They were on time, did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do.  Totally professional.  Totally trustworthy.  Product is top quality. <br /> <br /> A few days after the dog house was placed, I noticed a minor adjustment that needed to be made.  Steele Home Repair was there two hours after I contacted them and had it fixed in ten minutes.  They will be getting all my handyman work in the future. <br />

Phill has been working with me over the last two years. He has taken excellent care of our every need. I can expect quick communication and great work when ever dealing with him. He has been cutting our lawn along with spring and fall clean up, some seeding and mulching, snow removal in the winter and also some repairs that we needed around the house. I would recommend him to anyone that wants care and worry free services. We don't have enough time to make our lawn look the way we want but Phill makes sure that everything is always well cared for.  We will be using Steele Home Services for many years to come.
