Did a great job, working with our designer, working on time and on budget. Called to look at our bathroom - he has given us a number of solutions from a complete remodel to just doing parts to fix immediate problems and do the rest later. Always a pleasure to work with.

This was my first major remodeling project and Donny at Stellar Construction made it a very positive experience. I found Stellar Construction through Angie’s List. After scheduling an in-home consultation with Donny, he got back to me the same day with a very competitive quote. Other contractors that I had contacted took weeks to get back to me or, in some cases, never even bothered to respond. <br /> <br /> The project was scheduled to be completed in about 2-3 weeks, but actually took 4.5 weeks, primarily because of the difficulty in scheduling the building and plumbing inspections and because of the intricate tile and accent work. Having to deal without a bathroom for such a long time wasn’t always the most convenient situation for us (we only have one bathroom), but I took comfort in the fact that Donny was doing a high-quality job and was not taking unnecessary shortcuts just to save time. He made sure that everything was right or he would make it right for us. For example, I had unlevel floorboards and instead of simply tiling over it, Donny made sure that it was perfectly leveled before the tiling was done. He even personally called the tile store to complain on our behalf when he discovered that the ceramic tiles that we had paid good money for were not perfectly flat and square. <br /> <br /> Donny is very personable and easy to work with as well. He took the time to address in detail the many questions and concerns that I had and he walked me through the pros and cons of some of the decisions that I needed to make. Also, he was always accessible by phone and he provided me with daily progress updates, so that there were never any surprises. <br /> <br /> Overall, we are very happy with the finished product. Donny provided us with high quality work at a very fair and reasonable price. I would highly recommend Stellar Construction.

Excellent. I always think of Donny to get a home ready for sale, and I've given his name to others. He has also done several projects for me personally-I'd hire him again.

It was a great experience. Donny worked with our kitchen designer seamlessly, was clear on dates and times, and finished everything on time and on budget. He was very conscious of our needs - one small child and my wife pregnant with another - and how we needed to function during construction without a kitchen. He is always neat and keeps things tidy during construction. He is great at carpentry, and worked closely with the kitchen designer to install the cabinets to her specifications, including things like building a cabinet in the corner where there were no sizes to work in the space from the manufacturer. He is great with tile - installed a tile backsplash and tile floor. Handled the electrical sub-contractor and took care of the plumbing himself, and worked with the inspector so everything passed inspections and is up to code. We were trying to keep things within our budget and couldn't find an acceptable counter material that we liked until Donny suggested concrete. He poured the counters and they turned out great - the exact darkish, warm gray that I had in mind. He did a great job, and we would definitely work with him again (we have, in fact, worked with him on other smaller projects like installing new exterior doors). We highly recommend his work.
