Hired them to replace a 20 yr old gas and electric HVAC system in a 100 plus year old house. They gave me honest advice on what made sense for my house without overselling me. The install was quick and easy and when I had an issue with my hot water heater after the install they came out after 5PM and within a half hour and fixed something that I probably should have been able to take care of on my own. Highly recommend !

Sterling did my system 20 years ago, so be assured they have been around a while, and that speaks volumes. That made it an easier choice when I needed a new system. The communication was constant and everything was up front. The work was excellent, and the timing very good, considering it was the middle of the summer. You can feel very confident using Sterling for your needs.

Air condition installation went smoothly. However, they were never able to adjust the digital thermostat properly. For the first 2 months of summer season, fan ran constantly, temperature range was inconsistent. After adjusting, then replacing the thermostat 2 times, I settled on a manual type even though I prefer digital. Didn't want to void warranty so I'm reluctant to let a different contractor work on system.

Overall Sterling did a fine job. There were a few issues with permits and getting a hold of our service rep, but no drastic issue. The AC and Heating unit they installed were quality and the installation was very good.

Said what they would do and did what they said. We have a difficult job, old house. They took the time to figure out how to do the job and get Federal tax benefits too. Very pleased.
