We are formerly known as C. Sterling Quality Roofing, Inc. We are the same people and same great service with a new name. J. Sterling Quality Roofing, Inc, DBA Sterling Roofing has been in business in the State of Florida since 2012. Lic. # CCC1328645. The new company is owned and operated by second generation roofing contractor James T Sterling son of James J. Sterling, Owner of C. Sterling Quality Roofing, Inc. We specialize in all aspects of roofing: shingles, metal, tile, flat roofs, TPO, Green Roofing, chimney repairs, re-roofing, new construction and repairs. We also install attic insulation and gutters. We offer maintenance plans as well to help keep your gutters and roof clean so that you get the most life out of your roof system. All of our work is warranted and we offer warranties with up to 25 years of manufacturer backed workmanship warranty and 50 years of non-prorated material warranty. Integrity, professionalism, security....not just a roof. We take pride in our work and strive to make sure our customers are nothing short of 100% satisfied from start to finish. We are licensed, bonded and insured. We do not sub any work out, everything is in house. We also do not take money up front, pay us when we are done with the job. Our goal is to make getting a new roof as easy and painless for you as possible. When you decide to go with us, we do the rest. Most jobs are completed in 1 day, limiting the noise and construction on your home to a short period of time. We also do not use any roll off dumpsters during the process so that we don't cause any damage to your driveway. We make sure to protect the grounds of your home while the job is going on and we provide all proper documentation upon completion, including all releases. They've done three roofs for me in the last two years. The house that I'm in now they did. Sterling has done this home, one of my rental homes and my sister in law's home.They had between 10-12 people working on this particular house. I think they did it all in one day. They left it very clean.They were all wearing safety harnesses. I point that out because this house is basically a three story house. Those guys were working 30 - 40 feet in the air. It's amazing a bunch of my neighbors have had other roofers out here doing their roofs and you don't see those guys wearing safety harnesses. I was here while they were doing it, I was laughing. When they took a break, they guy from the crew said I saw you watching us and I saw you laughing at some point shaking your head, what's the problem? I said the safety harnesses. He said yes sir, that's for the heights if we fall we could get seriously hurt, a company requires it. I said I'm happy to see that, I wasn't being condescended in any way shape or form. It's just it's just a requirement and I've never seen another company follow that requirement.

They made special provisions for us, they scheduled us in ahead of time because they knew we needed the roof to be done in a hurry because we were closing on the house.Will was great, he really took time with us. They were professional, they were thorough, and skillful in what they did. They did a really great job!

Greg Barr is the Re-roof manager for Sterling in Jacksonville and he was excellent.  He got up on the roof, measured...got a feel for the issues.  In selecting the color of shingle, he gave us examples of other homes to drive by and view.  He got us on the schedule, told us the crew would be here on Tuesday at 7:30 and they were.   <br /> The crew was made up of 10 men and these guys were pros.  What has taken some companies a week or 10 days to do comparable homes in our neighborhood, due to the large crew and professional crew, these guys were done in a little over 2 days.  The roof is beautiful.  Makes our 25 year home look brand new. <br /> Another thing we appreciated was the daily cleanup of the work site.  No trash blowing around.  And they use a trailer for the old roofing materials and shingles which is towed away when filled.  They control that so you are not dependent on a dumpster company's schedule. <br /> We could not be more pleased and recommend Sterling highly. <br />

They were also certified with their material, which ensured a longer, upgraded warranty. They were proffesional, on time and punctual. They did the job in a timely manner and had everything done by the end of the day.

It went well in the beginning. The work itself was stop and start because the individual doing the work was delayed on other jobs. It was supposed to be a 2-3 hour job and ended up taking about 2 days to complete. Once the individual was here, all was well. It was more a scheduling issue than anything else. <br />

It took a long time to get anyone to want to repair our garage roof. Zack was the only person who gave me an honest assessment as to what needed to be done. It took a while to get on the books, but they did a great job. They removed all of the old roof, replaced the decking,repaired some of the rafters and replaced the roof. All was done in a day. <br />

It went very well.  They put tarps down over all our shrubbery.  When taking off our old shingles they were very careful about putting them in the waste container.  They didn't just throw them off the roof.  Our new roof looks beautiful and our yard is very clean.  In fact our lawn maintenance contractor was very impressed with how they left our property. He was expecting nails and debris left in our yard but we haven't found a nail yet. <br /> Zach Terzo from Sterling worked with us from the first estimate, to the installation, to the final cleanup.  He and his team were very professional and did an excellent job.  We have already recommended Sterling to our neighbors. <br />

Excellent job.  All work completed on schedule and the site was cleaned up each day.  It has rained for seven days since the roof was done and we have had no issues. The pitch of the rear roof has really improved the rain run off.  I would recommend Sterling to anyone looking for roofing work. <br />

From the first time I contacted C. Sterling Roofing, Jimmy Sterling was very helpful and responsive.  Jimmy was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions that day and even via email or phone during my bidding/research process.  He was the only company to offer me a release of lien without asking with his quote.  On the day of the planned work, his crew was very professional, courteous, and efficient.  When others said the job would take three days, C. Sterling did it in just one!  They were mindful of my property and plants taking extra care to leave everything as they found it.  At the end of the job, Jimmy took time to answer any questions and do one final inspection himself.  He also provided a package including all permits, release of lien, quote, invoice, and a CD with pictures of all manufacturer labels of the materials installed and the actual installation.  <br /> <br /> My experience with C. Sterling Quality Roofing was very positive.  They do good quality work I would recommend them to everyone
