Steve is fantastic a true craftsman attention to detail great. Watched him make his tile layers pull up a number of tiles when he did not like how they were set. Went out of his way to make sure my fireplace project would look great picking out the granite and new style stone work. He is a little slow but once he is there he stays on the job working saturday sunday and a holiday day. he him self started about 10:00 AM everyday but had a employee of his there usually around 8:00AM. Steve is old fashioned and personable when you get to know him. Would use him again in the future. <br />

Both projects turned out beautifully, in spite of problems that Steve had to overcome with the original cheap tile. The original tile turned out to be very brittle and was incredibly difficult to remove. We had to take some detours to get to our end product, but Steve's creativity helped to overcome the unforeseen and turned out a wonderful result. <br /> <br />The second project was to remove our ruined carpet in our master bedroom and install a fantastic new product from Italy. The tiles look exactly like a wood floor. He laborously installed the tiles, using a 1/32nd inch grout line, which made the tiles look exactly like wood. A colored latex grout was the perfect finish.

He is not a contractor. He has been doing tiles for above 20 years. He is an excellent tile person. He does some designs and works with several wholesalers who recommend him. He also works with a couple of people for granites. He has lots of design ideas which we have incorporated. He is a perfectionist and a great guy to work with. He is currently working on our master bathroom.
