The total relandscapoing of our backyard was made so much easier by the professionalism of the Steven's team From owner's Steven Ricklefsen's vision, economic suggestions and flexibility to the precision work done by Angel and his team this conversion of our yard to synthetic turf was fun to watch. After the work is done there is still followup by Steveen to insure everything is fine and working as designed. When the crew came out they were professional and listened to my concerns, which was a sprinkler head not working and a couple that were leaking. They determined that my sprinkler heads needed to be raised and would fix the broken one. However, they said there is no leak. The work seemed good with the exception of a head that was not raised. However, I feel they were incorrect about no leak. In fact, I think they made it worse as I now have more standing water than I had previously and there has not been any rain. I would not recommend this company.

Steven carefully considered my wants and needs, and worked thoughtfully with me to renovate my entire front, side, and backyard at the most competitive price. He weighed and judged the best solutions for the proper replacements by new plants and several design features to create a beautiful, well-coordinated natural environment. Rock edging of several landscape beds and sprinkler system improvements were made. The hard-working crew was professional and efficient. Steven’s flexible creativity, like that of an observant and situationally responsive artist, developed the project to its neat, colorful, and pleasant completion. I highly recommend the skilled workmanship of Steven and his crew.

I sent out 7 RFQ’s. Three ‘no bid,’ four responded. While two submitted valid bids, I chose Steven because of his willing to work with me on potential changes and his promise to start immediately and to finish on time. His crew was courteous, flexible, and cleaned up completely before leaving.

I reached and requested a quote for a new sprinkler system. I have several projects going on at one time, so I was a little stressed. Steven came out the same day and quoted the job. I accepted the quote, and he started on the job 2 days later. The work was completed in three days. I love my new sprinkler system. The job consisted of 5 zones. He and the rest of his crew were extremely professional. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a sprinkler system.

Steven’s crew is throughly outstanding and very professional. Competent, confident and capable they constructed a retaining wall and pad for my new whole home generator. They did fabulous job and left me with a great addition to my backyard…functional and beautiful. I will use them again!

The outcome far exceeded our expectations! Mr. Rickelfsen was the only person out of a half dozen that we called, that ever called us back, including some on Angie's List. The crew was courteous and professional and we would definitely hire again.

Our house had an atrium with a fountain that was always dirty and full of algae. It also had a small backyard with a view of trees but no place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Ron helped us choose the right color of pavers for our house. He converted our fountain area to a small sitting area and added a paver patio to complement our back porch. His crew was meticulous in laying the pavers and now we have two beautiful additional living areas. We enjoy our new space and recommend you consider Stevens Landscaping Service for your project. Our project involved about 400 square feet of pavers but Stevens Landscaping treated us like it was a 4,000 square foot project.

The workers were excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Steven himself answered the phone and scheduled to come over the next day— super fast to give me a quote. He was on-time. He ended up fixing my broken front sprinkler swing connection at the same time; I was so impressed. He sent me a bill a few days later. I would definitely recommend Steven. I will be hiring him again in the future for sprinkler system repairs.

Miguel and Alex were excellent. They diagnosed the problem and fixed the sprinklers in as little as 30 minutes. We had some foundation work done and they had cut the sprinkler valve box lines. Alex found the lines in no time and fixed the system and it runs great!

We first hired Stevens Landscaping in 2013 for a moderate size hardscape/landscape job. Their work was excellent! "Every year since 2013" we have had them continue to make improvements from patio construction, decorative sidewalk, large scale landscaping to irrigation. It's been a multi-year plan developing our 6 acres, to include around our 1 acre pond, into a beautiful retirement home. Our daughter chose to have her outdoor wedding in the setting of our yard with the waterfall in the background surrounded by the beautiful landscaping, moving to the front yard under the lighted oak trees for the cocktail hour then finally under the stars in an open see-through tent on the acreage adjacent to the home. It would not have happened without the years of work conducted by Stevens Landscaping!

Steve showed up on time, worked outside, even though it was raining, and fixed my problem quickly for a reasonable price.

The owner was very friendly and listened to me.
