Company was responsive, even in the midst of the HUGE snowstorm.  We were told that they would be able to come the next morning, but to our surprise, they came at 8pm.  Thank you for helping us out of a very difficult situation! <br />

They service went well. I thought the pricing was reasonable and the job was well done. I had them come out while my husband was away after a snow storm. The company was pretty busy but they were able to make time for me. They cleared the sidewalk, driveway, front of the house and steps. They were very responsive and I thought it was very nice that he could fit me in.

Everything was done exactly as agreed. <br />

Steve's staff is professional, timely and on budget. I wish every company was as good as they are - they do an amazing job. You may get cheaper quotes for these services - but the quality will be no where near Steve's ! <br />

One depend on them for quality work done on time, never a problem. They are not the cheapest but they are fair. Only minor problem is in responsiveness, they don't always pick up the phone or return calls quickly. I'd strongly recommend them to any one any way. <br />

I've been using them for the past 10 years. He uses the same crew and I know him since he got out of college and started his business. He doesn't change his crew too often so the same guys come year after year. They know my property. I don't have to be here to show them what to do. I think they're reliable. They do the work. When you need to talk to him directly, he'll come out.

I selected this company due to its and quot;Aand quot; rating and it was local. The stump removal went quickly although the supervisor had to come to get the project completed. The new planting was delayed by rain. I guess it was also my fault that the backhoe (ditch witch) was delivered without the pin to attach the bucket which then wasted more time. And also my fault when the dump truck had engine problems when picking up the mulch. When it came to the final clean up (adding topsoil, grass seed, hay) they were in a major rush to make up for the time lost to the rain. I now have numerous bald spots, large weeds, small rocks, tree roots etc. all over the affected area. The original quote included 1 cubic yard of soil. As soon as they delivered it, I knew it was not enough. They added and billed for two more cubes. <br /> Additionally, I distinctly remember talking about deer resistant shrubbery. The deer now show up every day with bibs and forks to enjoy whatever is left of the plants. I have tried spraying the shrubs to no avail. I am probably going to have to erect some kind of fencing next spring to allow the bushes to grow. <br /> Overall, a disappointing experience <br /> <br />

My experience with them was good. <br /> <br /> I guess I liked pretty much everything so far, I have no specific likes or dislikes, it is just a good service and helpful. I felt that their prices were pretty good.

The man that runs the company is good and knowledgeable. His crew are really nice people and I trust them. The pricing is good as we had 3 quotes and they were the cheapest for the service they gave us.

We have used Steve's for all kinds of landscape projects, for masonry work and for snow removal. They are responsive, always on time, polite and just great overall. I wish everyone worked like that! We use Steve's Lawn and Landscaping for our weekly yard maintenane and also for snow removal. Their service is EXCELLENT, FAIR PRICED, RELIABLE, and PROFESSIONAL. Their crew is always here as scheduled for our lawn maintenance in the spring, summer, and fall. And this year we were battered with alot of snow and their crew has beeb great with their timely response to our house (on a route) and even come late into the night (after snow stops) if necessary. They plow our driveway which has a steep upward slope and they also clear ALL of our walkways, decks, and entry areas with shovels and ice melt. Their crew is fast and efficient. Once or twice out of more than 10 times, I believe I had to call them back to re-do or complete an area (due to new crew not knowing our property) and they came right back out quickly and completed. I RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE PROVIDER!

Beginning of the work was good, on schedule, staff was cooperative; however, as the work progressed they started making excuses to ask for more money. Towards the end of day they told me that they will need more soil as the soil they ordered wasn't enough. I reminded that agreement was for the "defined job" and it was their responsibility to bring enough soil and if it wasn't enough, I should not be asked to pay extra. Nevertheless, I relented and paid extra to get the job done. Real issues started when I started chasing them to replace plants that had died within warranty period. They simply ignored the requests. Upon lot of follow-up their office promised that they have issued a work order (in August '08) but again there was no action until mid-October. I wrote again and they found an excuse not to fulfill their obligation. As per contract, they were to fix the lawn in side yard, they put in seeds on the patches but did nothing to replace/remove weed-like lawn. By this fall, my lawn has started showing brown patches (as weeds withered). I have a lawn maintenance and premium fertilizing contract with the same company (Steve's Landscaping). Their own staff confirmed that brown patches are due to weeds. When I asked why did they not address weeds when they fixed lawn, no response. I also asked why weeds are not removed as part of fertilizing contract, again no response! It's a nightmare to chase this company for after-sales service. They are quick to collect payment but do not care to respond on warranties and other obligations.

My grass is greener and thicker, they are very good and there are no problems. They will spread the payments out for you and bill you over a period of 10 payments, instead of paying one big bill. The $350 is for 6 months of treatments.

I LIKE THEIR SERVICE. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR MANY YEARS. THEY ARE ON TIME AND THEIR PRICES ARE MORE THAN FAIR TO ME. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHERS MANY TIMES BEFORE.
