Tony Cacioppo required $500 deposit. Cashed check. Never returned. I made phone calls, left messages, e-mailed and “messaged” him. Several times he did reply... it was always “Next Week” never returned and stopped contacting me. He also represented himself as “member “ with the BBB and member of ISA, neither company has heard of him!

Great! Very professional, polite and well mannered. They cut and cleaned every bit of the trees. A lot of my neighbors inquired about hiring them. I will recommend them to anyone.

After I first contacted St. Louis Tree Service Tony responded within 1 day. He explained he had a couple of jobs to complete pending the weather. Tony called a couple of weeks later when he was in the area, came by to provide a bid and completed the work within a couple of hours. All debris was picked up and removed from the property. My oak tree and I are very happy!

They did an excellent job! I received the quote on Wednesday and they were at the house Friday. It only took about 90 mins. He did ask for $100 more than what was originally quoted but it was still cheaper than what others quoted. He offered to come back out if we do not pass inspection. I would use them again!

Wonderful job, wonderful clean-up, did more than asked, completed very large job in 4 hours. We will use them again.

I am grateful and thankful for St. Louis Tree Service and highly recommend them. Once he finally arrived (missed the 1st three appointments due to the recent storms) he didn't disappoint at all. The other companies gave larger bids for just the Oak tree with a wait time of 4-8 weeks. Tony gave me a great deal on both large trees, started the same day as the estimate and was done in a little over 3 hours. Cleaned everything including the neighbors yards that branches dropped in. Tony and his crew were exceptional. They arrived very close to the time agreed upon and worked quickly and professionally. Clean-up was outstanding. Came to give the estimate on the day I called and showed up the next day and completed all work in full.

Was money paid - Yes, but some services were performed but never completed Tony Cacioppo, Owner/Operator of St Louis Tree quoted my tree project at $2000. Project consisted of removal of one large tree and trimming of another large tree. I paid $1200, and tree was trimmed, but the pile of wood was left in my front yard. The removal of the large tree is biggest portion of this job, which was never completed. Project completion is extremely overdue and has taken considerably longer than expected. I called and texted owner many times, while trying to be patient and flexible regarding his schedule. He was never very responsive, but did occasionally respond. He agreed to complete the job, several times. Dealing with this company has been sketchy from the start. He did complete partial work. At the very least, I am owed $200 for the work he never completed. Detailed Timeline 5/27 Owner bid $2000 for project with job start date of 5/28 and completion date of 6/1 I made $1000 payment via personal check 5/28 No show 5/29 Arrived hours after agreed upon time Trimmed tree, and agree to return on 6/1 to complete the job Owner requested $200 so he could pay his worker 6/1 No show and explained he was pulled over; Claimed Texas plates on his vehicle belonged to his wife’s car and he was pulled over because of bad plates 6/2 No show, but agreed to finish job on 6/8 6/8 No show; agreed to finish on 6/10 or 6/11 6/11 No show; I left a VM and this call was never returned 6/17 Called Angie’s List and spoke with Izza. Owners’ assistant called and assured me he would complete job on 6/22 6/22 Owner sent text saying due to storms he would not be able to complete job until 6/24 6/24 Owner said he would come to my house after he stopped to pick something up I contacted him late afternoon, as he did not show up He said he was not leaving current job until that homeowner paid him I responded that he must show up after he was paid to finish my job No show 7/16 No calls or text received as of today

Trees were cut down and stumps removed in about 8 hours, everything went well and no issues that I saw. They cleaned up and asked me to inspect their work, which I did and saw no problems and they left.

They were very easy to deal with. Performed all the tasked that I requested. They were polite and friendly. Explained how to care for tree and keep it healthy. Were faster than other tree services that I had hired in the past. Left the area clean. Was happy enough with their services, that I asked for an estimate on another tree that will need attention in the near future.

Tony and his crew did a great job. He was prompt and very easy to communicate with. Our tree was down within a week of my call. He was also willing to be competitive in terms of price coming in under other bids, which was great. We had them leave the wood which they cut to firewood size and left on the provided racks for us to split. The yard was in a great shape too! No damage to the lawn at all. Tony also offered a fertilizer treatment for our pin oak that is part of the street canopy for a great price. My neighbors got theirs done as well so we got it a great discount and free dead wooding this May. I'm hopeful for the results!

I had 2 large oaks and 2 smaller trees that needed trimmed. He did great on the 2 big oak and got them done when promised, but had to come back the next day to finish the other 2. Then he didn't do them as we had discussed. I asked him to come back and he said he would, but it took him at least 2 week of me bugging him constantly before he finally made it back to finish the job. And while it is now acceptable, I am still not 100% happy.

They did good work. The price was fair. They were nice to work with. Two large dead trees were removed with little to no damage to surrounding landscape. They cleaned up everything before they left. We would call them again to do this type of work in the future.
