Stone Age Landscaping is a GREAT COMPANY to work with. Tony is AWESOME and gets your project DONE RIGHT. We absolutely LOVE our backyard patio, stairs, lighting, landscaping, tree-planting, and everything else they worked on for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Tony built a beautiful limestone wall into a hill at the front of our property. The aesthetic is as good or better than we imagined. He is a kind person to work with and we would hire him again! In fact, he will be coming back in the spring to add new shrubs and grass.

Stone Age Landscapes was very skilled and knowledgeable. They offered us lots of different design options and touches we might not have thought of on our own to personalize our patio. Tony was very responsive throughout what was a collaborative process. We love our patio, and many of our neighbors have paid us compliments on the new addition. We'd absolutely recommend.

It went well. Tony was very accomodating in helping us pick out pavers, blocks, and rock. He accommodated our budget too. The end result is beautiful--it is both modern and at fits our older house and neighborhood. Tony and the crew were friendly and respectful.

Tony and his crew did a great job on our retaining wall project. Although Tony already had a full schedule, he made arrangements to fit us in when availability permitted. His flexibility worked well for us and ultimately the job was completed earlier than if he had scheduled us into the next open slot. Tearing out the old wall footer ended up being more complicated than estimated (the old footer was significantly larger than expected) and Tony was very fair and reasonable with the charges for the unforeseeable extra work. Tony and his crew were all very personable and intent on making sure we were happy with the wall. Customer satisfaction was clearly a priority. Overall we're very happy with our new retaining wall and would gladly recommend Stone Age!

Tony was pretty straightforward and gave us good advice on wall requirements. Unfortunately our last company did not - which is why we had to rebuild.

We contracted with Tony for a major project to completely redo our backyard with landscape and hardscape features. What you can count on getting from Tony is a relentless focus on quality and doing the job right as well as complete transparency. One of Tony's specialities is understanding the nasty clay soil that is prevalent in Maple Grove - if you are curious check out his facebook page were he has posted some videos. While the additional drainage work added 4 days to the project - the peace of mind knowing our foundation isn't holding water is well worth it. With respect to the actual work - our patios and retaining walls look fantastic and the plantings bring just the right balance and look great. The wet Spring and early Summer cause a number of unavoidable delays, Tony was very communicative along the way keeping us informed on the timeline and options to get back on track. I would highly recommend Tony and Stone Age Landscapes to anyone looking for the very best in landscapes and hardscapes.

Tony was able to diagnose the problem with the previously installed brick landing right away. He offered to either redo the existing brick or to install a newer more modern paver hardscape. He guaranteed his work and for the price quoted we opted for the newer pavers. He had other jobs going on at the time but was able to squeeze us in one afternoon when he was able. The day of the job went very smooth. The site was clean and the pavers looked gorgeous once finished. Tony also noticed that the wooden fascia on two of our front steps was going bad. I'm a poor carpenter and he offered to replace them. He didn't even charge me anything more for the small job. I can't really recommend Tony enough. He has such a positive attitude and he takes care of your home just like it was his own.

We had a little confusion in our first appointment for an estimate but once I contacted him we rescheduled for the same day and he came over as soon a he could. Tony is a super friendly, courteous man with a "can do" spirit that aims to help the client in anyway he can. At the time of the estimate he was a little in demand with larger projects but he was able to squeeze me in anyway the following week. We had to delay the scheduled work day due to underground lines not being marked but Tony communicated the issue early on and came back the next day to do the job. He was one of a two man crew that came on the job day. Tony kept a the work site clean, communicated very well what was going on and went though everything that was accomplished on the work day once finished. The was still some daylight left and Tony offered to add on a spring clean-up at a very reasonable rate and I accepted. All said, I was very impressed with Tony and we have already discussed a couple small projects for the future.

Once again another awesome job by Stone Age Landscapes!! Project went great and was on time. Tony and his crew, as always, is a master at his craft. They even answered my SOS call when the irrigation company destroyed the "final grade" that Tony and his crew had completed. Would recommend him to anyone.

It was a tough year with all the rain, which backed up Tony along with every other Landscaper. None the less Tony got in and completed the work prior to our family visiting in Mid October which was out goal. Tony is very easy to work with and wants to take pride in everything he does. We will hire again when it is time to upgrade our older landscape timers( installed prior to us moving in) .

The work was well done! i was very impressed with Tony and his crew. They were very detail-oriented and did an excellent job. There were many little details that we discussed and all were taken care of. It was a job well done. Additionally, Tony is great to work with. You know he has a passion for what he does and cares about his work. Thank you! I would hire him back for additional landscaping.

Tony did a phenomenal job with our yard. Above and beyond the finished product which turned out excellent, he was the easiest contractor I've ever worked with. He bent over backwards to over-communicate, frequently solicit our opinions, and ensure that we were thrilled with the results every step of the way. It never felt uncomfortable to ask him to adjust or redo some piece of work. His small crew was equally easy to work with. It was a large, stressful project that took nearly a month with a lot of daily decisions needed and I can't imagine how a contractor could have made it any easier on us. He also went above and beyond, stopping by for several more days after the job was done for small adjustments that we needed and he volunteered to come back in the fall to help winterize some of the trees. I'm not sure what more you could ask for. I haven't done a project like this before, but based on a few other high level estimates, his prices seemed right in line with other companies and the pricing was very transparent and we were able to easily adjust the work items as we went along to meet what we were willing to pay for various tasks.

Tony did a beautiful job on the patio and egress window wall replacement. He completely understood what needed to be done to alleviate the water problem around the egress window. The patio turned out beautifully, as did the landscaping around the patio. I'm continually receiving compliments about how the project looks. The fire pit design also was very well done!

Very well. Project occurred as scoped, on time and on budget. Tony is very knowledgable in addressing clay soil issues. Project included addressing water issue at back property line, outdated design, and over grown plants and scrubs. His renderings reflected the various elements we wanted incorporated into this project, and, the end product looked very close to the renderings. Tony and team were very polite and pleasant to work with. At the close of each day during the project the work site was cleaned up, not a nuisance to us or our neighbors. During the project Tony kept us well informed on the project and timeline, nothing came as a surprise. At the close of the project we are very pleased, so are our neighbors.

They came and made our yard look alive again!! We had dead grass and the yard was taken over by lots of weeds. Tony and his crew came took out all of the dead grass and weeds from the back and front yard. Leveled it with black dirt. Put in new patio with pavers. Put in edging all around the house and put in mulch. Then they planted many new plants and put sod in both the back yard and front. They did an outstanding job. We love it so much. Also Tony went out of his way to mention some ideas that we didn't even thought about. One was to buried the drain sprouts and the sump pump which they did. They also fixed one of the cement slab from the sidewalk that had sunk a little bit. We very happy with the work and love the new yard. I would highly recommend Tony and his crew again.
