Tom and his team were efficient and professional. They got the job done quickly but with excellent quality and at a fair price. They are also really nice people. We love our new deck and plan to hire them for additional projects around our home.

Tom was amazing to work with to say the least. He was extremely transparent and communicative about any questions that my wife and I had. We had Tom build a deck for us and this was a huge project that we had been planning for over a year and he made our dream come true! Tom did a fantastic job providing and managing the subs and fitting into my schedule with my basement remodel. We threw him several curveballs during the process and he handled them professionally. He offered us several options for areas where we could save money, and he was honest with us regarding anything we underestimated. Tom is an awesome guy. He has integrity and professionalism, and wants to do things the right way. At every turn, he listened to what we wanted and made it so. He stayed with budget and timelines, which we appreciated. We loved his vision for our basement. For example, we thought an island in the bar area would be good but he suggested it would disrupt the flow and make it feel crowded. I'm glad he cared enough to share his expertise because it ended up being the right call. When we moved into a new fixer-upperish home, we hired SMD to do a variety of projects from adding windows to backyard landscaping to granite installs. We couldn’t be happier with his work! I would highly recommend.
