My deck is very large. I had painted it several times since I moved here, but it needed work again. I decided that using something more permanent than paint would be worth the money. They were able to start work soon after I decided how I wanted it done. Everyone at Stoneridge was very pleasant and helpful. They kept me informed about timelines for starting and completing the work. The workers did a great job, hauling away the old boards and cleaning up afterwards. I have received many compliments on my new deck.

We’ve received many compliments on how well our deck looks and is built. We got to enjoy it for the end of summer and it’s been great! The Stoneridge team was very informative and there were no surprises. They kept us updated with permits and let us know when they were coming. From beginning to end they kept everything clean and the only reason you knew they were here is because they left this beautiful deck. We are very pleased with the price as well. I want to say, Thank you Stoneridge for an excellent service done by James. James, took his time to make sure that everything was great as he worked late nights trying to keep a deadline for the completion of our deck. I’m so glad I had a chance to meet “James” he is very detail oriented, very professional and particular about getting the job done well. Let me not forget when he came back and took care of the bug problem, he also swept the bugs off our deck, what a great service of excellence that was provided. Thank you James!

This was an excellent project from the beginning. The scope was replacing an existing pressure treated deck with Trex and moving the steps from the center to the side. Dave (who came out to quote the job) had an excellent attention to detail and did a great job understanding what we were looking for in this project. He was very personable and answered all questions quickly along the way. James (the construction manager) was fantastic to work with from the beginning. He understood what we were looking for and was excellent at explaining areas where we had to work around construction restraints vs. what we wanted in the job. Overall, this was an excellent job and I highly recommend Stoneridge.

Absolutely terrible communication and poor workmanship. I have a contract to update my screened in porch. â 3 day jobâ started June 24 and now it is July 24. Havenâ t heard from anyone in over a week despite talking to Rob on three occasions about completing the project. Curtis stood me up for an appointment. Jay continues to ignore my communications and the original salesperson has apparently left the company. If you want a headache and a nightmarish experience by all means, otherwise, look past this company for your project needs. I take it at this point itâ s just not going to get completed.

Great company with excellent customer service and workmanship.

Work has not started, even after 2 weeks after the contract started, have not try to communicate, not verbal communication and any follow up, wrong part was delivered.

Out of the four companies we talked with for the construction of a roof over our deck, we choose Stoneridge. We found them easy to work with plus they answered all our questions and offered plans for what we wanted and at a price we could afford. Their attitude and professionalism has been great. I will update my review when the work is completed but I have no doubt things will go well.

Get someone in the customer service department that you can call on with questions and or issues if they should arise. After this review, the contacted me and everything was fixed to my satisfaction.

They arrived as scheduled, got my small deck finished in a morning and did a great job. They are busy, so expect to schedule at least a month ahead.

Contracted 23rd April 2019. Today is 28th August 2019, and the old shower is torn apart and project incomplete. Poor customer communication.Still not complete as of 4th September. Only workman on vacation for 2 weeks. It is now 19th September and they had ordered the wrong shower glass for the side. More weeks to wait. We started using the shower on 21st October. On 23rd October it started leaking. Damage to the 1st-floor dining room ceiling. Servpro is on their way tonight to repair. House a mess.TRS failed to properly cut the opening to install a rubber connector for the drain line. They also failed to tighten the drain line and water was pouring out of the drain. They attempted to hide the issue by wrapping a sheet around the rubber connector. It is 26th October and TRS has not come up with a plan to repair their damage to our home. They promised a plan by today. My wife is sick with frustration. A representative stopped by this AM without notice and left after 42 seconds at the door. I was on the toilet and my wife is bedridden.

What they did was to turn our carport into a summer porch. They were patient, efficient and practical. We're very pleased with our new room.

They do not stain what they will put down but tell you up front.

So far, everyone I have dealt with has been excellent. They have made this project so easy and they were very experienced with my type of project and the age of my house.

We hired TR to build a workshop addition to our house and I am basing this review on four criteria: Keeping within budget, quality of work, professionalism of workers and completion of project within projected time frame. There were issues and problems with all four of the criteria. In initial discussions we were assured that Total Remodeling (TR) knew HOA/County requirements and in the event that there were any modifications of the design due to HOA/County restrictions they would be responsible for any cost increases, or either side would be able to cancel the contract. The county required a different type of foundation and TR initially wanted to charge us $5000 more. We declined and requested to cancel contract, they then said they would split the cost, we declined and requested to cancel contract again. Finally they agreed to absorb the cost - ok - good business. But then the subcontractors came in. Manny and his crew were horrible. I had asked that they please sweep up the nails and close the gate when they left for the day as we have 2 children and 2 dogs. For the first 4 weeks of work they did not sweep and left nails on the ground and the gate open. I even found razor blades and saw blades left on the ground. Their work was sloppy and failed multiple county inspections. Even after we pointed out missed insulation they did not correct it, they put a nail in our window frame, did not measure the stairs, window frames or sheet rock correctly and had to be asked multiple times to redo their mistakes. Finally, they did not realize my husband understands Spanish and after badmouthing us in Spanish we asked that the crew be replaced. The next crew was better but still did not finish the job. TR was supposed to leave the addition "paint ready" yet they did not finish plastering over nails and seams, did no sanding to prepare the room for painting, and after 6 weeks of asking them to fix the screen door that Manny's crew ripped - have still not fixed the screen or put the crawl space door on. The initial completion date was supposed to be May 4. There was about 3 weeks of delay due to weather and HOA/County requirements but it is July 7 and it is still not finished! More than 2 months of delays because the workers continue to make mistakes, fail inspections, do not show up to work and are really, really sloppy! Finally, we are giving up on them completing the work and my husband spent yesterday and today plastering and sanding. I am still hoping that they fix the door situation and put the downspout on the gutter...

Very accommodating to my changes. There were a few hiccups but end result was worth every one.

The project really hasn’t started yet but the project people have been wonderful. Starts August 18 or there about.

They started the project without getting the permits from Spotsylvania County. The project then sat in my back yard for two months before they started working on it again. It did not turn out exactly as nice as I wanted.
