We had a good experience with Stoneridge Outdoor Living all the way from the salesmen David Selk to working with Stephen Sears and his team. Stephen was very helpful with getting HOA approval. I enjoy the sunroom immensely. Stoneridge turned my plain, empty porch into a very functional room that I immensely enjoy.

We had an amazing experience getting a seriously botched JES job fixed by Stonridge Outdoor Living. I wont go into specifics about how HORRIBLE JES is, but Stoneridge came to our rescue. Our sunroom had 4 joists that were not connected to their external band board and our room was dangerously sagging. The plywood and insulation underneath was visible; the room was drafty & cold in the winter and hot in the summer... and our sliding glass door would hardly lock, always leaving a gap when not locked. The attached composite TREX deck that JES cut holes in was a disaster. Again, Stoneridge to the rescue. Gorgeous new composite TREX deck we can be proud of, 3 new piers under the sunroom and double 2x12's giving us support to last a lifetime. The room is level again; the sliding glass door closes without a gap with the push of 1 finger. It's like a brand new house. We have had such a bad time with contractors, we had lost hope. Pedro & his team, Stephen our PM and Austin our Salesman/engineer restored that hope. Great people/Great professionals. Thank you so much Stoneridge. You have earned my trust and thanks. For those reading this, you are in great hands with Stoneridge. Rest easy!

There are not enough good things I can say about our experience with Stoneridge. We had a three season room added to our new home and the crew was wonderful. In spite of the inclement weather, they cheerfully worked together. They were polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves everyday. Jay, Stephen, Austin, Clark and Brad were amazing. Stoneridge has my highest recommendation.

Our experience with the deck resurfacing and renovation at our Richmond VA home with Stoneridge outdoor decks and exteriors could not have been better. We were very pleased with the contracting process, the workers, the job oversight, and absolutely every aspect. Our deck is close to 800 ft.² so it was a rather large project of resurfacing using Trex and making it all one level rather than having step downs and step ups. Stephen Sears was the project supervisor and Kenny Adams was our sales consultant. Absolutely positive experience with both of these gentlemen. The workers persisted through inclement weather, completing the job on time as scheduled and are to be commended. We have nothing but positive comments regarding the whole experience.

Good quality work Bad: Higher pressure sales process than competitors Bumped into my mailbox, and I had to replace Left ruts in my lawn where materials were dropped that I need to repair.

They repaired the deck and designed a shed roof awning to give us shade. Installed a fan & light. Great to work with.

These guys were great. Very professional, worked fast, and they were able to do all the permits themselves. The only thing we had to do was let the HOA know.

Contract sign October 27th and I was told that day it would be completed by April 1st over the las five months I kept reminding them of the April 1st, and its not done.

Gene, Clark, Lee and PM- Jay worked great as a team. About 30ft of windows- with slider installed within 4 days. Work site cleaned up after each day. Quality material was used. And cleaned windows when completed. Great job guys- very professional.

Out of the four companies we talked with for the construction of a roof over our deck, we choose Stoneridge Outdoor Living. We found them easy to work with plus they answered all our questions and offered plans for what we wanted and at a price we could afford. Their attitude and professionalism has been great. I will update my review when the work is completed but I have no doubt things will go well.

Curtis, our project manager, was great! He was responsive to our requests and concerns â very easy to work with. I thought he managed the varied trades necessary for the building of our sunroom well. The whole project went smoothly after the county finally issued the building permits. I would definitely recommend Stoneridge and would use their services again â especially with Curtis as the project manager. And, Curtis had a crew clean up after all construction was done leaving us with a sparkling new sunroom. Thank you Stoneridge!

I don't have the finished product yet but they are very thorough in figuring out what you need done. Looking forward to the finished product.

Get someone in the customer service department that you can call on with questions and or issues if they should arise. After this review, the contacted me and everything was fixed to my satisfaction.

They arrived as scheduled, got my small deck finished in a morning and did a great job. They are busy, so expect to schedule at least a month ahead.

Contracted 23rd April 2019. Today is 28th August 2019, and the old shower is torn apart and project incomplete. Poor customer communication.Still not complete as of 4th September. Only workman on vacation for 2 weeks. It is now 19th September and they had ordered the wrong shower glass for the side. More weeks to wait. We started using the shower on 21st October. On 23rd October it started leaking. Damage to the 1st-floor dining room ceiling. Servpro is on their way tonight to repair. House a mess.TRS failed to properly cut the opening to install a rubber connector for the drain line. They also failed to tighten the drain line and water was pouring out of the drain. They attempted to hide the issue by wrapping a sheet around the rubber connector. It is 26th October and TRS has not come up with a plan to repair their damage to our home. They promised a plan by today. My wife is sick with frustration. A representative stopped by this AM without notice and left after 42 seconds at the door. I was on the toilet and my wife is bedridden.

What they did was to turn our carport into a summer porch. They were patient, efficient and practical. We're very pleased with our new room.

They do not stain what they will put down but tell you up front.

So far, everyone I have dealt with has been excellent. They have made this project so easy and they were very experienced with my type of project and the age of my house.

We hired TR to build a workshop addition to our house and I am basing this review on four criteria: Keeping within budget, quality of work, professionalism of workers and completion of project within projected time frame. There were issues and problems with all four of the criteria. In initial discussions we were assured that Total Remodeling (TR) knew HOA/County requirements and in the event that there were any modifications of the design due to HOA/County restrictions they would be responsible for any cost increases, or either side would be able to cancel the contract. The county required a different type of foundation and TR initially wanted to charge us $5000 more. We declined and requested to cancel contract, they then said they would split the cost, we declined and requested to cancel contract again. Finally they agreed to absorb the cost - ok - good business. But then the subcontractors came in. Manny and his crew were horrible. I had asked that they please sweep up the nails and close the gate when they left for the day as we have 2 children and 2 dogs. For the first 4 weeks of work they did not sweep and left nails on the ground and the gate open. I even found razor blades and saw blades left on the ground. Their work was sloppy and failed multiple county inspections. Even after we pointed out missed insulation they did not correct it, they put a nail in our window frame, did not measure the stairs, window frames or sheet rock correctly and had to be asked multiple times to redo their mistakes. Finally, they did not realize my husband understands Spanish and after badmouthing us in Spanish we asked that the crew be replaced. The next crew was better but still did not finish the job. TR was supposed to leave the addition "paint ready" yet they did not finish plastering over nails and seams, did no sanding to prepare the room for painting, and after 6 weeks of asking them to fix the screen door that Manny's crew ripped - have still not fixed the screen or put the crawl space door on. The initial completion date was supposed to be May 4. There was about 3 weeks of delay due to weather and HOA/County requirements but it is July 7 and it is still not finished! More than 2 months of delays because the workers continue to make mistakes, fail inspections, do not show up to work and are really, really sloppy! Finally, we are giving up on them completing the work and my husband spent yesterday and today plastering and sanding. I am still hoping that they fix the door situation and put the downspout on the gutter...
