Chris completely remodeled our kitchen with all new cabinets, countertop, backsplash, interior painting and appliances. He is a perfectionist who takes much pride in his work. His attention to detail is amazing. He takes the time to study and understand the project up-front and will interject any thoughts or concerns he has based on his extensive experience and knowledge. He will make creative recommendations if any in-flight modifications may be needed. This all results in a successful project that is exactly what the homeowners dreamed of. Chris was patient and sensitive to our requests. He always cleaned up at the end of each day. He also gave us a heads up when the renovation was going to get a bit noisy, which was especially helpful in our work from home environment. If you have someone doing a month-long project their personality is a key component to consider and Chris shines through on this. He is an engaging person with a pleasant personality and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Chris as both a skilled craftsman and a wonderful individual.

I am very pleased with the outcome of our newly remodeled bathroom! The bath tub was replaced, new plumbing was installed as well as new tile work. Communication with the contractor went well.

I am impressed with the quality of work, and the experience exhibited by Chris. I had an idea of what I wanted done, and in conversation with Chris, we devised an esthetic and clever plan. My home is 170 years old, and nothing is standard. I try to maintain the integrity of the property without overspending. I’ve lived here 30 years, and I found Chris 12 years ago. Since then, he is the only contractor I need to call. Always responsive, and helpful. In addition, a year ago, when I had my home evaluated before my total knee replacement, it was suggested that some work be completed to make my home more user-friendly and safer. I contacted Chris, and all was completed before I returned from the surgery.

Chris did a great job of gutting and remodeling a kitchen and bath of an old apartment. He was able to keep the cost down and still make both rooms look new. He is able to see past some of the obstacles in remodeling a very old apartment and make the bathroom and kitchen look great.

Chris is especially good with new products versus traditional ones for different projects. He knows wood inside out. I have a historic home and he's the only carpenter I use. He recognized some old wood as denser, so better than new wood, and thus sanded it well versus replacing it. He's now remaking the doors on my kitchen cabinets, from particle board to solid wood.

Chris Carroll was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He obtained a building permit within a week of accepting the job and was on site 5-6 days a week for 8 hours or more each day. With his team of 2-3 others, he personally oversaw every detail and frequently consulted with us to make sure that the work was done to our specification. Treating our job as if he were remodeling his own house, he also gave us many creative and helpful suggestions that improved upon the architect's original plan. Chris is honest, communicative, fair in pricing, timely in completing stages of the work for inspections, neat, and was mindful of our children's safety while the job was in progress. We felt very fortunate to have found Chris through a friend's recommendation, and the room turned out absolutely beautiful--even better than we envisioned it. Chris's expertise in carpentry and his pride in maintaining continuity with the original home inspired a bead board motif throughout the space within the ceiling to floor shelving, mudroom bench, and mission style radiator cover. The colonial windows' deep ledges with beautiful moldings were consistent with our original downstairs architecture. His estimate for the job was significantly lower than the other two estimates we obtained, and he came in on budget. We look forward to his starting on our next project and certainly will hire him for any future projects, as well as highly recommend him to any of our friends.

Excellent! Chris is fabulous. I first used him a few years back for remodeling a bathroom in my condo and he has remained the first person I call for just about anything related to the unit. I cannot say enough good things about Streamline Remodeling. They were EXCEPTIONAL! Chris and his team did an excellent job from start to finish. I had a difficult job for him and he handled it all without a wrinkle! I picked out very difficult tile to work with, and knew that it was a painstaking task. Not only did Chris handle it without a second thought or complaint, he was amazingly creative in the design of the tile layout and finish! I threw changes at him mid-job and he handled it all without blinking. I had a vision of what I wanted my bathroom to look like, and he made it happen. I can't say enough good things about Chris and Streamline Remodeling/Design. His price was reasonable and he worked non-stop to get the job finished in a timely manner. I cannot say enough good things and would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable cost. The first project we used Streamline for was a basement remodel. We had a dark and dingy basement that prior to us waterproofing it, had water damage, cement floors and walls, broken stairs, etc. Chris from Streamline met with us a few times to make sure he fully understood our vision and then he went to work. Over the course of a few weeks, he turned what we referred to as the "dungeon" into a bright and beautiful space. He suggested a small build out for my husband's office and it turned out to be the perfect work area for him. Chris did everything - from soup to nuts. Electrical, dry wall, ceiling, windows, doors and trim new stairs, built-ins cabinets and paint. He even suggested that we move a steal beam that sat squarely in the middle of our space so that the space was open and without obstruction. He brought in an engineer to draw up some plans and make sure the work was done safely and was structurally sound. We were so glad we did this. The basement was intended to be the kids play room but we ended up spending a lot of time down there hanging out as a family. <br /> Before taking on a major kitchen remodel, Chris also helped us think through our decision to buy a new house in the town we were living in. Thanks to his urging, we decided to sell our house and ended up finding our dream home. Chris helped us get our house in order to sell and immediately got to work on the new house. He gutted and remodeled our guest bathroom, replaced the majority or our baseboard trim and crown molding, painted several of our rooms and offered lots of tips and advice about how to save money along the way. He also took a dull brick-faced fire place and turned it into a beautiful center piece for our living room - with stone tile, carerra mable hearth and a custom built mantel. His work is amazing. <br /> Chris is our go to contractor. We trust him implicitly and know he has our best interest at heart. He stays within budget, communicates and shows up when he says he will. His prices are very reasonable and his work is excellent. <br /> I highly recommend Streamline. Chris is currently remodeling our master bath and I wouldn't feel comfortable doing a construction job without him at this point. <br />

Overall-Chris and his team were fantastic. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was always on time and the upfront estimate was exactly right-no hidden fees etc. He is a great guy, his team was phenomenal and I would absolutely hire him again!!! His attention to detail is only matched by the quality of his work (added crown molding to the DR ceiling-looks fabulous). He has an engaging personality and very easy to work with! . Chris gave us the price, but also the upfront timing-which was important to ensuring the work would be done in the near future. He and his team cleaned up every evening (which was gravy for me) so there was no dust when I got home- I could actually still cook during the renovations. I love my new kitchen! <br /> Chris also provided a lot of great suggestions on how to improve the look of the kitchen by simple things my hubby and i can do ourselves ( how to build our own kitchen island). Contractor Chris Carroll, the Owner of Streamline Remodeling, is great to work with - these projects were completed because of his super patience and guidance as we live in NJ, and our condo is located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Chris showed us sample projects he had completed in the building so we could get fresh ideas on what we might want, and it's wonderful to visually review transformations that he had previously done. He is a person that can be trusted, and his experience is invaluable because he often suggested ways to accomplish our end goals that we did not know in advance, and he has finished projects within specified timeframes as promised. He has hired competent assistants, but he does a lot of work himself, he is very hands on overseeing the entire details of the project. We were very pleased with the end results of all the three remodels and other projects finished. Chris's pricing is fair, and he has kept busy with numerous projects in the building to complete because of word of mouth of his phenomenal excellent quality, not to advertising. We have used his Company for all renovations, to date, and will continue to do so. <br />

Streamline is an excellent choice if you are remodeling. Chris (the owner) is awesome. He has been remodeling houses for over 30 years. After getting numerous quotes ranging from $45k to $65k from other service providers Chris came in, priced out the work and came in way below everyone else and within my budget ($35k). He's got a crew of guys who were very professional and took pride in their work. I have zero complaints about the quality of the work performed. <br /> The job took a little longer than anticipated but that was to be expected when I changed the scope of the work (the original quote of $31k did not come with all of the window trim and getting rid of the Hollywood style bathroom door situation). Chris takes the time to tell you about any issues that come up and offers suggestions on how to fix those issues. <br /> I can't stress enough how great Chris and his team are (Ivan, Eric, and the rest of the team). I recommend him to everyone who asks about remodeling. I plan on using him in the future to remodel my kitchen. <br />

Roofing: clean, careful work. Area adjacent to home totally clean. Polite. We worked well together. Chris was thorough explaining the work to be done, cost of supplies, and labor. Was willing to carefully recreate and fix the antique garage door damaged caused by a snowplow. No short-cuts. Maintained integrity of the antique door. Respects the maintaining of craftsmanship. We couldn't be happier with the addition. We live on a property by which commuters pass frequently, and we have consistently heard that our addition is wonderful. In fact, people say that it doesn't look like an addition at all. The interior and the exterior look like they've always been a part of the house. <br /> Chris is a wonderful craftsman, and generally a great guy. When you do a major project like this one, you essentially "live" with your contractor, so it's great if you can get along. Also, the crew Chris employs is professional. Chris is responsive and easy going, fully committed to doing the job right to make sure we are happy with the finish project. Naturally, we changed our mind several times along the way, so it's great that Chris can go with the flow. <br /> We interviewed several contractors for this project, but selected Streamline Remodeling, since we worked with Chris before to refinish a basement and other bathrooms in the house. Shortly after the project was completed, my brother-in-law who is a contractor in another state was visiting and commented on the quality craftsmanship. <br /> We would hire Chris again in a minute. I first hired Chris in November of 2012 insisting he had a 2 week window to complete a bathroom remodel. He completed it in the 2 weeks. I next hired him for a total kitchen, hall, and a small bathroom. That was in spring of 2013. I was able to continue living in my condo as Chris and his workers did a wonderful remodel Then in spring of 2014 he returned to do over my master bathroom. I am very happy with all the work, and continue to recommend him to friends. His suggestions are valuable and his expertise is the greatest. <br />
