The initial meeting was terrific; our sales representative was professional, friendly, and very solicitous. However, once the carpet and flooring were ordered, our install dates were changed and the installers were not happy about moving our appliances (although we were told it wasn't a problem by the sales dept). Communication from the Sales Staff to the Company was poor. Had to make multiple calls to the company to clarify issues.

Carpet Max was prompt and responsive. Customer service was excellent. Their prices were great for carpeting our bedroom.(We did not have a huge selection of carpet choices, but we are very satisfied with the style and color) The installation was fast and done on time. We also had laminate flooring installed in a small room. It looks great and the service was excellent. We are moving soon and will not hesitate to call Carpet Max again.

Communication issue with the installer, and they did a rush job on the project paying little attention to detail and over-nailing the molding. Still have outstanding concerns and have not heard from the install manager in over five days since making our concerns known. When we pay for such a big job, we expect better service. John on the sales end was great and knowledgable, but the install end gets a big "F" Overall, we did not have a good experience and would not recommend CarpetMax to anyone.

The installers arrived on the day and time agreed to with CarpetMax. There were two people, and the man that headed up the job was a true professional and expert at installation. There was a slight glitch regarding a trimming that Ihad mentioned upon scheduling the job that was needed. CarpetMax wanted to charge me another day's fee for a trim thatI had mentioned was needed for the job, and which they didn't bring, nor had they told me what to get ahead of time; but after speaking with the CarpetMax Rep and explaining the situation and that I had mentioned this trim on the day I scheduled the job, it was resolved w.no add'l fees. Great job!

We ordered hardwood floors and new carpet for the stairs. The floors turned out nice but they were going to leave the debris behind even though removal was part of the contract. The carpet installation was a disaster! They measured the area incorrectly, the installer didn't come prepared to install carpet on stairs and the padding under the stairs is bunching up. We're going to rip it out and replace it. NOT USING Carpet Max probably local carpet dealer. Communication between the owner Vick and customer service is poor.

Carpetmax were great. I had Empire Today come and they both gave me estimates for the same job. Empire were horrible, they didn't know how to measure square footage and their quote was more than double what Carpetmax was. While Empire could have done it quicker, Carpetmax was a good value and professional.
