They rushed my job on a Friday afternoon. When I started to ask questions about the quality of there work & items that had been missed per the contract the forman was rude & condescending. They sent someone back to take a look at the original job and he confirmed that it was not done properly & they have had issues with that Forman being rude to customers in the past. They came back a second time and sent the same crew & Forman even though I was assured it would be a different crew who proceeded to be rude and condescending to my wife. She finally had to ask them to leave. This issue has since escalated up to the owner of Stroberts. He said the individual was terminated based on this issue and others. However, they wanted to come back a third time. I told him at this point I just want my deposit back. He then threatened to take me to court unless I paid them in full and they would not be returning to fix the job based on principle alone.Ive never experienced anything so unprofessional

Extremely poor experience - as someone who worked for this company & reported directly to the owner, I can say based off of my personal experience that in my 20+ years of working, never have I seen a company with this poor of a setup across all areas. From my experiences being very close to the business, I witnessed many actions that were extremely unethical, both related towards employees & customers. As a customer looking for tree work, here are just a few personal concerns I have with Strobert compared to other businesses (can?t speak on some of the worst ones here): - insanely high pricing, 3x to 4x what many other companies price for the same work/service - poor customer experience based on my experience from working here, witnessed 100% turnover, making it rare to have trained/educated support, leading to poor customer svc - unethical behaviors (won?t list them all), but for ie: promoting discounts, but never actually providing a discount, prices are raised to offset discount

The tree crew showed up Friday morning and went right to work. They were very efficient and did an excellent job reducing the overall size of the tree, as well as, shaping it. The tree now looks as it did from years ago. Interacting with them was very easy. Great Job!

Fantastic. They came on the day promised. They work fast and left no evidence that they was even there. And they did the work under the amount I had budgeted for the project. I will be bringing them back to perform some more work on my tree.

Scheduling was extremely difficult. I was very impressed with the crew, the work they did, and their professionalism and efficiency. However, they left before completing the work specified in the proposal / contract. I've called and written about this, and received no response.

I made a big mistake by taking the word of a neighbor without reading the reviews of Strobert. Had I done so first, I would have saved a significant amount of time as there are many bad reviews. I called to schedule a quote for a significant amount of work in my yard on numerous trees. It took about 3 weeks for someone to come out, but it was late summer so that didn't surprise me. The estimator, Bill, was prompt, polite and very knowledgeable and provided a quote before leaving. I signed the contract, gave them a 30% deposit and was told it should be about 3 weeks and they would call the day before scheduling. After 5 weeks, I reached out to check on the status multiple times but received no response. After 6 weeks, I reached out to the owner, Andy Strobert and Wanda in their office and Wanda apologized. I finally heard from the sales person who stated he was very far behind with calls. He put me on the calendar for the following week and confirmed with me. My husband took the day off so he could make sure no vehicles or any of his equipment was in the way. Needless to say, they were a no show and never called. I called the office and they always dodge calls and have the answering service take messages. I sent an email demanding a refund and had to still follow up with them. Bill stated that he spoke to Andy, they definitely screwed up and Andy would be calling me that afternoon to discuss and apologize. That was a week ago and I'm still waiting. The only prompt thing they did was issue a refund within 24 hours of my demand. I wasted over 2 months time and now need to start the search all over. Save yourself the headache and move on to someone who cares about their clients and knows how to communicate!!

The estimator came two days after I called, which was sooner than any other service I called. Gave me a price and said they were booked three weeks out. Gave them a 30% deposit to seal the deal. The crew arrived two weeks later. All five trees were taken down in 2 hours. The tallest, approximately 100 feet, required a boom truck. After taking the trees down and grinding all the branches, they raked the yard clean. All that is left are the 16 foot tree trunk logs, which are neatly piled in the back yard. Still waiting for the second crew to come and remove the logs. They have not billed me for the remainder of the price, which I assume will be done after the logs are taken away. Overall very happy with the job.

Tree cut down

They did a great job. Showed up on time and went over what we wanted done. They did a great job and cleaned up everything! Were very efficient and courteous also! I would highly recommend them!

Strobert was terrific! We had three dangerous poplars in a tough part of our yard to access. They were courteous, professional, and completely competent. They took care of reseeding and care for plants they could salvage. All heavy logs were removed and they also did some stump grinding for us. Great team all around, will definitely hire again. Fair price too.
