"The pool was not opened for 3 years in a very wooded area the pool had 2 covers on it with water bags both covers were ripped in half and falling in pool any pool owner knows how hard it is to clear a pool with thousands of leaves branches sticks water bags that fell in. The Angies List Deal was for a standard pool open with chemicals, Power Vac and 6 Bi-Weekly Vacs, and standard closing was also include in this package. The weather this summer has not been typical, which weather elements play a huge roll in the upkeep of the pool. Upon removing the 2 ripped covers there was pitch black water, covered with debris tree years old. The customer was so nasty on the phone he made my staff cry I tried working with him but his comment was I paid for a service and wanted nothing to do with it once again being a pool owner with a de filter they are very high maintenance you need to back wash everyday when the pool is green he wouldn't even do that this pool needed a team work effort between home owner and me as this pool required daily attention due to the condition it started in. I was there every week sometimes twice a week pulling leaves and sticks out of the pool we would stir the pool up every time that we did it I left notes for him to call me when you can start to see bottom so we can come back vac and leaf net once again no calls from him regardless I never gave up I still went there once a week sometimes twice to work on the pool. Every time I talked to him his comment was I paid for a service and wanted no part on helping me with his disaster pool I have taken notes and pictures of every time we were there cause I had a feeling it was going to come down to this the pool package was very clear it was for a traditional opening power vav up to a hour and 6 weekly vacs and closing not to recover a pool that a customer didn't take care of. After customer discontinued service he said he his new pool company would have everything up and swimmable with in a week. A week and a half after this discontinued service I went to drop off final bill, and the pool was still in the same condition,"
