First we made an appointment to meet then mr summers helped me understand what was needed to get my job done. Really like how professional and knowledgeable mr summers and his help were. Liked how I didn't have to call anyone else to do anything. He handled the labor of the project and all I had to do was purchase my products and fixtures. Project moved along at a great pace and before long my bathrooms and kitchen were up with the times and looked fantastic. Me and my wife could not be happier with the work Summers remodeling services provided. Will use again.

I hired Summer's remodeling services in March of 2012. I work oversea's so I was not home during the repairs. I trusted Summers remoldeling in my home while I was gone. I am pleasantly surprised to say that nothing was taken or out of place. However, as a professional contactor you would think that a company would have more respect for their clients things. I had floor work done and alot of dust accumulated. The contractor says he did his best to cover my property but I have graphic pictures that tell the true story. Dust even went through my ac vents to my upstairs. I had to pay a cleaning company to come in and clean my furniture, walls, ect. You should see my electronics and plasma tv. I was very disappointed. The contractor took advantage of the fact that I wasn't home, so he worked on other jobs. That wouldn't have bothered me so much because I had alot of issues with my products from Lowes (cabinets), which caused an extreme hold up, but he seemed to want me to pay him while he was working on other projects for other clients? REALLY? What really upset me is the amount of work that was left do that could have been completed. And it was always the blame game. "Because of Lowes, because of this, Because of that". Lowes was a major factor in alot of the problems but alot of the problems this contractor could have managed but he chose to try to swindle extra money. I had been asking him to send me pictures and to paint before he put my cabinets up. Painting was part of my contract. Needless to say now I have to hire another contracter to complete the job that should have been completed through him. This contractor also tries to fast talk the customer. I really didn't appreciate that, especially since I saw straight through it like a window. He will write you a contract amount that you can agree on then try to high jack the price on you. In contracting things do change and things happen, there WILL BE some extra expenses but this contractor will try to nickel and dime you on everything he does. I have never in my life saw someone complain about the job so much, which left me thinking. "This is your job! " Everything he did was the hardest he'd ever done and therefore needed a couple of more dollars for the labor. Watch out for double charging as well. Things he charged you for in the contract, he seems to like to try to charge you again for. My final job was finished in June. It is still not 100% complete either but it was not totally to the fault of the contractor. 90% of that wasted time was with Lowes. What was really disappointing is that when I got home and I looked outside my back door 3 truck loads of trash was in my back yard, grass damaged and all. From old carpet and tile to boxes and cardboard. I asked Mr. Summers why he hadn't removed it. He told me it was because it was raining. The project started in March so I doubt it rained in Columbia everyday. I was so sick of him and the project that I told him I would have it removed. So I paid another individual to remove the debris. Did I mention it was 3 trucks of junk. I had to also make him fix items that he planned on leave looking really bad. The overall job after I took a leave of pay to check on my project turned out ok, but it was definately not worth the headache. He also told me that he was keeping track of the receipts from his purchases. Several times while talking over the phone the price of the was totalled to 475.00, I told him I would not pay until I had the actual receipts. When I received the receipts the price jumped to 780.00 Yeah right! Itemizing the receipts proved that many of the receipts were not mine and did not even pertain to the job preformed. What did he have to say about his dishonesty. " He grabbed a bunch of receipts and they must have gotten mixed in". To do it all over, I would have went with a more professional company. But it is what it is. I have  a master batheroom to remodel now and I am currently looking for a contractor.  Needless to say I would not go with this one again or recommend him.  I have pictures to prove it. <br />
