The old gate sagged and drove me crazy scraping on the walkway. It was flimsy and looked really bad. Roger built a new, sturdy gate of good quality redwood. He put attractive hardware on it to enhance its appearance. The new gate is very securely fastened to studs and opens and closes just great. Roger had done fence work for me in the past and did a great job a always. He also makes sure you are pleased with the work and is very punctual. Great job. <br />

Roger had replaced a fence for me in 2008. He came out promptly and indicated that there were three panels of fencing that were solid and did not need to be replaced - gave me pricing to replace the 7 sections that were in need of replacement. Once the contract was signed, he and his helper removed the old fence and set new metal posts. The following day he installed the new redwood fencing which looks great. They did a great job of clean-up, were very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Roger and his crew did a great job of removing the old fencing and storage shed and also setting the new metal posts the same day. The following day they were on site early and installed the new fencing per the agreement. The work was very well done with good quality wood and metal posts that will not rot out. I was very pleased with the work which was done promptly and efficiently and the overall appearance is great.

Roger was involved from the very start. He would start the day out with directions for his crew and be there for the critical parts of the deck construction and did the most exacting work himself to ensure quality overall. He made frequent inspections of the overall project. He had good suggestions to update the look of the deck. His crew was prompt, neat and showed up everyday except for some rain days. The yard was left as neat as possible every evening. Early on in the project we discovered a major unanticipated drainage problem requiring more extensive reinforcement of the lower deck planters using keystone blocks. He was adaptable to solving that problem and gave me a fair price for the extra work.

First impressions are important! As the home owner, I was sure I had selected the right contractor. He was prompt in responding to my request for an on-site inspection of my deteriorating deck and providing a free estimate to replace it. They started within a month and the job was completed as planned. Throughout the construction phase, I had daily conversations with the crew and enjoyed a compatible working relationship. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed immediately. Pride in workmanship was apparent and very much appreciated.
