Daniel gave us an estimate on work, was great to work with. everyone at Summit were professional, friendly and polite. The guys that installed the fence did a great job, when they left everything was picked up and cleaned up. Love our new fence. Would work with again and recommend to anyone!! Excellent work

I hired Summit Fence in Acworth to put up 61 foot of 6 foot dog eared privacy fence and they charged 2,200. I paid an extra 200 for a "dedicated repair team" to do repairs to my white picket fence out front. They left two gaps in the back fence, used 2x4 wood that was splattered with grease or some oily substance, left my white picket fence out front looking like the wave pool at Lake Lanier, put my new spring on the wrong way, then put a black spring on a white fence which created a mess. To top if off they poured out their concrete washings from the bucket on my driveway and didn't rinse it off and walked all over my spider grass plants with complete disregard as you can see in one of the photos. When I asked the workers to fix the front picket fence the correct way they acted like I annoyed them. CJ Camp who promised they would make it right contacted the owner who then said it would be another $475 to fix the fence. What a scam. Privacy Fence Installation

Very good and dependable

Everything went well until after the fence was installed. They put the fence up in one day which we were thrilled about at the time. Unfortunately the main gate that we use has been an issue since shortly after the install. I don’t know if the posts did not have enough time to set up or what the issue is, but that gate does not correctly. We called the company to have the fence issue addressed and they sent a crew out to do the work but they simply moved the placement of the gate hardware. The issue still persists and now they are not returning our calls. I get that companies have busy seasons and other income producing work has to been done, but if they cannot see projects through to a satisfactory completion I cannot recommend them. Disappointed as I have always done well with Angie’s List companies.

It was a great experience. They cane out the same day I first spoke with them, had a written quote that evening which was a very fair price compared to others I received. Installed the next week.

This is an end to end review in my dealings with Summit Fence of Acworth. In April of this year, we contacted Summit Fence for an estimate for which Daniel D. promptly came out. We were impressed by not only their almost all positive reviews on many review sites but their knowledge as well and therefore selected them to install a fence for us. We selected an aluminum fence which they estimated at 214ft and worked with our HOA for approval and subsequently scheduled the install on May 23rd. The morning of the install, the installers showed up on time, took the time to walk through everything that was going to be done, and proceeded to install the fence. With regards to the installers, they were great, courteous and did a great job overall. Normally, I would end my review here, but what happened next greatly changed how I view this company. As the install was wrapping up, I went out to the installers to drop off the check for the remaining amount (minus the $1000 deposit I paid weeks earlier) and noticed there were several panels still left on their truck. Now I understand it is normal to have excess material for when a customer abruptly changes their mind and adds to the order, but none of that occurred here. I asked the installers if they installed 214ft or was it less to which they replied, it was 7ft less. I then asked if I pay the entire amount and they return the overpayment or do they adjust it to which they called into the office. The person at the office texted them back a new amount that was $147 less (so my math being $21 per ft) that I in turn paid. After the installers left and after a brief downpour of rain (lucky for them), I still didn’t think I received the footage I paid for and measured the fence three times and got 193ft each time. The next morning on May 24th, I emailed Daniel to explain, and he agreed to come out and remeasure. The next day he came out and measured 197ft (not going to argue 4ft, but is much less than what I paid for), and said he would have the office return the overpayment. On June 14th, having not received any further correspondence from Summit Fence or a check, I reached back out to Daniel to which he responded the next day saying he would find out what is going on and get back with me. He did not. On July 11th, I emailed Daniel again explaining that it has now been 7weeks and no resolution to this and I asked to speak with the Owner. On July 13th, Daniel called and said that he thought it was squared away and apologized for the miscommunication then proceeded to say that they already accounted for the new footage on the day of the install. I then explained to him that on that day it was believed the footage was 207ft, not 197ft, to which he stated that there was no price difference between the two. Daniel then stated that Summit overpaid me $1.52 (he chalked it up to an inconvenience fee) and stated that they could return the scrap to me (I am fuming at this point as I never asked for the parts back). After explaining to him my position, he agreed to speak with the owner and reimburse me $210 (the $21 per foot amount times the ten fewer ft). I asked him to contact me once that was done so I could anticipate when the check would arrive. Did that happen – no. On July 24th, I reach back out to Daniel again to which he replied: “I spoke with our company about this right after you called. I apologize that someone has not contacted you yet. We will resolve this right away. Thank you for your patience.” Still nothing. On August 8th, frustrated that it has now been 75days since Summit agreed that I overpaid, I threatened legal action if they did not resolve this issue. On August 14th I finally received the check – no call, no email, no apology, nothing. At this point, I cannot in good faith recommend Summit Fence. While the installed product is great, the company handled this situation completely unacceptable. I have had several neighbors ask about our new fence seeing how it is the only one in our large subdivision (all others are wooded) but instead of promoting this company and earning them more business, I simply explain the issues I went through in hopes they look elsewhere. And for the owner who is reading this and does not believe this is true, I have all the emails from Daniel and welcome a discussion with you so that this type of sloppy practice does not happen to anyone else. And for all those who reviewed this company favorably, do yourself a favor and measure your fence and see if you too overpaid.

Summit did a great job. They arrived when promised. Work was quickly done and cleanup and haul away was professional. Definitely would use services again.

From the beginning I was concerned. The person giving me an estimate was supposed to arrive at 8:00. I had taken off of work and it was drizzling but not enough to cause anyone to not be able to give an estimate. I called him at 7:45 to see what time he thought he would arrive. I woke him up and he said he could not come, that he had to go into the office that day. So I immediately called the office. She said she would be right back with me and within 5 minutes, he called and said he was on his way. He showed up and was a very nice young man, took all the measurements and in about a week, I got and estimate. They were able to come when I needed them to but the lead on the job spoke very little English and was not all that pleasant. I was home the first day, thankfully, as they were supposed to put in a 4 ft. gate. When I saw it, I asked him if a 4 ft. gate would fit and he said no, that was for a 3 ft. gate. So I called Kristen and she called him. He was able to change it but if I'd not been watching, I'd have a 3 ft. gate. The fence looks fine, except one board was not nailed in and they put my gate on backwards. (I was not there the next day so wasn't watching them). I called the owner to discuss and he told me that was the way that gate worked. I told him my other gate opened out, why can't this one. I said now every time I open the gate, it pushes the pinestraw aside and you enter on mud. He said he would send someone to check it out and supposedly, they cut some off the bottom of my gate. Didn't help. I called him back and he said he would come by and look at it, but he never did. I just told him to forget it, I would get someone to hammer in the board and I guess I just have to live with the gate. That was so unprofessional, that you spend that much money and don't get what you want!

Summit fence was very responsive and professional. The workmanship was of the highest quality and the price was very good. I am very happy with this company, the owner (who went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction), and the installers. Would hire them again without hesitation.

They were very prompt, once I called them they were here. The price was very reasonable, they did a great job. The did notice that my rhododendron was in the way, and they suggested to move the fence a wee bit back so that the plant was not killed.

They showed up on time and got the job completed very quickly. They did a good job and cleaned up everything once they were done.

We had two quotes and Summit came in slightly lower, but more importantly they were able to adhere to our timeline.  Tom assisted us with making suggestions to ensure we stayed within our property lines. This involved incorporating a tree into the fence line as well as a deck at the back end of our property.  They also built two spring loaded gates for us. And on top of the fence, we also requested to have them build and cement in a "T" style swing set frame. Lee, the owner, stayed up late the night before to build the swing set  frame for us based on a picture I pulled off Pintrest.     The crew didn't speak a lot of English, but they were pleasant and cleaned up well after themselves, including taking all the branches and tree limbs they cut with them.  <br /> The fence itself is very high quality and looks great.  The neighbors have commented on how nice it looks.  They completed the job in a day and a half, even working some in the rain.  Tom and Lee were very easy to communicate with and I highly recommend working with Summit Fence. <br />

Summit Fence installed a privacy fence, trellis walk gate, and driveway gate. The installation went smoothly and the results were quite good.  There was a minor problem with the cedar boards on the gate.  After bringing this to their attention, Summit Fence worked with us and we reached a satisfactory solution.

Being that my house has many stairs and I have senior dogs, I needed a fenced area off our side porch ( less stairs there). It was a very small job, but Summit Fence responded promptly. They provided a great price for high quality, esthetically pleasing fence panels. <br />

Lee was great. He was the only fence repair company in town that would do a smaller repair that didn't have a $600-$700 minimum. He was friendly, honest, and quick to get the job done. I would highly recommend this company.

We contacted Lee in 01/2015 for an estimate for our fence. We received three estimates from three different companies. Summit fencing was the near the pricing of all those others, a tad on the upper end. We finally decided to proceed with Summit around 05/2015 after a little back and forth between in communication. The fence was to be installed end of May. The weather did not cooperate. We ended up with an installation around 06/16/15. Lee personally came out and filled and graded the burial pit. He did a great job and evened out my yard after the heavy equipment had been running over the yard, little to no damage to the grass. His crew came out the next day to begin installation. The frame of the fence was done in a day, the rest was completed the very next day. We had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. Lee called his crew and they came out and corrected small aesthetic issues. The fence looks great. Lee even provided us with the staining information that would be best to use in 2 months. Enjoyed doing business with Lee.   <br />

Excellent customer service.  Workers were prompt and delivered one of the better looking fences in our neighborhood.  I would highly recommend Summit Fence to anyone looking for an affordable option without having to sacrifice quality. <br />

Fantastic!!! Lee Tuck, Tom Jordan, and their crew were outstanding! They came out, gave me an estimate. The estimate was fair and Tom took the time to explain the process and materials to be used in detail. Lee was able to come out and for a small fee, locate my pins (which were buried), which saved me quite a bit of money over hiring a survey company. Additionally, the materials used and craftsmanship of the crew exceeded my expectations. They showed up, went right to work, and completed the fence in one day!
