It went very smoothly and easy. From the first meeting with Neal getting measurements and giving an estimate, to the owner, Dale coming out and personally measuring to insure accuracy, to the install, it was a pleasant and professional experience. I was happily surprised by the efficiency because that is so hard to find nowadays.

Workers were okay they left things pretty well cleaned up, they did a good job there.

They did an excellent job and their work was very thorough.  They were punctual as well as professional.  We were very happy with the work we had done, and will be calling them to do some additional work we would like to have done on gutters and windows. <br />

I am very pleased with the job the company did for me. Brad, the estimator was professional and very quick to respond to several questions I had before and during the process. I was extremely concerned that unexpected costs would arise, since I was on a tight budget. Brad was clear and concise in his estimates. I have 50 year old house and had no idea what they would find when they pulled the old gutters off.  All went well with only one small section of fascia board needing repair. It was done perfectly. When there was a miscommunication with the installers about the burial of pipe on the downspouts, Brad sent a couple of other workers to see to it that it was done to my satisfaction I would definitely recommend them. I called them because they have been around a long time and they have a good reputation. This year I am considering using them for replacement windows and doors. <br />

The work went terrific. They were completely professional. They were always on time. Their clean up was first class. There were no difficulties whatsoever. The job was completely perfectly. They were very helpful in guiding us through the process, especially when it came to our insurance claims. We were very satisfied with their work. A friend who was an Angie's List member recommended them, and we were so happy with our choice.

Our 9 year old home had defective shingles and we were reimbursed by our insurance Company, except for our deductible, to have the roof replaced.  Sumner Roofing was recommended to us.   We called and received an estimate and found that we would have to personally pay much less than we expected.  They gave us a contract with a price and when the job was done, that was what was pa <br /> id.  No surprises.   Their crew was friendly and they cleaned up evey night before they left.  All nail and shingles were removed.  There was never and trash left in the yard at night.   None of my bushes or flowers were harmed.  They used GAF Timberline HD lifetime Dimensional shingles with 6 nails to  achieve  manufacturers 130 mph wind warranty.  Weather watch ice and water shield in all valleys.  #15lb felt paper used.  Gaf pro-starter on all eaves and rakes.  GAF Seal -a-Ridge cap shingles on all hips and ridges. <br /> GAF Cobra 3 snow country External Baffled Shingle over ridge vent.  New static vents.  Lead  pipe boots on all plumbing pipes.New metal flashing.  There is a 5 year written wormanship warranty.  My new roof looks great. <br /> They asked for no money till the job was done and then sent the bill.  Never any pressure.  I sent them a partial payment with what I had from the insurance company already and what I knew I owed.  There was no problem waiting for the last check from our insurance company which did come rather quickly. <br /> All in all, we made a great choice in the roofers we used.  They did what they said they would with no surprises at the end.  They were professional in their work and did a great job with a minium of mess and inconvenience.  They worked with our insurance company  to minimize any bother to us.  I would reccomend them highly. <br />

They arrived on time, and completed as scheduled. They cleaned up thoroughly, and swept after removing the dumpster. An overall great experience with them. <br />

Their reputation is outstanding. They came right out after I called them and replaced the piece of sheeting and the shingles. I can't even tell that anything was done. They didn't charge me for it. They are a first class operation. They are prompt and neat. They did a very thorough job. They didn't leave a mess or debris or nails. It was almost impossible to tell that they had put a roof on my house. They did such a good job that I'm probably going to have them replace some windows. Their price was competitive. I will use them again without question.

They were prompt. They did a good job. I have had difficulties getting them paid because of the mortgage company. It was damaged during a tornado. I had to turn all the insurance money over to the mortgage company. I am sitting here with about 20% of the work done a year later because the mortgage company won't release the funds. I don't seem to be able to send them enough paperwork to satisfy them. I still owe Sumner Roofing about $2000. They've called and we've talked. I think they think I need to just come up with it out of pocket except I don't have it until I get my insurance money.  I think their price was high. They ran into some problems after they took the roof off because this is a old house. My general contractor had to instruct them on how to built it back up. They were just going to put a sheet of plywood up there and roof over it. That would've left the corner of the house sagging. He showed them how to fix that. I don't know that they would've known to do that had he not been there.

Coming home one day I noticed a piece of fascia missing.  After doing extensive research on the internet, I called Sumner Roofing.  They called the day before coming out to let me know of their approximate time of arrival.  They arrived on time, if not a bit early.  They gave me a quote and the work was completed in an hour or so.  The quality of work is excellent.  The new piece blends with the existing pieces.  I have no complaints with my experience. <br />

They were excellent.  They have a great reputation in town.  I remodeled my house three years ago and had some hellacious experience, then I worked with these guys, and they were fabulous.  They were very good.  They are just not storm chasers; they have been in this area for a long time.  They use top quality, GAF architectural shingles.  They explained everything to me.  I did have some sheeting replaced but that was just normal because the house is forty years old, so that’s not their fault.  They took extra care to make sure everything was just right like the flashing that they used around the chimneys and around the downspouts and over the sunroom, everything just looks really nice; it just looks great.  My house is bigger than 3800 square foot house and they did another room on top with a different type of roof.  I had rubber membrane roof on it before but now they put in something that matches the rest of the house.  They also did the window; they were big windows.  So with all that work, it wasn’t cheap either, in fact it was expensive but that being said, they did a great job.  This is a nice neighborhood and they have worked on about three to four houses that are about $350000 to $400000, which is just a block away from the lake so it is nice to be able to say something good about a company like Sumner Roofing & Exteriors.

Our insurance paid for it. They did a wonderful job. They were very good to work with. They were very quick, very efficient and very thorough.

The roofing and siding of my home was rather aged, and the gutter system was totally ineffective due to issues with leaf buildup. Originally, I just wanted them to come out and give me an estimate on a better gutter system, with some soffit/facia repair. I was so impressed with the company during the initial estimate, that I had them completely redo the roofing (with much better shingles, and venting re-design - old shingles etc were removed), siding, shutters, gutters, facia, soffit, wrap the doors, and provide better exterior insulation. They were backed up a few weeks before they were actually able to get to me to start work. First, the roofers came out and redid the roof (took less than a day, was done before I got home from work). A few days later an entire crew showed up to remove the old siding from the home, and start replacing the gutters, siding, etc. A few days later, I had a new house! Words can't express how happy I am with the work done to my home. It looks better than the day I bought it, and those nice big gutters (with Flo-Free Leaf Guard) are great. Highly recommended for any of the above work!

salesman Neil was very knowledgeable, prepared, polite and informative. Quality of both roof materials and windows was excellent - can't imagine getting any better. Roofers had plenty of help, came well equipped, were very efficient, cleaned up after themselves. Pretty much did a whole roof - tear off, fix some boards underneath, put on new roof, cleaned up, got almost everything gone, in one day. Window people installed 19 excellent windows, cleaned up after themselves, washed the windows, insulated and put in fillers, in about 3 days.
