"The Value of Honesty is Priceless" Sun City Mechanical, LLC was formed in October 2003 by Gary Ferguson. Gary was tired of working for companies that were just out to make a buck and take advantage of people. We are a full-service HVAC and plumbing company, also licensed in solar hot water heating. Gary has always instilled in his team members the value of honesty and integrity. The company has always prided itself on being a customer service-focused company and doing what is right by our customers. We love our local community and sponsor many clubs and teams right here in the Northwest valley! From the Automotive/Restoration Club of SCW to the Pickleball Club to the Sun City Poms, we are pleased to have to opportunity to give back to the communities we service!

We called Sun City Mechanical to get a tune-up for our 5 ton Rheem central air unit. A youg technician, Matt, showed up and spoke to my wife while I was at work. He ran tests on the motor and the fan. He falsified the readings for the motor - said it was pulling 23 amps instead of the actual 17 amps, and the fan was pulling 1.1 amps. He used this to try to convince my wife that the AC unit was beyond repair and that we needed a new AC unit. He also tried some other scare tactics with my wife saying that if the compressor goes, it would cost $600 to replace the freon. If the unit is shot, why does the compressor or freon matter?!?! Then, he told her that she should buy a Frigidaire central AC unit for $6,800 because it was superior to a Rheem! My wife called another company for a second opinion.

I call them all the time. They come when they say they are going to, but they don’t come as soon as you want them sometimes. Just one person came to complete the service. I don’t think I was there. They left the area clean. They just fixed the faucet, it’s not like they remodeled the bathroom or something. They are always friendly and helpful.

Ken, The tech specialist arrive on time at 7:00 AM. He ran, inspected the entire unit while running it. He hosed down the unit down to clean out any debris gathered over the year. This entailed rolled out the hose and putting back in it place. Also. Ken changed the air filter. Ken is a friendly well spoken person, who made the visit easy. He is very efficient. Sun Mechanical continues to espouse high standards from all their people

<p>THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL!!</p> <p>The 2 coldest days of the years and my furnace is not working right. Last night the temperature inside was very cold. I called Sun at 7:30 and advised. Jamie said all the techs were out on jobs; but would try to get someone out between 1 and 3. O boy! To my pleasant surprise, Jennie called at 9 and said Tech Chris was on his way. Chris arrived shortly after, determined what the problem, did a temporary fix until a replacement part could be ordered and installed(in one week) All these folks were professional and courteous and came to the rescue of a very cold household. James arrived on time and checked out the heating unit in the attic. The unit wasn't kicking in. James realized the batteries in the thermostat needed replaced. I found 2 and he did it. He also change my filter. All systems go! <br /> The Staff at SCM is always friendly and courteous. The A/C, Plumbing, and Heating specialists are very well trained, efficient, nice and knowledgeable. James was no exception. Thank You Sun City Mechanical! <br />

The people that we called were very helpful. They fixed the problem within a day. I talked to other people in the community here. They have dealings with Sun City Mechanical. They've all had a good report on them. Overall, they were excellent.

They are on time, they know what they are doing, they don't pump you with a lot of, 'You know, we have got to replace this or that.' They just look at the A.C and give you an evaluation of what is working and what is not. So, you don't have the feeling of being set up for a lot of repair work.

Sergio arrived right when he was scheduled. He made the needed repairs and installed the new equipment very quickly. He left the place looking better than when he arrived. We are very pleased with the work that he did. A skillful plumber that is neat, organized and delightfully customer friendly - Sergio is a great asset to his company. <p>James arrived on time, Inspected the furnace (no problems) and changed the filter. In and out with a smile in 20 minutes.</p> <p>This company </p> has us on a yearly maintenance agreement, A/C inspection in the spring, furnace in the fall and plumbing in the summer. Each visit the A/C / furnace, the filter is replaced, Also, As seniors we can't reach the filter, so in Jan they come out and replace it, even though no other service is scheduled! Now that is service! That's why I write about them every visit. Thank You. Sun Mechanical !

I was having a ridiculously hard time finding someone who would give me a quote on installing reverse osmosis. The minute I mentioned I wanted it to go to the refrigerator, companies would either not respond or quote me some ridiculous amount ($1600). But then someone recommended Sun City Mechanical, and I looked them up on Angie's List. Katie was incredibly responsive and friendly. She could send someone in the next couple days AT 6 AM to give me a free estimate. Woohoo! Sergio arrived on time and quoted me $500. They also use a local company who makes RO systems to order, so I liked that too. Sergio installed the system and it works great! I will call this company if I have any other plumbing or a/c problems. Great experience!! <br />

Appointment was setup and Technician showed up on time. He diagnost the problem pretty fast and replaced a starter capacitor for the cooling fan on the AC Unit in less than 1 hour. He charged me $150.00 for the Capacitor and Labor. Job went well and the AC Unit was fixed. <br />

I had a new foam roof installed on Wednesday and the a/c was working just fine. When I went in after the roofers were gone, there was no a/c. I contacted my roofer who said they would check with the installer to see if anything unusual happened. Before I heard back from the roofer, I decided to call Sun City Mechanical. They told me they could have a repair person there within 15-20 minutes! <br /> Paul arrived within that time-frame and checked things out. he took out the filter and told me to wash it out, checked the thermostat, then he went up on the roof to take a look. Within 5 minutes the a/c came on. <br /> There was some kind of turn off switch on the a/c that the roofer had turned off and forgot to turn back on.. Paul ended up doing a complete check up on the a/c and charged me $39.95. <br /> An unethical company could have told me there was something big wrong and I would not have known any different. <br /> Overall, I highly recommend Sun City Mechanical. Seniors get taken advantage of often out here. It is refreshing to know there are still reputable, honest businesses around. <br /> Thanks to Sun City Mechanical my house is now cool and with the temperature over 105, I really needed it! <br />
