I employed Sunrise Cleaning since 2013, and at that time gave a glowing review on Angie's List. Several years ago, the owner stopped working in the field to concentrate on managing her business. Since then, the women who were sent to clean were all professional, honest, hard-working and personable. However, there has also been a very high turnover of personnel. Different people were frequently sent to my home and hours were increasingly erratic. Cleaning was not as proficient or thorough, often because new crews had not yet been familiar with my home. In the several years that the owner personally stopped cleaning my home, she very rarely had contact with us and not once came with a crew to supervise/inspect/check the work. In May 201 7, the owner called and left a voicemail announcement that she lost her other client in my area (Granger) and could not afford to make the trip for one client. The call was made only 36 hours notice before the next scheduled cleaning. My husband died only two weeks prior to her phone call, and I especially would have preferred several weeks notice during that time. This is a courtesy I would have given Sunrise Cleaning had I fired the company. Were service to resume as it had when Sunrise Cleaning first cleaned for us, I would absolutely hire again. It had been outstanding service at one time.

<p>Service has declined since we started service approximately 1 1/2 years ago.  </p> <p>The house is moderately clean when they finish.  They spend the most time (a couple of times someone has been home to see what goes on, usually the service occurs while we are at work) working on the floors, but the hardwood never seems to be clean afterwards.  It might have been Swiffer mopped once over, but any spots on the ground are still there and require me to hand and knees scrub them out - which is precisely what I did not want to do and why we hired a cleaning service!  Even when specifically requested the dusting does not always get done.  The bathrooms are cleaned well.  </p> <p>Have had several accidents which is understandable - water glasses and one ring holder that were broken.  However the cleaning of the accidents is not always up to par - I have a young baby and both times found large glass shards that were not cleaned up on the floor.  </p> <p>Most aggravating is the billing.  We'll go months without seeing a bill, then get 3 bills all at once ($600+) and an allusion to not scheduling the next cleaning until they're paid.  </p> <p>I haven't found or heard of a better cleaning company in the area so I'll continue to use them, but it is a frustrating experience.  </p> <br />

I have had this service for about two years <br /> and they did not start out like this.  Most of the cleaning was not too <br /> bad except for our main shower, which, lately would look <br /> pretty much the same the next morning as it did before it was supposed to be cleaned. <br /> The main problem with this service is constantly cancelling <br /> my appointments. About the last six months it has become much worse. I am <br /> an easy going person and understand when things happen, but somebody else <br /> cancels and I can't get my house cleaned for the second week in a row, really?   <br /> I only have my house cleaned once a month and when they don't <br /> show up because one girl is sick and another didn't show up and the next week <br /> they don't come because another client in this area cancelled and she can't justify <br /> coming to clean my house. Well, now we are talking a month and a half that my <br /> house will not be cleaned. I think she has spread her business over too big of <br /> an area and she can't get to them when they have a scheduled appointment. <br /> I have also noticed a larger turnover in employees.  I <br /> am constantly meeting new cleaning people, which means they don't know my <br /> house.  Trash cans keep getting missed or the floor in the half bath was <br /> not cleaned, etc.  I guess I have finally just become tired of things being overlooked or being <br /> told my house is not important enough. <br /> . <br />

Cheryl and Debbie worked for 6+ hours to make sure that the house was spotless.  Their work is outstanding.  Three hours into the job, Cheryl called to make sure that I was prepared for how long it would take for them to get the house clean (I initially thought they might finish in 3-4 hours).  I appreciate very much that she checked in because, while we wanted the job done thoroughly, we really didn't know how long it would take.  <br />

They were excellent!  We couldn't have asked for anything better.

They have been doing my home now for the last 6 months and I am extremely happy! <br />

Provider is a business of cleaning properties.  Charge is $35 an hour per cleaner and they provide all equipment.   <br /> Home was about 2200 square feet.  Only 2 months old so pretty clean, dusty because still building nearby, but not grimy dirt, 2 adults and a big poodle.  With 3 ladies cleaning it took a long time - 7 + man hours  $235 - and one room was missed and they didn't have the equipment to dust the fans which my husband asked of them.  <br /> They did reduce the fee from 7 hours to a little over 5.  They move very slow.  <br /> On another note, the scheduling was not the greatest.  They were not punctual.  I booked them a second time and on the day of they called and said a cleaner was sick so they weren't coming.  Which is ok, I understand but by then it was time to move on to try someone else. <br />

I spoke with her on Friday she was supposed to call me on Sunday but I never heard back from her, she obviously isn't interested in my business so I will find someone else.

Great.  The house was spotless and we feel that cleaned better than anyone we have had in the past. <br />

They are meticulous in their cleaning. There are usually 2 other girls beside Cheryl. They split up & each one cleans a different part of the house. They will do anything extra that you ask, however, they may need advance notice if it's a time comsuming job. They aways pay close attention to details (even using toothbrushes to clean hard-to-reach areas). They are very careful when handling items in the house. Cheryl,,the owner, is very approachable and is open to suggestions. I found them on Angie's List and don't know what I'd do without them. <br />

Very well. They clean my house every two weeks and will continue to use them. <br />

Cheryl was very prompt to respond to our inquiry and helped clean when I was laid-up after having a new baby. We would deffinetly use her in the future. We liked that she is bonded and insured. <br />

This was a pleasure from start to finish, starting with Cheryl's responding to my service request on Angie's List within three hours of my posting it! (Meanwhile another cleaning service I had phoned still has not gotten back to me, months later.) She came over first for an evaluation of the house and asked excellent questions. I was able to tell her my "pet peeves" about my previous cleaning service and she took special note of these.  After the first cleaning (which naturally took longer and cost more, as she charges by the person-hour) the kitchen floor seemed to be about three shades lighter! This level of improvement was notable throughout the house. I like the fact that Cheryl uses e-mail and thus we can tweak the scheduling as necessary, as this is a second home and I would prefer for the cleaning to be done before I arrive, of course. She is very accommodating. What else can I say? Hopefully they will keep up the same high standards, as so far they have only cleaned twice. Cheryl and her team are thorough, efficient, and maniacal about cleanliness - as if it were their own home. The cost/hour is a little higher than I had been paying but the difference in quality is well worth it. <br />
