Sunrise Roofing & Construction

The garage was in very poor condition and Sunrise Roofing replaced <br /> a lot of the plywood sheeting and reroofed the entire 2 car garage. <br /> The main house they replaced the roof membrane and redid the tile roof. <br /> The upper deck was stripped of the inferior materials that the previous home <br /> owner / builder had done and a 5/8" plywood sheeting was laid with 2 <br /> layers base sheet and 2 coatings of hot tar on top and covered with tile. <br /> Unfortunately I assumed that the tile decking would be of the same quality workmanship as the garage roof had been and with the work being done upstairs with open joists, I did little checking until the job was done.  Boy was I wrong. Many of the grout lines are 1/2 to 3/4ths of an inch and the tile floor is totally uneven.  <br /> Now I have the home up for sell as I have moved out of state to be closer to my family.  <br /> During a home inspection it was found that Sunrise Roofing had not sealed the gap up against the house and water pours through this gap to the 1st floor with absolutely NO restrictions.  <br /> I have called Sunrise Roofing at least 7 times and my realtor has also placed several calls to them.   <br /> Unfortunately they use a 2nd cell phone to take all <br /> calls directly to voice mail and apparently only return the calls for new work. <br /> The 5 year  Workmanship Guarantee that Sunrise Roofing provide me, is TOTALLY worthless and I have had to hire other workmen to repair the work Sunrise roofing did. <br /> For your piece of mind, DO NOT deal with a contractor that does not take your calls live. Obviously a piece of advice I should have  heeded myself. <br /> <br /> <br />

I worked with Sunrise Roofing and construction for the first time back in August of 2011 where they replaced my roof. This time I had a 300 sqft patio that was enclosed by the previous owner. The job done by the previous owner or who he hired was shoddy at best. So after I decided to open it up I called Mr. Christie of Sunrise Roofing and Construction. He later came over and I told him what I was looking at having done and we later came to a price which we both agreed on. As with the first job he was always on time, cleaned up on a daily basis and worked hard in that 29 Palms summer heat. He worked with the city inspector to make sure all the work was being done in accordance with building codes. All in all as with the first job he did for me this was a pleasant experience. Pricing was definitely fair and I got my moneys worth. I highly recommend Mr. Christie and his company Sunrise Roofing and Construction for any project you have from a re-roof to a full blown re-model, you will not be disappointed. Last but least I must apologize to Mr. Christie for taking so long to write this review.

Very detail oriented. Ensured every part was fastened properly and methodically, that water would drain away from the house correctly, and the roof would was secure in case of earthquakes. Inspected overall condition of roof as well. Also took note of any future issues that may develop from weather/wear and tear with other structural parts of the home. Punctual for both consultation and for the day of work. Excellent value and would hire again for future roofing or contracting needs. <br />

Sunrise installed m roof four years ago. I called last week to report wind damage that I hoped was still under warranty. Steve came by today and repaired no charge. <br />

I cannot sing their praised enough. Roofing is a very difficult job regardless of the situation. It is hard work and the conditions when this work was done were difficult as well due to weather.  <br /> They were on time, they were clean, they were fast, and they were precise. It was a tough job and they did it to perfection. <br /> Now, I have peace of mind that if it rains, i have no worries.  <br /> I would recommend these pros to anyone. <br />

They were absolutely fabulous.  I couldn't be happier with the job.  The site was clean when they left.  It was a pleasure working with them.  A couple of companies never got back to us and it was frustrating.  But they were the only folks who followed through with what they said.  I am in Oregon and my sister was here.  However, I and my sister have to share that place together.  They were reliable and on time.  They have a reasonable price.

We met with a few roofers and we really liked Sunrise for two reasons: we felt very comfortable with Steve from the start and we preffered his roofing system/process compared to what everyone else offered. We felt his recommendation would outlast the other options provided by the other roofers. He gave us a fair price and completed the job efficiently. Everything was nicely cleaned up and hauled away. We requested the wood fascia to be primed, but they also painted it and matched the color of the existing paint. There were a number of other things they did, going above and beyond without charging us. We were out of town the entire time the roof was being installed and I was never worried, in fact I was very happy when I got back to see all the great decisions they made and the extras they provided. I really have to say this was a great experience and would definitely recommend them. <br />

Overall the job went great. Sunrise Roofing was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and punctual. I went over to the house one morning about 7:30 and there was already someone there working, I did not expect that. Anything I asked about they were willing to stop what they were doing and give me an explanation of what was going on. Their work and materials are warranteed/guaranteed, they pulled all applicable permits and got the work done in a clean and professional manner. They take care and pride in their work and it shows with my brand new great looking roof.
