Just ok. Contractor did not pressure wash brick, nor did he even wash off the brick with yhe garden hose before staining it. Also stain was splattered over my siding.

Sunyay is fantastic! Fabricio and Daniel took great care of my home as they installed new studs, secured drywall cutouts, applied compound, sanded, and painted. They were on time, professional, courteous and kind. It was a pleasure to have them and I recommend them without hesitation. Hope to see you guys soon!

Sunyay representative, Fabricio, reviewed the work to be done, a massive hole in the ceiling, with debris falling or hanging precariously. In order to avoid mold, work could not start until the ceiling area and walls had dried. Once he started, his work was great. The process took a long time, because of drying, but the end product was worth it, and he somehow matched the paint already on the walls. You would never know there had been a disaster in the bedroom. Fabricio is also rare (in a good way) because he gets back to you when you call him. He is reliable and professional. I would use him again, but I hope I don't have to!

I was in search of a contractor to remove my current ceiling, install insulation and replace the ceiling with Quietrock sheetrock so that I could soundproof between floors and I'm very happy to have connected with Fabricio here on Angie's List. Fabricio responded immediately with answers to any questions I had or clarifications that I needed and when it was time to work on the project he and his team were here on time every day and completed the project flawlessly! I'm very happy with the work that was done and I plan to work with Fabricio again.

Fabricio did a great job fixing our water damaged ceilings and walls in 4 rooms. He also helped us out with some additional plastering jobs on two other ceilings.

Fabricio did a great job at our brownstone repairing some drywall after an electrician installed a hanging pot rack from our ceiling. He also helped us realize that the licensed electrician did a bad job and that we needed the electrician to come back and fix it before he could finish the drywall. He was very helpful, patient, and did a great job explaining to us what needed to be fixed. I’d definitely hire Fabricio again and recommend him to friends.

We've hired Fabricio twice now, once to paint our apartment when we moved in, and once to paint our nursery, with an accent wall. He did a great job both times, with high quality work, accurate estimates and delivery, and great customer service. He is very friendly and honest, which is refreshing, and the prices are reasonable. We had to create a lot (>12) holes in the ceiling to run some cables. Fabricio was very quick to provide a quote and we booked the job within a couple of hours. The holes have been patched very professionally using good quality repair patches and filler that Fabricio sourced for us, sanded smooth and painted. The job was done with a minimum of mess and looks great. Fully reccomended!

I hire Sunyay Paint to paint a showroom in NYC, on 5th avenue, every 6 months. They always do a very professional job. This last job I changed my mind on a paint color after the work was done and Fabricio was very accommodating with his schedule to make the change. They are careful to cover all the furniture and do a nice job cleaning up when they are finished. I highly recommend this company and the guys are really sweet.

READ EVERY LETTER IN CONTRACT! What Fabricio Elizondo says to you, and what he writes in contract - it is not the same. I worked with dozens contractors in NJ/NY. He is first one who did that. Costs me 1000$. Dishonesty should be never tolerated! Quality of job - OK. rating 1 to 5 - I would say quality is almost 4. His team does not have much skills, but they listen and learn. You can not just offhand work to them - you have to watch and intervene. But they pay attention and eventually they deliver. You can work with most of them - good guys. Especially thanks to Andjey(sorry if misspelled) and Raul!

"It is not my fault that you didn’t read in the estimate that the materials are paid by the client. On the quote it’s says in a bold letter MATERIALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE.Now you wrote a bad review. I have 20 years of experience as a painter, I know very well how to do a good job step by step. ( I have such a great reviews ) I did more than it was on the estimate, you were changing colors that I wasn’t supposed to paint and I didn’t complain and didn’t charge you more money for those extra. You told me “ I didn’t read all the estimate”, as I said, it is not my fault. Your exterior house looks amazing and I deserve a good review and respect."

Fabricio was amazing. He called me only minutes after requesting a quote and showed up within hours to review the work and give an estimate. He kept his word on what times he would come to perform the repairs and how much he would charge. His work was neat, deliberate, and professional. I will call him again for any similar work that is needed. I would absolutely recommend him for drywall repair and painting.

Fabricio did a great job all around. We were on a tight schedule with only a few days to paint before moving into our new place. Fabricio gave a reasonable quote and was able to complete all of the work ahead of schedule, giving plenty of time for the paint to dry before our move-in date. Even so, he did not sacrifice quality - it looks great! He was very communicative throughout the project, sending updates, and is very friendly and a pleasure to work with. He bought the paint for the job, and kept costs down (and provided receipts). We plan on using them the next time we need painting work.
