Exceptionally expensive and unfriendly SUPA AIR AND HEAT (2840 Stirling Rd Suite D Hollywood, FL 33020) Gregg Williams Owner/Technician Did not show up on time to our first appointment and did not call me or my tenant to let us know he was not going to show up. He replaced my thermostat with a plain PRO1 IAQ T701 Non-Programmable Electronic Thermostat (cost on Amazon $40). His total charge was $290! ($40 thermostat plus $250 in labor to install it). This charge seemed too expensive to me, so I contacted several companies in the area. I found out that his charge was about 70% more than other similar companies in the area. After showing him in writing what other companies charge, he called me irritated. He unhappily reduced the price to $250, which is still about 50% more than other similar companies quoted me. I would not use Gregg Williams services again because of his exceptionally high charges, lack of punctuality, and unfriendly demeanor. In addition: Did not give me an estimate before doing the work.

I got home from a trip in the 22nd of July...a/c was running but wasn't getting cold and it was freezing up. I called Supa air and they sent someone out...the guy that came arrived during daylight hours and did a thorough inspection of my unit. He said the unit was running great and that it just needed freon. Since I have an older system the cost of putting freon in was $348. So I agreed..I found it odd that he didn't check for any leaks..but he's a professional so I let him do his thing..and since he came out in a Sunday threw in a small tip so he could buy a drink. On July 30th the system stopped cooling again and the lines were feeezing. I called and spoke to Greg and told him it needed more freon. Greg came out on the 31st at about 8:30 - 9:00 ish. We went outside and while I shined a light for him ..he out a digital machine on the unit outside..then came inside and took a look at my system. He told me that the system is old and was not worth fixing. I told him that the guy on the 22nd who so graciously took my $348 and told me the system was fine ...said that the unit was still good. Greg brushed that off and repeated that the system needed to be replaced and that he had a new system for $4,820. I asked him if he could at least check the coils and he refused ..stating that it was of no use...not onon did either of them check for leaks. My question to him was that if the system was so bad it was beyond repair why did his employee feel the need to tell me the system was in good and that I only needed freon? Why take my $348 knowing that the system was not good. The fact that I got conflicting stories from the two definitely destroyed my trust in this company. After I reported him to the BBB his only response was that he didn't know who I was...but I've attached screenshots of the phone calls between us.

Greg was great, arrived 40 minutes after I called for initial estimate. Completed work with 3 your timeframe following day, cleanse duo after themselves. I would use them again.

The workers worked over the weekend to ensure we did not have to go without A/C for too long. It was a difficult project and took longer than we thought, but turned out fine.

I rarely take time to write reviews. However, I was so pleased with this service that I had to. My AC unit broke at what felt like the hottest day of the year. I did my research and landed on two companies from Angie's list. What made me go with this one was the initial visit from Greg. Greg, was very professional and LISTENED to me and didn't try to oversell, up sell, or fast talk me. He walked me through my options and when it came time to install the team was right on time and did not leave until everything was working. It was a pleasure working with this team and needless to say my nights got cooler!!

The service tech who came out was very nice and respectful. My issue is that the owner of the company told the tech to charge me $85 for the visit even though 1) they did not inform me beforehand that I would be charged and 2) I had explained to them beforehand that someone had already diagnosed my problem and all I needed was a quote for repair. I didn't think this charge was fair at all. I had received quotes from two other companies at no cost. It made me decide not to consider them for the work that eventually needed to be done.

"When we spoke with the Mr. D we explain everything that we always tell our customers. We also informed him that even though somebody diagnosed the problem one of our technician would have do a through examination of the unit to diagnosis the problem. Reputable and excellent Companies cannot use another person finding to fix the problem of any A/C unit especially if it is going to be done properly. It is clear from his respond that he did not want to pay for the service call fee and that's the reason why he is complaining."

Mr. Williams was excellent. He came to our house the same day we called, and took a look at our unit inside, and then went outside to diagnose the problem. He was able to tell us right away what needed replacing and returned with the part that same evening. He also advised that we should expect to place our unit in the not so distant future. When that day comes, we will be calling him!

I was so impressed with Gregg and Supa Air that I hired them again to replace the A/C in mom's home. Once again, Gregg provided an on-time estimate with reasonable prices. Ever the professional, he explained everything that would be done, which included removing the old handler and re-routing some ducts. Supa Air deals mostly with Trane products, which is a BIG PLUS for me. I trust that name brand. On game day, he arrived with his work crew. The workers were polite, professional and VERY clean. They cleaned up afterwards and were pleasant to deal with. Gregg periodically checked on their progress to ensure everything was OK. As a repeat customer, I would definitely recommend Supa Air and Heat.

I contacted several a/c companies and made at least 5 appointments with representatives. Supa Air and Heat arrived on time, and Gregg was by far the most professional. No pressure, no expectations - just honest service. Price was in line with other reputable companies also. Their professionalism is what sold me. They are a family owned and operated business, which I prefer. Everything went smoothly, professionally and efficiently.

he said he could get me up and running on sat and that they would be there at 9 :30 am which to my surprise they were they came one on the roof the other inside and worked for a few hrs till the crane got here and then back to the roof, in the mean time I had ask for a box up there to be replaced which he said would be of no problem.at the end of there time they were hooking up the drain line and it keep shooting water out I figured there might be an extra charge but no just went ahead and took care of it. and a funny thing was that this is the owner of the company.
