I’ve had others look at the furnace with the same problem coming up again soon after. Super Heating and Cooling came out the day I called them. Fixed the problem and his bill was very reasonable. He was courteous, answered my questions and his work fixed the problem. I won’t be calling anyone else for my hearing and cooling needs.

They replaced our furnace and a/c unit February 2015. December 2016 our furnace was running 10-15 degrees below where it was set. We called, their message said they were out of town so we called another company. He found that the fusible links for 2 of 3 heating elements were burnt out due to heat pack being installed upside down. We were running on 1/3 of our furnace. We have attempted to call Super multiple times over two weeks to allow them a chance to right this wrong, and only get voicemail. No one has returned our calls. This company is negligent in their work and irresponsible about returning calls. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They found and fixed our furnace problem very quickly. <br /> Things I liked: <br /> - No pressure sales pitch <br /> - Very reasonable price <br /> - Fast service (they did exactly what they said they would do for the exact price they quoted) <br /> - Very patient and understanding even as I got an estimate from their competitor <br /> Things I didn't like: <br /> - Really nothing to dislike <br />

In October of 2013, we hired Scott Jones of Super Heating and Cooling to install a natural <br /> gas line to a new backyard fire pit. He installed a pipeline that was too small to carry the gas needed for <br /> the fire ring to work properly. He took payment of $1225.00 but refused to refund our money when it became evident <br /> the fire pit did not work. He was unable and unwilling to correct the problem. He also refused to resolve our complaint through the <br /> complaint resolution process that Angie?s List provides. Our last option was to file a claim against him in small claims court. <br /> On March 5th of 2014, the court ruled in our favor, rendering a judgment against Super Heating and Cooling ordering a repayment of our initial cost in the amount of $1225.00 plus court costs of $94.00. <br /> <br /> Returned to court on May 20. Mr. Jones did not show up. As of June 2014, we have received $600 of the $1,319 owed. Will return to court June 24, to pursue other options, since Mr. Jones continues to show contempt for the Vigo Count Court. <br /> <br /> As of Aug 18, we have received $800 of the $1,300 owed. It appears that it will take over a year for us to recoup our losses if Mr. Jones continues his current pattern of repayment. <br /> <br /> In addition, we have had to pay an electrician $100 to repair an issue on our furnace that Super Heating and Cooling installed incorrectly and caused our basement to flood. Our Son-in-law had to also have an electrician come in to correct an issue he had with the installation of the filter on his furnace! LET THE BUYER BE WARE!! This man does not know what he is doing and is willing to take your money and perform incompetent work!! <br />

"first of all (Member name removed) was never even present during any of this contreacted project we dealt only with her husband (Member name removed). All the dates are correct but we had installed a new furnace and heat pump as well as a new hot water heater so where are our grades for these contracted jobs? This is important because when we had received the phone call to look at gas line installation job we made (Member name removed) very aware that we were extremely busy with other heating customers but he insisted we do the job I then explained to him that we had never done this type of job and would need certain information to determine proper sizing as well as the fact that we felt he did not have enough gas to area he was wanting us to take gas from. He then presented us with their landscape contractors foreman and he stated that the 1/2 line that was present would be plenty because they had done this before so we then asked (Member name removed) if he could find out the btu's of the fire pit and he replied he would have the landscape company contact my business with that information we never received this call he then called again asking us how much and when could we do the job. Her figures are correct as well but when we asked for more information he still insisted we get to it as soon as possible so he could possibly enjoy using the fire pit by the weekend. So on the afore mentioned date we did install line and went as far as to hook it up to fire ring for him which was not included in contracted job and we could not fire it off because the landscape contractor had taken the valve key to modify to fit so (Member name removed) took the invoice and gave us a check and signed this invoice just like the previous 2 invoices for the 2 above stated jobs knowing he had to wait on the contractor to return with the key. We did make several trips to try and help (Member name removed) with his gas flow issues and did state we could try a regulator but with further research informed him that was not possible but the foreman had told us to set the ring on top of the fire brick was good enough yet we still returned and raised the ring up to the new stated height we also went as far before leaving our final trip as to offer to run another larger gas line if this was not going to be suffient at no charge."

They did a great job! He was a little late, but we were the last stop for the day and he did call us and let us know exactly what time he would be arriving. The furnace breaker was overheating and causing the furnace to shut off. He had the issue solved in no time! He did have to run to the store to purchase a new break and return to install it. We plan on using him in the future if we have any further issues!

They didn't charge me for a service call because they found a cracked heat exchanger. The only thing I didn't like was I had to go about four days without heat while they ordered a furnace to fit my house. Other than that, the service was good, the employees were friendly. They installed a new unit and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend them.

It was sooo hot just before the Memorial Day weekend and of course, I waited until Friday afternoon before I decided my AC wasn't working. I called Super (based upon Angie's List recommendations) and was pleasantly surprised when they squeezed me into their already full Saturday schedule by scheduling me for first thing in the morning. Scott arrived early, checked out my AC, and added Freon. He advised me that my unit is outdated and inefficient (both true!) and gave me an estimate for a new unit. He was clean, friendly, pleasant, and helpful. I would definitely use this business again. <br />

We came home from vacation in the 98 degree heat to find our AC unit had died. We sought out several quotes and decided to settle on Super Heating and Cooling. Their price was competitive, they were available in a time frame we could live with and most important, we felt comfortable with them. We never felt that they were trying to oversell us,, we felt at that time and still do, that Super Heating and Cooling gave us the perfect equipment for our home. <br /> They came when expected, did a clean job and saved us from the insufferable heat. <br /> Super Heating and Cooling will definitely be our "go to" guys for as long as we live in this area. <br /> <br /> <br />

I have two furnaces and neither one was working. I found this company's name on your site and when I called, they responded immediately.A call was made by the owner to find parts for one furnace and I was given an estimate on buying a new second furnance. As soon as the parts came in, I was called and an appointment was made. The repairs were made quickly and the area was left neat and clean. I would recommend this company and will probably use them to install the new furnace. <br />

Our heat pump broke down just as it was getting warm. It turn out that a part they don't make anymore went bad, so Super Heating & Cooling had to find the part for us. They found the part from a place in California and installed it as soon as they got it. The installer was very professional and even waited around for a half hour after completing the job to ensure the house was cool.

This has happened several times over the past couple of years and our previous contractor would come out and service it, but after a few months, we would have the same problem. Apparently he was never addressing the real issue. Scott from Super came out, found the problem and got us up and running again. They are very polite and professional and I would highly recommend!
