Brandon was extremely responsive before and during the initial job and did show up every day for several days and put in writing that he guaranteed his work. However, within one day of him finishing the job, we noticed that the brick that they replaced was sunk down on our front porch in the middle and was not level at all, so water pooled into the sunk-in portion. That was the end of July. Between July 31 and the first of November, we have texted every week or two with him, asking him to please fix this problem and we have 12 texts from him, each time giving us an excuse of why he cannot come that week or telling us that he will come but he never shows up due to numerous excuses. Excuses ranged from "my fiance is in the hospital having a baby, my father hurt his foot, my father was in the hospital, will be there later this afternoon, will be there Friday morning, sorry for the delay it will be Monday morning before we get you figured out, out of commission for a few days, sorry I'm finishing a house and will be here until 9:30, we are finishing a roof this week and next and when it's done we will be redoing the brick, we will be there by this week, I'm trying to get this job done before cold weather comes in, I will have you done by Monday for sure," etc., etc., etc. The sad thing is that he did show up to do the initial work and be paid, but he's no good for standing behind his work. DO NOT HIRE because if there is any kind of issue that he creates, he will not fix it and will have every excuse in the book why he cannot fix it. We have had a reputable brick masonry guy look at it in the last month who said the person who laid this brick obviously didn't know what they were doing. Very sad work ethic so don't waste your time on this company, even if they quote you what seems to be a great price.

His name is Brendan and he charged $5000 from us for labor for Kitchen cabinets, back splash, Kitchen Tiles. We provided all the materials. He didn't finish the backsplash, not finish the cabinets and Kitchen sink. He received money saying that he is broke and he need to pay money for his car and house. Now he is not picking up the phone and we have to call other contractor to get the job done. Angie's List please take his name out from this site and never recommend him for any work. We need our money back for the work he didn't finish. Please stay away from this company and this person. Thanks.

I regret hiring this guy and warn anyone else thinking of hiring him against it. Brandon had over two weeks to prepare for this job; during those two weeks I called with one question and his response was always, "I'll call you back in 15 minutes." Which he never did UNTIL a few days before he was scheduled to start -- then he called and tried to persuade me to have the entire driveway replaced. I refused. His worker came and tore out the bad section on time and assured me they'd be back "tomorrow" to pour the concrete. "Tomorrow" turned into about five days, with an amazing array of excuses from Brandon (it was always someone else's fault, by the way). He even had his worker call and beg me "not to get mad," that the concrete would be poured "Monday. Tuesday at the latest." When I complained on Tuesday, Brandon said i could call "Chris" to explain why they couldn't pour that day. I reminded him that I have no idea who 'Chris" is and that I paid him a deposit to do a job, not for me to do the work for him. I told him if I had to take legal action against him, so be it. The concrete was finally poured on Wednesday. Brandon assured me they'd come back "tomorrow" to clear up all the debris from the torn up section and to seal a couple of cracks. When it was evident they weren't coming "tomorrow," his excuse was that he had to rent a truck and couldn't pick it up until 5:30 that day. But they'd be there "tomorrow" for sure. No one showed up on Friday, of course. His worker did call and promised he would be there "tomorrow" morning to clean everything up. On Saturday his worker never showed up; seems Brandon had told him not to bother, that he (Brandon) would take care of it. Monday morning, no Brandon. I called and Brandon said he was just putting the hitch on the truck and would be right over. He's now blocked my number. If he didn't want the job why take it? If it wasn't enough money to suit him why did he suggest the price? I see that the new concrete is a mess. I don't think he bothered to put the wooden forms down the sides as he should have -- concrete is smeared all over the grass and on the chunks of concrete from the old section. I can't get my grass mowed because of all the concrete pieces in the yard, and he's piled up concrete pieces on my neighbor's property as well. Today I see he's failed Angie's List's background check; wish they'd published that three weeks ago.

Brandon gave us a very reasonable price for his labor and work. He showed up on time or within reason everyday ( did not miss a day) for work. His crew was very nice and polite and hard working. We were very very impressed with his integrity and dependability. We definitely have found someone who has our trust to do what they say they will do and not change things in the middle of a job. We definitely would consider him first for any future jobs we need work on.

Good, if you want to see trowel marks and low spots in the concrete and remove the forms and backfill yourself. Not very professional, made excuses for poor work “my concrete guy called in sick today”, tried to make contact 3 times to get forms off with no shows each time - always get a picture of some other job that he is working (not sure if this is to impress or drive the fact he is too busy?) The quality of work is not that good, many trowel marks in the concrete, tons of low spots& when forms pulled off slab is not really 4” per the agreed scope maybe 2” at best. There is not one expansion joint or saw cut in the slab - not even where it joins to the existing slab and into an adjacent slab - I am hoping at this point it doesn’t crack. Brandon said he would come and fix the rough/low spots with resin, he also said he would come and pull the forms - I am not convinced he knows the proper way of fixing. I am now figuring out how to make the pad look a little better and hope that it doesn’t crack into a 100 pieces. If had to do over would have went with the guy on next door app that cost a little more, I relied too heavily on the Angie’s list verified contractor and the cheap price. Would not hire again. (The picture that has dirt on it below highlights the trowel marks, i had to spray the driveway clean after concrete poured)

Went great came out tore old vinyl off and replaced with new,very professional and got the job done in a timely manner will be my go to for future projects

They're great and wonderful. Very friendly, helpful if I had any questions. They showed up in a timely manner and finished within the scheduled time. They did a really good job. I'm thinking about calling them in the future to put in a back porch for me.
