Joe visited the next day, gave me an assessment in my whole garage door system, and pointed out areas that my need attention. I thought he had a pragmatic approach and listened to my needs. We finally agreed a new garage door opener was the cure, he did a meticulous installation and adjusted the door and it’s components. The door has operated perfectly since his visit.

Joe Small arrived on-time and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I had been having an issue with my garage door failing to operate correctly every so often and Joe spotted the problem immediately. He made some adjustments and lubricated all moving parts. He also explained the potential issues with my older assembly system and showed me the benefits of upgrading at some point down the road...but he didn't push anything. My garage door opener and assembly is working great now. Highly recommend Joe.

Joe was great. He was on time and very professional. Most of all he was Honest. We thought it needed new rollers, and even suggested that to Joe, but he assured us that wasn't necessary, and no further work was needed at this time. So Wonderful, to find an honest company, that isn't going to take advantage of you. I would recommend him Very Highly.

A great experience. Technician/owner was on time. Was very personable and knowledgeable. Gave me some nice hints on door maintenance. Would definitely use this service again.

He lubricate the necessary parts. Also, I was concerned that the garage door was making a "banging" sound. He wasn't able to locate the source. I may contact the company that did the install. He also stated he would have charged significantly less than the other company. I felt comfortable with his professionalism and will contact him for future services.

I ran into the owner Joe Small while he was servicing my neighbors door. I asked him a few questions about garage door service and was very impressed by his knowledge and courtesy.  <br> <br>I then asked him to look at my door. He was there the next day on time and did preventative maintenance on my garage door. He took time to explain my setup and what he was doing to service it. He gave me tips on how to extend the life of it and do minor lubbing myself. He said I was in good shape but to call if I ever have a problem.  <br> <br>I was was super impressed with Joe and would refer anyone who needs help with their garage door to him. He is a small one man operation with a great service attitude!

Joe did a great job on fixing our garage door. He was very quick, walked me through what needed to be done and checked everything else out just in case.

I spoke with Joe on Friday night and and on Saturday morning Joe was at the house to check on the garage door. He was very professional and explained to me the problem and what needed to be fixed & replaced. Not only did Joe do a great job, he is very kind and friendly. I was very happy with his service and i would hire him again. Highly recommend him to every one.

I would not hire Superior Garage Door Services, LLC again nor can I recommend them. My garage door opener was not working. Joe Small came out to replace it. After the new opener was installed, the door still did not function as it should. Another company came out 09/23/2016 and now my garage door works correctly. The details: I called Superior Garage Door on 09/20/2016. Two sections of teeth were missing from the belt drive, the garage door would not open. Joe Small of Superior said those belts are hard to come by, suggested I check eBay. We set an appointment for 09/21/2016 for the garage door opener to be replaced. I asked my Mom to meet him at my house as I was running a few minutes late. Upon entry in to the garage, he spent the first 10 minutes talking about the classic car in the garage. He inquiried if I wanted to sell it as his brother has a classic car sales lot. He spent the next 10 minutes telling me how the current springs had too many winds in them. I replied the door has worked for 11 years without incident. He measured one of the springs, checked an app on his phone and found the number of winds was within range. He said the spring system I had was obsolete. During his service call, he stated a minimum of 6 times that the springs needed to be replaced in various ways. When I declined, he told me I would have to sign a waiver as he would not warranty the motor with the current springs. Reluctantly, I agreed to have the springs replaced. He said he would have to call his supply house first thing in the morning and then he would call me. I went in the house. My Mom asked to see the garage door work, he handed her the remote and said "you're on your own." She came and got me. I pressed the garage door opener and the door closed to within a foot of the floor. I pressed the button again and it closed. I pressed it to open, it opened partially and stopped. At this point, Joe scolded me to "Stop, you are going to burn the motor up." At this point, I was pretty sure I had called the wrong company. 09/22/2016, no phone call from Joe. I called him around 10 am and left a voice mail. After lunch, I called him from a different number and he answered the phone. He said he talked to two guys and meant to call me back. He would need the garage door model number as he can guarantee those are not the right springs for that door. After he had the model number he would call Clopay to find out the correct springs. He also told me that he would need a special tool to weigh my garage door and he would need to unwind the springs (before the correct springs could be determined). I asked how much experience he had with my type of garage door? He replied there are not that many of them out there. I replied, that is not what I asked you. He then replied none. When I restated his answer of none, he said he did not say that. He said he did not have any experience wih my door but knew the configuration. When we hung up, I knew I had to call another company. I did text Joe the model number on 9/22/2016 and he did call me on 9/23/2016. I told him I was going with a different company for the spring replacement. I paid Joe as he did do the job I asked him to do. I refuse to do business with someone who continually talks over me, does not listen and provides erroneous information. When the second company came out, they confirmed the springs needed replacement. Interestingly, they had 3 of the belts on the van that I was suggested to check eBay for. The second company confirmed that the springs I had are the correct ones for that garage door and had the proper number of winds. If you do not know how to correct the issue I had, just admit it. Don't lie and tell me I have too many winds (when your app, the owner's manual and a second garage door company all confirm within range). Telling me belts are not available when I physically saw 3 in another company's van. Being disrespectful to my Mom and telling me you need to weigh the door. Really? We live in Pinellas county, a peninsula on the Gulf of Mexico and this hurricane rated door I have is rare? The second company knew exactly what door I had, the spring configuration and the knowledge to correct the issue.
