Superior Improvements

There were some communication issues because of his secretary leaving abruptly and his voicemail being full. However, Ryan called me when the new storm door came in and we set up a date for the work to be done. Ryan worked very quickly and he kept everything very clean. (My wife loves a contractor who brings his own vacuum.) He did a first rate job. He even came back after the silicone sealant dried and washed the windows. Ryan is a nice guy, a hard worker and does very good work. I would definitely use him again.

We used Superior Improvements.  They were stellar, absolutely stellar.  They were out there, I want to say last summer, I want to say maybe August or so.  I think we paid like $2000.  I thought the price was pretty fair.  Their responses were lacking at first but there was a reason for it.

This company ranks the highest with me. From the initial measuring and estimate, to the installation, and then a minor manufacturing issue, I could not be happier with choosing Superior to install my windows. It took me almost 6 months of research before finally pulling the trigger to hire Superior. I went overboard and got estimates from 9 different businesses. They used different window manufacturers and for one reason or other (my comfort with the business, quality of window or cost), all were eventually crossed off the list. In a last ditch attempt to find other service providers before having to settle for someone I already crossed off, I stumbled upon Superior! When I called to set up my measurement appointment I found out that they used a window I was already well educated on, and was on the top of my list! Ryan came out to measure, he was very knowledgeable, personable, and I felt comfortable with him. He was going to be doing the actual installation as well. When I received the quote, it was $2,500 less than an identical quote from another installer. I was already sold on the product, felt comfortable with who was going to be doing the install, it was a no brainer to go with Superior. The windows were ordered, installation was scheduled once they came in, and the whole process was flawless! Once Ryan started working, it was very obvious he is a perfectionist. The sliding door and windows were installed perfectly. I did find a scratch on the glass of one of the windows, and the office manager Stephanie, came out to inspect it and ordered a new window pane for me and then came to install it once it arrived. Ryan and Stephanie had really made this big purchase happen for me with very little effort on my part. They have handled every little issue that came up to my complete satisfaction with great professionalism. I would love to hire Superior for additional work I was to complete in my house!

I plan to have Superior Improvements handle all future door and window problems.   Ryan Loosen is the owner and also installed the my new patio door.   Went above and beyond on installation and making sure everything was done correctly.   Ryan really knows his stuff.  He is meticulous, a perfectionist and very professional. <br />

<p>Called Superior to have screens replaced on 2 patio doors. Set up an appointment on 5/14/15 between 2p and 3p. No one showed up or called.I called them at 4:15p to see what was going on. Got their answering machine. Left a message. About 45 minutes later, they called; and I was told that their man had gotten tied up at his previous job and would not be able to come today. I then made an appointment for 5/15/15 between 1p and 3p. At 3:15p someone showed up. Instead of replacing the screens on site, as originally planned, he said that it would be easier for him to take them back to the shop and do the work there. I was told that the screen doors would be back by Monday mourning (5/18/2015). I finally received the doors at 5p Monday afternoon.</p> <p>They did very good work in replacing the screens and putting on new rollers on the top and bottom of each door. The problem is that I was tied up for three days for what should have taken only one or two hours.</p> <br />

Excellent work and customer service at a top price. They charged $325 to install exterior doors, $135 for storm door, and $100 to repair a storm door. <br /> Scott came out on a Saturday morning to give us an estimate, answered all our questions, and guided us in how to purchase our doors as well as knobs/locks. We got our home doors from Lowe's but the garage service door was an odd size; we were able to purchase this through Superior. <br /> They picked up our doors from Lowes and brought them to us and installed them mostly in one day--finishing up a couple hours the next day. Near our back door there was a gap where the door was separating from the flooring and they fixed this. Back storm door was getting crooked so they re-hung this. Above and beyond--saw our doorbell wasn't working and fixed that right away at no extra cost. After the winter the front exterior door wasn't clicking into place so we called them. They were seeing much of this shifting with the especially cold winter and they came and fixed it for free. <br /> Everything looks great, sealed very nicely. Almost no drafts at all in winter compared to much drafting with old doors. <br /> Between Superior's cost of $1,414 and buying the doors and pieces at Lowe's, the entire door replacement job came to less than $3,000--incredible given that WeatherTight had come door to door one day and quoted us $7,800 for a similar job. We saw similar prices to these on some of the big name door/window company reviews. <br /> I recommended them to my parents and it appears they did an excellent job for them as well! <br />

The repair went perfect!!!!   He felt bad for us so he squeezed us in to fix our problem.  A problem that was created from another contractor.  If it had not been fixed we would have had severe water damage on the inside of our house.  He literally saved us!!!  We are so thankful and appreciative for him!!! <br />

We have windows that we bought from Thermal-Gard years ago.  A few years after we bought them, the company no longer offered their services in Wisconsin.  So, when we had a problem with one of the windows, they told us they would send the parts but we have to find someone to repair the window.  My bathroom window would not open from the bottom at all.   I had difficulty finding someone who would do the work.  Found Superior thru Angies List.  Scott and Ryan replaced the springs but since Thermal-Gard didn't send  the correct springs, the window didn't stay up.  So, after recieving the correct springs, Ryan returned and replaced them.  No extra charge either.  How nice!  Very happy with the company. <br />

Steve was very prompt, clearly explained what needed to be done and how he was going to fix the window.    I will definitely consider using this company again. <br />

It went very well.  We received some contacts from Menards for the installation of these doors.  One of the the contacts was Superior Improvements.  I checked each company out on Angie's List and on the Web.  Superior had exceptional reviews each place I checked. I emailed them on Saturday, they contacted my husband on Monday.   We received a quote early that week and the doors were installed early the very next week! <br /> The doors look great and the installers took the extra step to fix the trim around the outside door to perfection!  We are very happy with the work that was done by this company.  The price was a little more than we intended to pay but (as my father always told me), you have to pay for quality!   <br /> I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have doors installed and would definitely hire them again. <br />

The frame around our leaded glass window was rotting.   Rather than install a new window, Superior was able to save the existing leaded glass window and just install a new storm/screen.  They rebuilt the rotting frame.  Looks beautiful.  Much cheaper than a window replacement and kept the integrity of the house intact.  Nice people. Good work. Good prices. <br />

Replacement was done within one week of calling.  The work that was done was superior!  We had issues with poor seals with our previous door which was quite apparent after the installation of our current patio door. <br /> We were also informed of ways to care for our door to prevent future problems.  I will definitely use this company again!

They replaced my doors and windows with energy efficient ones. It was a very good experiences. It was efficient, after the winter. The workmanship was good. They quality of the product was good. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did a great job. I had a problem with the window company and Scott stepped right in and got the problem resolved. They are professional and real down to earth. I would highly recommend them.

The entire job ran very well. We needed the work completed quickly  ,Because we were working with another contractor who was painting the doors. I called scott and explained the situation He came out that day to estamate the work and put the job on his schudule for the next day. His timing was perfect! He saved us so much time and trouble. the workmenship was perfect.We would definitely hire agian. We found Scott on angies list. We also called a few other contractors, however they were unable to  estamate or get the work done in the time frame we had.  We are  very greatfull  that he went out of his way to get our job completed on time.

Scott and his son have previously replaced all of our windows so I trusted them to do a great job on our doors - they didn't disappoint. Scott met with me to discuss work and explained the added cost for solid custom-sized doors.  I wanted to match the look of the original doors, including inset panels and window panes.  Scott recommended a manufacturer that was willing to custom build the doors to specification.  It took 8+ weeks for the doors to be made, but it was well worth the wait.  It was tedious work removing the old doors and original weather stripping.  The install required on-the-spot door planing to get an exact fit to frame. They also swapped out my door locks and added new weather stripping.  Work was completed in one day and site left clean.  We love our new doors!
