We had hail damage, so insurance was involved. Our sales rep, Alala was responsive, set realistic expectations of the whole process and acted as our advocate both with her team and with our insurance company. When the project wrapped up, we were very pleased with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. You can tell that they take pride in the work they do. Working with Superior Products was a great experience. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, all company representatives were courteous and professional. The work crew was outstanding - their team really hustled every day on the job, and we were very impressed with their craftsmanship. We ultimately chose Superior Products because they were more willing accommodate our needs than other companies we consulted. We wanted to keep our existing soffits, because they were still in good shape and matched other exterior elements on our house. Other companies said "No, everything must be replaced." Superior Products was perfectly willing to let us keep our existing soffits, and they integrated them seamlessly with the new product. We were impressed that Superior was willing and able to respect our wishes, even though it meant a little less money for them. All in all, it was a pleasure working with Alala and Superior Products, and we are happy to recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their siding.

While there were some bumps along the way, management made it right in the end. The one thing I can say is the company name completely aligns with the products they deliver, SUPERIOR!. Amazing windows, sliding glass door and my custom dogie door is absolutely fabulous.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of Superior Products and overall satisfied with the completed project. There were a few challenges that were uncovered as the project went along but they were very accommodating and ultimately completed the job to my satisfaction. They got off to a slow start initially but once they got the right crew in place, the work was completed quickly. The only reason for the B rating and not an A was because of the unforseen challenges with part of our job. Although they ultimately resolved this to my satisfaction, it would've been good to identify and address the problems up front.

I had gotten a quote for residing my house from Tom at Superior Products, along with other vendors, back in 2007.  It was too expensive at the time so I put off the project for a time.  But when I was ready, I called Superior back.  Tom still had the old quote with all the measurements and photos, even including a picture of my old dog.  <br /> Tom listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions.  He gave us samples, explained the differences between materials we could use, and helped us decide what to include in the project, for example painting doors & trim, gutters, and all the details.  Knowing that this was a big project, he offered suggestions for where we could put off work for now.  He was patient while we went through some iterations and made himself available to meet in person when requested. <br /> Materials were delivered on time and the work crew showed up as scheduled.  The project stayed on schedule and within cost.  Tom was very persistent during the quote period to understand the project down to small details so that the cost and schedule would be right.  And they were.  We did have a delay due to missing special-order materials.  That lost us some time due to the delivery plus some time for the crew to cycle back to us.  When they were available again they worked through the weekend and got it done.  <br /> The last steps were painting the trim and doors and hanging gutters.  Once that was done there was still some trash to hall off.  Another excellent Superior Products general contractor Dave helped worked with us during the project while Tom was unavailable.  Knowing that we were going out of town, he paid to expedite the final cleanup so that it would be done before we left. <br /> The only thing that the county inspector said was: "They did a really good job!" <br />

On November 6, 2012 you replaced our siding with and acirc;??James Hardieand acirc;?? pre-painted fiber cement siding, provided a and acirc;??Tyvekand acirc;?? house wrap under the siding, and replaced and painted the trim work with and acirc;??Sherman-Williamsand acirc;?? 25 year paint. You also provided roof repairs on the shake shingle roof ridges. The Tyvek wrap has minimized internal drafts. I waited until now to see how things would turn out through a second winter. My wife and I could not be more pleased. The house looks as good as the day you completed the job. Woodpeckers have ceased to be a problem. I am a firm believer in and acirc;??you only pay once for high quality, but you will continually pay for and acirc;??cheapand acirc;??. The quality of the Hardie fiber cement board siding is amazing. I obtained 5 quotes. You were the second to the lowest but you established yourself as fair, honest, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the work you did with my insurance company to get me a fair storm damage settlement to minimize my out of pocket cost. The work crew you assigned was professional and polite. We are now preparing to sell and move to a ranch house to get away from stairs as the children are grown and we no longer need this large of a house. The new siding and trim paint will increase the value of our home and also make it easier to sell. Thank you again. You truly operate an exceptional company.

Tom, the owner of Superior Products Home Improvements is wonderful to work with. He is professional and knowledgeable about all of his products, giving the customer great advise and steering them to the solution that will best meet their needs and specifications. <br /> Tom's installation crew is friendly and hard working and did a wonderful job installing the siding that has the look of stained wood but the durability and weather resistance of cement board siding. The project had many details that needed to be addressed, and the crew made sure all of them were taken care of. <br /> I will gladly call on Tom and Superior Products Home Improvements for other projects with they come up. <br />

The price was very fair, less than some competitors' bids, and close with others. Neil was the project manager for our job, and delivered very good results. When we discussed what needed to be done, he worked with me to save money where possible without sacrificing quality. When I had an issue over whether I could use a discount coupon, the owner Tom called me directly and was very willing to work with me until I was satisfied. The siding crew was very good, got everything done on time or early, knowledgeable and friendly. The painter, Rafael, did an awesome job, amazing attention to detail; he even painted the existing doors to match for free, which had not been included in the price I was paying. Overall great results and a good price, I am very pleased with the end result-

*The Business* <br /> I met Tom Higgins at the Denver Home expo and was very impressed with his industry knowledge.  He was professional and was concerned about what was important to me in residing my house.  I obtained 3 bids for the work and Tom's bid was inline with the other bids.  I decided to go with Tom because of his professionalism, honesty and integrity.  He outlined the process and was very thorough within his presentation.  The bid laid out all of the expectations and didn't leave much up to interpretation.  Compared to the other contractors, I could tell that Tom cared about the way he presented his business, and created clear expectations of the project.  Truth be told he was a little more expensive than the other bids we received, but the confidence that I had in him compared to the other contractors made it an easy decision.  Tom Higgins knows the business inside and out, will put your needs first and cares that the work is done right. <br /> *The work* <br /> The work started precisely within the timeframe that Tom gave us, and there were no surprises along the way.  Within a few days of the delivery of a dumpster, port-o-potty, and the permit work began on the house.  The crew worked very efficiently and had the entire house re-sheathed, wrapped and sided within 1 week.  Tom even included a "personal touch" in adding crown molding to our porch, which looks great!  Tom, and his wife Sherri, helped us pick the paint colors that match the existing features on our house, which was a big help too!  The painting crew (that Tom set up) arrived and had the house caulked, painted and finished within 3 days.  He truly took care of all the work from start to finish.  <br /> *The Verdict* <br /> There are too many ways to list how Tom took care of us through our siding project.  If you are looking for a contractor that you know will take care of your needs in a professional manner, and want to eliminate the fear of ending up with a poor finished product, then you have found your contractor.  It has long been said, "You get what you pay for", but in Tom's case, Superior Products delivers much much more.

My insurance ended up paying for most of it. There was some damage on the north side of our house approximately 1,000 square-feet. I went over some of the products that they use, and I had talked to other people as well, but he had the product that I wanted to match the other siding that I had. So, I went with them, plus on Angie’s list, he had several good reviews. They were very thorough. They found some other things once the old siding was removed and contacted my insurance company to see if they would pay for the repairs of that as well. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about what they were doing as well as the workers that came out and did it.

Mike was very easy to work with and always available.  The workers were competent and courteous - it seemed like they took pride in their work. <br />

Very well.  The crew was there when scheduled.  They cleaned up after themselves so I was not left with any mess.  The job was done in exactly the time period they quoted me.  They were able to match the paint of the detached garage almost perfectly with the color of the siding of the house.  Tom was great.  He was not a high pressured salesman and was happy to answer all of my questions without making me feel stupid or that I was wasting his time.  He was very patient in his explanations of all of my options. <br />

We had several rock-face "bricks" coming loose.  These were properly reset with mortar.  But the biggest part of the job was tearing out a section of sidewalk leading up to our front steps and replacing it with 4 inches of concrete on a proper base with a "spacer" which was lacking in the original, and also resetting some bricks on the front steps. <br /> The work was done timely and in a very professional and workmanlike manner.  I would whole heartedly recommend Superior Products for concrete and masonry projects, small or large.

I would use them again.

Overall the finished product was great but leading up to that was a nightmare.  They had staffing issues, permit issues, and the managing side of it sucked.

My 30 year old wood deck, built on the main level of a foothills  home with a walk-out basement and steep slope needed to be replaced.  I got 4 estimates on a composite deck , and every company I talked to was professional and helpful. But Tom Higgins of Superior Products stood out from the others.  He wasn't just interested in getting the contract, he was interested in what I wanted, and what he thought would work for me.  He made excellent suggestions that helped me obtain the perfect deck. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.  After he got a good idea of what I had in mind, he suggested I go look at composite materials at The Deck Superstore.  In that way, I could see the different materials weatherized, talk to knowledgeable "material" specialist, see the various railing systems, colors, etc.  It was a great experience. Much better than picking a product from a catalog, or a small sample.  He knew what the county inspectors would expect and made suggestions that made my lower patio, that is on the edge of a steep slope, safer. <br /> Tom talked me through all the steps in getting the deck built. <br /> In addition, he was able to help me with the purchase of a new sliding glass door and a side entrance door to the garage. It was really nice to work with a contractor who could do more than just the deck.  If I had a question about a product that Tom wasn't 100% sure of, he took the time to call the manufacturer. <br /> Tom kept in close contact with me throughout the process of making decisions and building the deck and completing the door installations.  Tom came out and introduced me to  Joe, the young man who was going to build the deck.  We again had a discussion on what it was I wanted and how the building would proceed.  It was great to have all three of us hear the same thing.  Everyone was on the same page.  Tom Higgins was delightful to work with. It was like having a friend working with me to get what I needed! <br /> And, there was Joe!  What a craftsman and a gentleman!  He was delightful to work with!  He worked hard. He showed up every morning ready to work hard, and with a smile on his face.  He worked well with his helper. He respected my family and was always a gentleman.  My grown son was so impressed that Joe and his helper didn't play obnoxious, loud music, or talk loud or rude. Joe cleaned up after himself everyday, and when the deck was done, my property was cleaner and neater than when he started!  Which was pretty amazing due to winter weather being part of the equation. This was not an easy job! Since my house is on a steep rocky slope Joe had his work cut out for him! <br /> My deck is a work of art!  My doors are fantastic!  Tom and Joe are terrific.  I couldn't have asked for a better relationship!  Now, even after the work is done, Tom has been in contact with me, to make sure everything turned out the way I hoped. <br /> Thank your Superior Products!  Thank you Tom  and Joe.

Both home improvement projects were competed beautifully, on time, by courteous and talented craftsmen to my complete satisfaction. And the prices were not just reasonable, they were wonderfully with in my budget. I'm a happy and satisfied customer of Tom Higgins and Superior Home Improvement Products. I will be using him in the future for other projects. He is adding value, comfort and enjoyment to my home. <br /> My husband and I are more academics, not craftspeople. The services were completed to satisfaction - on time. Discussed some follow-up cosmetic "painting" on outside sections of the deck that became visible when the wood was removed. Tom agreed to come back and take care of it once the trex faded (to be able to match the paint to the trex). Very satisfied with this repsonse to my request. <br />

They are very good, professional, reasonable, and very knowledgeable. The stucco was in deplorable condition and they knew how to fix it which was going to be a very difficult to repair. They came out three different times just to make sure they would of been able to do the job correctly. they even brought out manufacturers representatives. Just overall great customer service and if the home didn't fall through i would of used for the house to be repaired. I would highly recommend them to others.

Tom Higgins met with us several times to discuss products and estimates.  He then lined up his crews and scheduled the jobs accordingly.  We ran into few unexpected issues (as usual with a reno.), but Tom and his crews kept the site clean and all was handled very professionally.  The project took close to a month to complete, and it was well worth the time. <br />

Mike Musso's supervision and coordination of the roofing, siding and painting sub contractors was professionally handled from beginning to end.  All crews were couteous, responsive and expert.  The total job was started and finished as promised and we are very happy with the workmanship and overall results. <br /> We highly recommend Superior Products and we are certain to call them again for future projects.

They were all very nice and fine.  One window doesn’t fit properly.  I know that if I call, they will send somebody to straighten that out.  They are very workable.  They are very professional and very friendly.  I am selling my house and so I chose less expensive windows because I didn’t want to put a lot of money into it.

Back in 2005, We contacted the local James Hardie representative who helped answered our questions and gave us a list of preferred installers.  Your company's name was on the list and was one of the first we contacted.  Because of our concern over the special installation requirements of James Hardie siding, we were interested in finding a contractor who had the most experience with it.  We solicited bids from you, another James Hardie preferred installer, and from a trusted local contractor who had experience installing Hardiplank. <br /> <br /> From the time we first met, you had answers to all our questions and gave us a feeling of confidence.  We felt that we were dealing with someone who knew the product and took his business and the satisfaction of his customers seriously.  Our meetings with you and Joel helped us map our the size and scope of our project, keeping in mind the constraints of our budget. <br /> <br /> Our original goal was to replace our weather damaged siding with an attractive, durable, low maintenance product.  Thankfully, after meetings with you and Joel, armed with your advice and recommendations, we were able to realize the addition of new soffit, fascia, raing gutters, and installation of   Tuff-R exterior foam insulation under our new siding without straining our budget. <br /> <br /> Construction began exactly as promised. <br /> <br /> We applaud the installers, Walter and Pedro, who worked tirelessly each day from sunup to sundown.  Even as Mother Nature was dishing out some of her infamous Colorado springtime weather, their work progressed unabated.  Their skill and efficiency was impressive and proved themselves as an exceptional team. <br /> <br /> All of our siding and trim board was pre-stained at Rocky Mountain Pre-Stain.  Larry the painter, applied a second finish coat to all of the trim board, painted our garage doors to match the house, and carefully inspected each piece of siding, artistically touching up any areas that didn't look perfect.  Larry's keen eye and attention to detail gave us confidence knowing that he takes great pride in his work, and is not satisfied until the job is done right. <br /> <br /> Tom, we have to say that nothing means more to us than delivering what you promise.  You were always easy to reach, always promptly returned our calls, and always arrived for our appointments EXACTLY ON TIME!   You, and everyone associated with Superior Products far exceeded our expectations, every time we have called or needed your services over the last 5-6 years.

From the estimate to the finished job, the project was well planned and executed.  The crew that removed the old siding and installed the new insulation and siding was courteous, efficient and professional. They took  time to consult with us as the work progressed and offered suggestions as to how the architectural window trim was to be constructed.  The end result added a great deal to the overall appearance of the house. The painting crew was equally professional and took time to do extra work to ensure the integrity of the basement windows and seals.  They also repaired three minor masonry areas that were damaged during the removal of the old siding.  Whenever we had a question about the painting process they would immediately take time to answer our questions.  The gutter guys did a great job installing the 5 in. seamless gutters and oversized downspouts. <br /> <br /> All workmen arrived on time and were well skilled in their areas of expertise.  The Superior Products staff was quick to respond to all of our questions and the job was well supervised by Mr. Higgins and his staff.  We received many favorable  comments on our residing  project.  We highly recommend using Superior Products for home improvements. <br />
