Sure-Fix Remodeling

We hired Sure-Fix to do multiple jobs. The owner, Henry, came to our house and we walked him through all of the projects we want done and he provided good feedback and ideas. He also understood that this isn't our forever home, so while we do want to make it nicer, some projects are not worth putting money in to. They gutted our mudroom, replaced the old exterior door, closed in a window to provide better space functionality, built shelves in the mudroom closet to make it a pantry, insulated the room, rebuilt the unstable steps, installed outlets, base board heater, and new lights, replaced the flooring, replaced the roof over the mudroom, put up dry wall, and painted. They also installed a new exterior door in our sun room, replaced five old windows, and installed new outlets in our office. The workers were all very nice and you could tell they know their trade. They told us if we discovered an issue they would come fix it. Good customer service.

We're super happy with our new platform deck that SureFix put in for us. Job was done completely and quickly and we can't wait to enjoy our new space.

Sure Fix renovated our living room and put in built ins. They also repainted and remolded, put in a banister and refinished out half bath from 70: retro to updated. Everyone was courteous clean and we are very happy with the work they have done.

I’ve had several home projects done by Sure-Fix and have more planned. I could not be happier. They are very professional and courteous, the workmen are very accommodating around the home and are careful about the amount of mess they make. They show up when they say they will show up and are very responsive. Best of all they do great work! I am incredibly happy with all of the projects they’ve completed for me. Highly recommend! (The jobs they did were not in the drop-down menu, but I had to select to proceed). They took down a wall, redid all of the flooring through my upstairs and added all new moulding They painted my entire kitchen, living room, dining room and hallway including all of the windows sills, replaced railings on the stairs and edge of the living room as I have a split level, replaced all of my inside doors, installed two toilets, a new sink, installed drop-down attic door, and most recently contracted to install my HVAC. If for considering hiring them do it!

Surefix provides excellent service. I have used them on multiple occasions, most recently to refinish the floor of the dinig room and to repaint the lounge and repair the kitchen plumbing. They did a great job, fast, efficiwnt and very high quality. Five stars no question.

It was awesome!! Henry and his crew were professional! Henry gave me quote that was understandable and with reasonable payments. The guys who completed the work did a super and thro job. They answered my question and concerns along the way! Henry did physical check ins daily. If he was not satisfied he had his men fix the issue. Sure-Fix even went above and beyond my expectations!! So pleased. We will use sure-fix again for our next project! Highly recommended

The entire process has gone incredibly smoothly, from initial planning to the finished result. Sure fix made each step of the process easy to understand, their site supervisor was incredibly responsive to anything we needed and made sure the work was done to our satisfaction. Our remake was a total kitchen and bath, gutted and remade. They finished on time and it is not only a functional and beautiful project but it came in on time and within the budget. No surprises!!!.. We will be using their services again!

Excellent. The workers were on time and maintain work area clean. We have used this company for years and they have never disappointed us. We already have projects set for next Spring. Henry and Tony are great people.

We signed a contract with Sure Fix on April 5th for painting, carpentry, tile work, plumbing and electric work totaling over $25,000 to remodel the house we had just moved into. Sure Fix's performance was decidedly mixed, and we would not hire them again. 1) 5-6 WEEKS LONGER THAN ESTIMATED Before selecting Sure Fix, Henry the owner told us the project would take TWO TO THREE weeks. In reality, they took EIGHT WEEKS, or 3-4 times longer than the estimate. 2) LATENESS NOT DUE TO ADDITIONAL WORK We added and subtracted work items after the work began, and the net cost of additional work only totaled about 20% more than the original price--a workload justifying only a few days of extra labor, and not a 5-6 week overrun. 3) ON MANY DAYS, DID NO WORK ON OUR PROJECT There were many days when only 1 or 2 workmen worked for just a few hours, and at least 10 entire days when no workmen came at all. This was a matter of health for us, as my boyfriend has asthma and was adversely affected by the dust that the prolonged work period exposed us to. 4) THEY JUGGLE MANY JOBS AT THE SAME TIME Tony, the project manager, justified his periodic abandonment of our project by writing: "We have several jobs going on and we have to be fair to everyone." We felt, however, that being fair to us would mean completing our project, without gaps of inactivity, in 2-3 weeks as promised--but that did not happen. Instead, Tony wrote on a day when no work happened: "I have other jobs to do." 5) MADE MAJOR MISTAKES COSTING US TIME AND/OR MONEY Among other mistakes, a whole week was lost when Sure Fix erred by ordering a custom countertop made of the wrong material. In the end, Henry charged us an extra $1,500 for the substitute higher-grade material we ultimately selected, but we would have been happy with our previous choice for $1,500 less. 6) STOPPED COMMUNICATING AFTER LAST PAYMENT, LEAVING WORK UNDONE After we made final payment, we could see that final touch-ups had been done with the wrong paint, and those touch-ups now required touching-up themselves. We texted Tony several times and left a voice mail for Henry to schedule the fixes still due, but neither of them bothered to answer us. SUMMARY Their workmen were friendly and the work was generally good. But on balance, we would certainly not hire Sure Fix again. Photos of some of the work that Sure Fix left uncorrected are attached.

Sure Fix did one full bathroom, another bathroom floor, and granite counters for us. They were efficient, highly skilled, and everything went as planned. We're very pleased with the work product. For future work, they'll be our first call.

SureFix did a great job upgrading my laundry room. We had a multitude of services, and I am very happy with all of it. I would highly recommend them for your next project.

We had a fantastic experience with Sure Fix. We have actually never had a good experience with a contractor until we worked with them. They were professional and timely. If there were any small errors, they fixed them. We were extremely please with their work.
