Locally owned business (206-550-9097 or 253-219-3460), as the owner, I conduct every inspection for 28 years. Clients receive a concise complete report with photos and a summary. All inspection also include a State certified pest inspection at no additional cost. Offering inspections for all property types (New Construction, Multiplexes, Commercial & Residential). I proudly serve all Western Washington. My clients dream with their eyes wide open.

Complete Home Inspection
Before buying I needed a specialist to look deeper into a potential issue, Greg was very knowledgable, friends and as it turns out just the guy for the job. He exposed all the issues and made my choice of not buying a house an easy one.
Great to work with, has pest and structural qualification and was very reasonable.
I'd highly recommend him and will be calling him again soon when I find another house.

Greg was great! He went out of his way to get to my location and stayed for a long time was very thorough. His report was detailed and very helpful. I've hired a lot of professionals in the last year and have had some real duds. Some really disappointing transactions. And Greg and Sherlock Holmes inspection was the exception. He's the best professional I've hired in all year. I learned a lot. And with the things he suggested I get done he offered to talk to the people I hired to do the jobs and he has spoken to them and now on his own time. This is very impressive to me. Cuz the job is done and he's still willing to help me. And I've called him several times and To ask lots of questions. And he always gets back to me right away if he doesn't answer immediately and has just been really accommodating and I appreciate it so much. He Is very knowledgeable, That has been so helpful for me.

Did a REALLY good work and his report was very detailed and was very polite in answering all the questions we had. I would rehire him again when every we need an inspection and without a doubt would recommend his company to my friends and family :)

Greg did an excellent job inspecting the house I am trying to purchase! He was articulate and thorough. He went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations. Even plumbers/contractors had nothing but good things to say about him when I mentioned that he did my inspection. I would highly recommend anyone using his services. Greg was by far the best home inspector we could have hired, he's very easy to work with and he explains anything you might have questions on, his inspection report is very extensive and in depth (with pictures provided and trouble areas circled/pointed out), his rates are fantastic and if we ever need an inspector again, he'll definitely be our first call! Phenomenal customer service. Greg went above and beyond with both of the home inspections that he did for me and my family. Gregory Madsen did a through inspection of the house. After the initial inspection Gregory went over the items he had found along with pictures of what he saw. I was provided with a full report within a couple of days of the inspection along with a homeowners handbook.

Excellent. Greg found a number of things I have since brought to the attention of the builder. He is thorough, easy to work with, and will give good explanations. While he is quite busy, he will make every effort to accommodate you in his schedule if at all possible.

Greg was amazing, I came into this house with rose tinted glasses. Seeing no issues with the place, I expected the inspection to find nothing major. Much to my surprise there were serious deficiencies in the foundation, siding, roofing, electrical, appliance hookups and more. I would have been on the hook for a magnitude of repairs that I was not able to handle. Greg's critical eye saved my bacon! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and delivered his written report promptly. Thanks!

Greg was very responsive to get back to me and we scheduled a time. He was punctual and extremely professional. Bonus: also a certified pest inspector. He took extra time to answer all my questions and recommend fixes. The report I received later that day was very thorough with dozens of photographs and he also was very responsive with my follow up questions to me, the new home owner. Highly recommend!

Greg was very thorough in his inspection and thoroughly explained his findings to help us prioritize issues we needed to address in our home. He helped identify a leak in the roof, cracks in grout, and other miscellaneous issues that we would have missed. Everything went extremely well, from scheduling the appointment, to Greg's timeliness in showing up and completing the inspection as outlined. He was friendly but professional and quite clear in his explanations regarding the findings. He answered all our questions and invited calls if we had any more. I highly recommend him and of course would use him again in the future.
