Surface Bella did some bathroom renovations for me and their crew was professional and polite and did lovely work. I’d recommend that you get your comparable bids from other companies first, and then ask surface Bella for their quote. That way you are ready to make a decision and can take advantage of any discounts they offer at your first meeting.

I regret using this company. They did a terrible job on our deck. After 2 attempts to fix it, it was still not built to code. Bad angles, no proper hand railings, inconsistent gaps between balusters, gaps not to code. Railing heights not to code. I don't think they know what a tape measure is. Awful customer service and communication.

On 3/31/23 we contracted with Surface Bella a company that builds and replaces and repairs Trex decks in Greenville SC to upgrade our current deck to trex laid on the diagonal with a picture frame around it. Total cost $16,230. Downpayment of $8,115. On May 3rd, the deck was completed and the final payment of $8,115 was made. On 5/17/23 Southeastern Underdeck {SEUD] company installed a ceiling under the Trex deck. It leaked from day one. SEUD came out and evaluated the ceiling and the deck. They advised it was a flashing problem that Surface Bella did not take care of when they installed the deck. Ben Smith, SEDU, sent an email to us on July 5th stating "Frankly, I'm surprised they didn't address that as they were redecking, as they were looking right at it." After several texts and emails to Tim Davis at Surface Bella, he replied that they would remove the decking on approximately 15 x 13 ft of the deck and that they did not have the flashing material necessary to fix it but they would then come back after it was fixed and re-install the boards for $1800. My husband, Ted, asked if they would split that cost and Tim Davis in another text replied NO. So Ted who is 77 years old, by himself, removed all the necessary decking boards, put new flashing in, and reinstalled the decking boards during July 25 -27 in mid to high 90-degree weather. Attached is a picture of holes in the flashing (you have to enlarge the picture to see] when Surface Bella had removed all the original decking. The next pictures show, when Ted removed the new decking boards there were holes where their installer just placed deck boards on top of the holes!!!!! We would never recommend Surface Bella to anyone! They do sloppy work and don't stand behind it. Tina and Ted Carmody

I had a major remodeling project and got help from their sales manager / designer who was the best! Too bad he left the company. The building manager who coordinated my deck build left the company after just a week. The electrician is wonderful & so is their primary tile subcontractor, but everyone else you need to watch closely. Surface Bella is very expensive and I doubt I got my money's worth, but at least they didn't run out on the job. They also tend to cut corners.

Excellent job and the deck is beautiful. If the communications between myself and their representative had been better, they would receive a five star rating from me.

It was great. Good service and quality.

Surface Bella did an amazing job on our deck and screen porch project. They worked hard from start to finish and communicated with us all throughout the entire project. We will be calling soon for our bathroom remodel soon.
