It started out well. He installed the tile. I have never ever seen a worst grout job. It's inconsistent. It's thin and it's thick. The man didn't know how to use a sponge for the tile grout. He did reinstall the baseboard on one of the bedrooms. He asked to remove the baseboard on the other room and he took it off. It was difficult to reinstall the baseboard. I offer to buy a new baseboard. I told him he buys it and I will give him the money. He didn't came back and he's not responding. Never return the calls. When he left here, he left me a wallpaper scraper and he told me I can even out the grout line if I scrape it off.

We were very pleased with Surface Professionals. James and Anastasiya kept in close contact with us throughout and adjusted dates when we were unexpectedly out of town. Tile looks great; exactly what we wanted. Most appreciative that they carefully protected counters and flooring and did a thorough cleanup. Very professional and we would use them again.

Terrible, stressful and frustrating experience with Surface Professionals, despite having checked credentials in addition to 3 references. The job encompassed removal of carpet & tile throughout the home and installation of porcelain tile in all rooms. The owners initially indicated that the work would be completed in two weeks. It ended up being double that. While being assured they had purchased a special leveling system to ensure all tiles would be evenly laid, it is very clear that there is significant “lippage” (unevenness) throughout. We are also noticing numerous pinholes in the grout. This job was simply too big for this small company. They need at least one additional full-time installer to complete projects in a timely way. It is clear that the rooms that were done last were quite haphazard, and they were rushing to finish and eager to get out. No professional would have left the job as they did, with significant grout not being cleaned up. They came back a week later and spent 3 hours doing an acid wash. While it looked a bit better, there was still quite a bit of haze. Several contractors who came through afterward were in disbelief that Surface Professionals left the tile in that state. Despite using a Swiffer (their advice) and buying two steam cleaners, the grout haze is not coming off. The floors throughout the house look extremely dirty. We are now getting quotes for a professional tile cleaning that will cost an additional $2000-4000. Please be aware that this company overpromises and under delivers, and we would not hire nor recommend them at all.

James replied quickly to my request. He listened and discussed options. I received three other quotes, all within $100 of each other, but felt most comfortable with James. Job was scheduled. James and Anastaysia arrived on time and completed LR luxury vinyl floor in one day. They picked up materials for me . Floor looks great. My wife and I are very happy with it.

The tile work was good but left a little corner missing and one tile is cracked. Moving appliances and replacing them is where the damage comes in and they won’t own up to it. Chunks out of wood work that have to be replaced. Refrigerator placed on top of water hose so ice machine didn’t work. I’m 87 years and can’t fix things myself

They did what other companies said couldn't be done. Wasn't a big job, more of a nuisance and other companies didn't want to deal with it but they did. Not only did they get the job done, it looks great. The most impressive thing is how attentive they are to communicating with you for the whole process. I will have them back to do more work in my house.

Excellent. Very professional and knowledgeable on design; wood, tile, Luxury vinyl plank. Very responsive to questions and explained every step of the project. I received a detailed bId for the project which included budget options. I felt respected and heard as I explained my project which was very fluid in the beginning. They arrived on time; explained what to expect and time frame for the project. They moved our furniture; no damages; cleaned up the work sight and gave us a detailed Invoice. I highly recommend them!!! Already planning My next project and hiring them AGAIN!

I worked with many contractors from Angi, a few of them are terrible. But surface professionals LLC is extremely good, they are very professional and honest, provide me very detailed proposal, ask and answer my questions, they help me to order the tile and take care of the delivery. Start and Finish the floor installation on time, keep my house and furniture very clean. Excellent job. Highly recommend them.

Immaculate job tiles looked gorgeous, well organized and told me step by step how it was going to be done. Reliable, responsible, and cleanliness a plus. Tiled with grouting and cemented 14 inches of steps in my shower. I was very happy with his work and would highly recommend him to others. Excellent workmanship and his price was right! Can’t wait for the cement to dry on this shower so I can test it out. Thank you to these owners I will highly recommend your work!
