I had an extremely disappointing experience with [ Take Air, Air Duck Cleaning company]. The services outlined in the invoice were not performed as promised and attempts to resolve the issue have been met with silence. I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but the company failed to respond, showing a complete lack of accountability and customer care. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and honest service.

Unfortunately, I have to give these people a start, even though they don't deserve it, and I suspect their good reviews are likely fake. Please be cautious and don’t let them scam you. They will come to your house under the pretense of providing an estimate. They start at $200 for air conditioning duct cleaning but then claim to find mold. They act honestly and try to help you by offering the best deal. What began as a $200 service ended up costing me $2,700 for cleaning 15 a/c vents, all while alleging that they found mold. Sadly, in my effort to protect my family, I ended up paying for something that wasn't true. I know I will lose a significant amount of money, but I hope no one else has to go through what I am experiencing. I can’t ask this person to feel remorse for taking so much money from a single mother trying to keep her home clean and healthy for her kids. I plan to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, hoping these people will learn not to take advantage of others and to be honest with their customers.

After discovering mold growing out of one of our vents, we used Angie's List to call 5 companies for quotes. TakeAir was the only company that took several pictures of the vent and actual AC unit. Avi sat and talked with my husband and I about the problem, explained our options, and pricing, including warranties. They had the longest warranties for their services, which gave use the impression that they back their work. We scheduled with them on Thanksgiving (yes, they were available for us to contact with any questions). They came out Sunday and worked diligently from 10:30am-3pm. They covered our furniture and belongings to ensure that it wouldn't get dirty. They took our vents off and washed them, cleaned the boxes, intakes, ducts and unit. After washing, they sanitized and installed the UV light system to prevent the problem from occurring again. They cleaned up afterwards. The smell of our house is wonderful after they used their organic solution. We are extremely pleased from the initial call, schedule for quote, questions, schedule for job, and actual job. Highly recommend!!

TakeAir Houston came to our home to clean our AC vents. After inspection they found we had a mold infestation in all out AC vents and AC unit. Avi gave us a number of photo's to review and told us what it would take to kill the mold and what would be needed to clean the full system once the mold was eliminated. Avi also showed us photo's and videos of our insulation which was contaminated and also missing in quite a few areas of our loft. He then told us what was need to clean out the old insulation, clean the loft and blow 13" of R38 insulation back in. When the guys turned up to do the work they were very respectable of our home and it's contents. They covered everything up and got on with their work. Once everything was completed they showed us the before and after photos and also gave us a video of the loft area showing us the new insulation. All in all they did a wonderful job, quickly, quietly and without any issues whatsoever. They whole team were great and a pleasure to have in our home. I would definitely recommend TakeAir Houston for any mold, cleaning or insulation work you may have at your home

Take Air Duct and Carpet Specialist completed a HVAC full service & solution treatment,for our home. A new electrostatic air filter was added. The Technicians were very professional and did an excellent job. I was shown before and after pictures of the completed service. The work done was amazing. The cost was well worth being able to inhale much cleaner air. Allergies will improve. Our family wholeheartedly recommend this company.

TakeAir did an excellent job with my dryer vent cleaning. The company was extremely responsive and were able to get someone out the next day. They worked with my schedule to coordinate a time for the appointment. Francisco explained the whole process and was very conscious of my home and wore protective covering on his feet each time he came into the house. I would highly recommend Francisco and TakeAir and will be calling them to do all my vent cleaning work in the future.

Francisco and his brother Reynaldo did an outstanding job. The were very professional and delivered on a timely basis. They really wanted to make sure that the customer was satisfied with their work. They did a great job! The carpets were badly pet-stained & they came out looking like new! Dryer vent cleaning has reduced by drying time from 3 cycles to 1! They found quite a bit of build-up in my HVAC which was a shock, especially with the added cost to do a complete system cleaning. But they showed me pictures of the problems & decided it needed to be done. I'm very pleased with their service & would definitely use them again.

Joe and Chris did an amazing job cleaning my totally blocked dryer vent. They were on time and worked great as a team. They took videos before and after the cleaning so I was able to see exactly how blocked my vent truly was. They also showed me evidence of a previous cleaning by another company, where they had not only not thoroughly cleaned the roof cap and vent pipe, but had dumped lint all over my attic instead of cleaning it up! They were also able to replace my dryer vent hose, which had collected water since the vent was blocked at the roof. Expensive? Yes - but beware the service you might get with another company's Groupon. You get what you pay for. My dryer runs better now than it did when it was brand new. I would hire these guys again in a minute. Excellent job!

Just fine. The workman was very nice. He worked quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up and left the space looking nicer than before he started. He left us with several helpful suggestions on how to avoid future problems.. We'll definitely use this vendor again should the need arise.

Joe came out on this call. As promised he called ahead of appointment and was here within time estimated. Young man was fast, clean and knowledgeable about service required and provided some preventative maintenance suggestions. He provided me with the range of services he could provide and the costs associated in case scope of work was more than I anticipated. Reasonable price paid for work done. My service require both inside and outside line clearing but thankfully no blockage.

The crew of 2 showed up on time. They completed cleaning in less than 20 minutes. They offered a bird screen for the vent outlet at the wall of the house for $49 which I thought it was pricey. All in all they did a good job. I wish the price was lower.

The company responded promptly to my inquiry which was made the day before Thanksgiving. When I called back the day after Thanksgiving they were again prompt and polite with providing me a competitive quote and an appointment date and time that fit my schedule. An email confirmation followed plus a day-before reminder. The technicians arrived within the appointed time. They were neat, courteous and easy to communicate with. They confirmed the scope of the job and that the price which had been quoted over the phone would be the actual price for the work to be done. They explained the steps to be done and when they were finished reviewed the results with me. No mess was left behind. Payment was done by credit card and an electronic invoice was provided..

Couldn’t have gone any better. The first day he came to check the issue the vent was badly clogged. He did not leave until he came up with a temporary solution so I could dry clothes. He predicted a break and he was right. He showed us what was going on the whole time taking pictures as well. He was very knowledgeable on his profession and I would highly recommend this company. He went above and beyond.

The service was great, the guys were very very helpful but the service price is too high for the work performed. My dryer vent was clogged & full of lint. They used their brush and vacuum and it is clean now. The cleaning coupon is $75. If they find a clog...which they probably will...the price jumps to $280. It takes about 30 minutes.
