Billy Owens is an Industrial Controls graduate from JCCC, has a masters in mechanical & founded our heating & cooling business in May of 2006. After working in the controls industry for 18 years Billy spent some time planning and constructing his own business. He was so enthralled with the process and end result that he decided to do heating & cooling full time. Since then Billy has provided residential, commercial and refrigeration services. Someone came out the day before to see where the furnace was going to be installed. He suggested we go with a slightly larger unit for the size of our house, but we opted to go with the unit that was included in the deal. <br /> Two men came out and installed the A/C and furnace. They told us they would be done with everything in about 4 hours, and kept pretty close to that. The furnace and A/C are both working perfectly so far. <br /> We were mostly very happy with the company and the men who installed our units. There were only a couple minor annoyances. Our old furnace was incredibly rusty inside, and when they removed it from the house, they left a trail of rust and dirt from the basement to the front yard (including through our living room). They did not offer to clean it up, but left it for us to deal with. They also broke a light bulb in the basement and didn't get all the pieces cleaned up. <br />

no heat, no money came out and did a temp. last time was temp. Called came out. put in a whole new hvac need to call back before turn on ac. They were fantastic. axel jones roscoe edwards. were here at 930 and at about 10to 1 were done and guaranteed heat woudl be back on and cleaned up. perfect.

They were very good. I had two different residencies. So I used one of the Angie's List big deals at each location. They were on time, very prompt and professional. They were very easy to work with. I was very pleased. With regard to price, they were very reasonable. I didn’t feel like I was pressured to buy anything additional that I didn’t need. They told me exactly what was going on. Their responsiveness and punctuality were very good. I love the email system that they have. As soon as I buy a coupon, they send me an email and say let's schedule this. I love that because it's a very easy way to communicate without having to get calls all day. I would absolutely sue them again in the future. I have to give them extra kudos as well because I did have two residences. I had my Harrisonville address on record. I was waiting for them 6:10.9 to 6:15.1probably about 15-20 miles away from this address. I thought that they would be out here anytime. Then it dawned on me that I did not give them the updated address. So I called them immediately and said that it was my mistake for sending them the wrong address. They were very gracious in owning up to my mistake.

Wired it wrong and ignored complaints when bill doubled. Service terrible and competence even worse. Didn't even vent properly according to next HVAC service people sent. <br />

I called Tap Heating and Cooling early Sunday afternoon. John was at the house within an hour. He explained to me what the problem was and how it could be fixed. He left to go get parts and was back within the hour like he said. He assured me he wasn't leaving until I had heat. When he left I had heat. Thank you John. In the future Tap has won my business. Nothing but professionalism, honesty, and courteousness was shown. Great customer service. You will be hearing from me in the near future. <br />

Tap Heating and Cooling came while I was at work and my wife was home taking care of our newborn. The technician, Jeff, was very polite and very quiet as well (as we had a newborn sleeping) which I found to be amazingly courteous. He performed the cleaning and inspection of our furnace very quickly and efficiently. When Jeff was finished, he let my wife know the the circuit board was mounted improperly, but that he went ahead and took care of it as it was a very simple fix. As well, a filter was included in this service. I had recently replaced our filter (not realizing I was going to take advantage of this awesome Angie's List deal) and he let my wife know that the filter was still good and that he left a new one next to the furnace for next time. We recently moved here, but Tap Heating and Cooling is for sure my go-to in the area from now on as they showed nothing but professionalism, honesty, and courteousness while in my home. Thanks Jeff and Tap Heating and Cooling, I'll see you in summer for my A/C tune up! <br />

They were fast to come out! They were on time and dressed nice. They bid and got the equipment and installed same day! I was back to being super cool in 6 hours! I will totally use them from now on for my hvac needs. <br />

<p>They did a wonderful job. I think Billy is the owner. They are very nice guys. Everybody else want us to replace the whole furnace and that was a brand new furnace and they didn't know that the furnace was about two to three years old. The guy who put it in died and they told us we needed a new furnace, new recoil and all the stuff, and Billy came out and worked on it. I think it was $200 to $300 to replace the circuit board in it and had been working great. We had him come out here to do our yearly maintenance on our air conditioner.</p>
