Excellent - We wanted to change our AC/Gas furnace system to a heat pump system and decided to use Tarpy. They provided a very comprehensive review of our needs, and spent additional time with me on the phone to help me choose the best and the most cost effective system for installation. Chris and David arrived on time and were very efficient with removal of the old system and installation of the new. They also corrected a couple of errors due to the previous installation (correcting bad welding on the Freon line, and installing a correct condensate discharge). Chris and David clean up the work area and answered any of my questions before they left. The system has been working great. Thanks Chris and David, and Tarpy!

I how 6 estimates from several servide providers. The last one was with Scott, who inspected the furnace in my attic. We sat down and he took his time to explain everything in detail, including my options. I felt he was very informative and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I decided to replace my 19 year old furnace so I went with a complete A/C system. Anyway, Scott scheduled Jason and Nick to do the work the very next day. They started promptly at 8:30 AM and worked energetically and efficiently. I couldn't believe the level of skill and professionalism I witnessed as I watched them work. My condo was already plumbed for A/C, but there were a few issues that needed to be overcome. For example, there was a kink in the copper pipe sticking out of the stucco wall where the condenser needed to be connected. Jason figured out a way to make the connection even though he had very little copper tubing pertruding out of the wall. Meanwhile, Nick was up in the attic assembling the new furnace and other parts. When he was done, I inspected his work and everything looked great. Nick and Jason completed the installation by about 1:30 and did a thorough check to make sure the system was working properly. I'm thrilled with my new A/C system! And just in time for summer.

Tarpy was recommended to me by an electrical contractor I trust. Scott spent the time needed to go over all options for repairing or replacing my old system. I decided to go with a full replacement, and to install new mini-split systems throughout the house. Bowen did a great job working through some tough challenges to work the cleanest install possible. We needed to make a few changes to the install plan along the way and, to his credit, the owner, Broc, stepped up and worked out a fair way to get the job done and done right. Jessica was patient and thorough with the followup paperwork. All in all, a great team, I highly recommend Tarpy, they're an honorable team that delivers on what they promise to do.

Jeff originally came out to diagnose the poor performance of our A/C. He checked things out and came back with the fact that the freon was leaking out. He could recharge it and we could hope for the best, but recommended we have the leak located and repaired. We agreed, which required a follow-up call the next Monday. Carlos came out and located the leaks fairly quickly, and repaired the leaks. Since there were two leaks, we elected to have the other joints in the pipes redone to avoid problems in the future. Carlos also recommended we consider replacing the duct work, as the flexible ducts were almost 40 years old and had a number of bad connections. We had previously thought about the need for new ducts, so this just confirmed what we already knew. We agreed to have Tarpy replace our ductwork and they came out by the end of the week. Billy and Jose were the ductwork installers and were great, doing what appears to be a very professional installation. We now have air in rooms that were previously “challenged", and I'm sure the system will now be much more efficient. While there was some confusion over the time of the installation today, the first two calls were very punctual, and Billy apologize for the confusion (which was not his fault). Billy also wanted to be sure we inspected the work and offered to answer any questions we might have. Overall, we were very happy with our experience with Tarpy and appreciated their professionalism and friendliness. As a result, we will have no problem recommending them to our friends. While the cost of the services was not insignificant, it seemed to be "within the ballpark" and I think the adage "you get what you pay for" applies. We will be using Tarpy in the future should the need arise.

Technician arrived on time and performed services, made recommendations. I bought a new filter and had a repair that was needed. The repair was performed within the time frame that I had. Considering strongly using this company for my AC preseason tuneup

Everything was fine, except I needed a new filter. I did not buy the filter from them because I thought the price was too high. I choose to buy what I needed at a store that sell heater filters.

It went well. Scott was on time and very thorough. He took many pictures so that I could see exactly what our furnace looks like. The company sent me an email beforehand as a reminder of the service and included a picture of Scott.

Thank goodness that Jessica followed up for my work. I had forgotten about purchasing it! Then Scott came out on time, was professional and took the time to explain what he was doing. He was efficient and understood that I had small dogs in my home. I am also impressed with his work experience, ethics and patience. He is one of the rare ones that I could tell enjoys his work and takes pride in it. He treated my equipment as though it was in his home.

It went extremely well! Bowen was very effecient and very knowledgeable about our AC and heating system. He even figured out the soot problem we had throughout the Home. The soot was everywhere! On the walls, ceilings, in the closets and even in the attic! It was so bad the entire interior of the home had to be painted. His theory about the soot was caused during the San Diego wildfires we had in the 2000’s. Totally made since to me. Anyway, about the Tarpy Company. You can’t go wrong with them and their services! Very professional from their office staff (Jessica) to their technicians (Bowen) and reasonable prices. Can’t say enough about Bowen their technician....a master at his art with a great attitude.

I was contacted right away to set up the service appointment. The day of the service I was emailed that the technician was on the way with a picture. The technician called when he was 15 minutes away. He was professional and explained what he would check and when he was finished he went through the system status.

It went absolutely flawlessly! I can't say enough about, Chris, the technician! He was very professional and explained how the furnace worked and why no parts were needed. He tested individual parts - not just a visual inspection! Chris was punctual and called before he arrived. He shook my hand and my 86 year-old mother-in-law's hand and asked her how her day was going. He has personality plus and is energetic, yet cool, calm and collected. I was in management for 41 years and Chris is exactly the type of employee I loved to hire. We took advantage of the heating/cooling check-up deal on Angie's List to have Tarpy Plumbing Heating & Air come out and service our furnace. It was an easy matter to schedule a time for a tech come out to our house for the check-up. When I called for an appointment, I asked if we could have the tech check our A/C at the same time, we were told "of course" and given the Angie's List coupon price for the A/C also. Our Tech, Chris, was thoroughly prepared and well organized - no running back and forth to the truck for equipment/tools. Chris replaced our filter (at no charge) and even checked the output temperature of every air duct to ensure that the A/C and furnace were providing us with the proper air temperature. After servicing our unit, Chris spent time with us to explain what he had done and what his findings were - as it turned out, our unit was in very good condition (we service our A/C & furnace annually) and needed no other work. After wishing us a cheery "Happy Holidays" Chris was on his way to his next stop. We are very impressed with the caliber of people working for Tarpy - from the front office to the field. We'll definitely be using Tarpy for any future A/C or heating work.
